That's some great advertising right there 👏... not to many people would purposely drop their bike 😅
Hopefully those that make excuses will get out and practice
Thank you for taking the time to put this video together.
Unfortunately, I am no longer sponsored by Motorcycle Drop Guards. It's a good product though. I still recommend it. If you decide to order a set, please let them know you saw it here. Thanks!
Fantastic video sir. I’m for sure going to get me a set of those drop protectors. Well done!
Thank you sir! We need to go riding some day!
Excellent my brother. Using all the space provided, I love it. I need to get more practice in while on the road. HAHA love the ending "The Biggest Little TH-cam Chanel On The Entire Outer Space lol. You know what I mean.
I will be back at it this weekend! Hopefully, the next time you come to Memphis (of the next time I come to Cali) we can set some cones up!
Broke my heart to see you drop that bike. Glad your guards worked as they should.
The bike is fine. Not a scratch on it!
Thanks for the videos, have been riding for 50 years. Never too old to learn new things. Some of what you cover was also included in the Ride Like a Pro class that I took. You make it look easy.
Thank you! I plan to take the Ride Like a Pro class next year.
Thanks - grazie. Greetings from Rome 🇮🇹
Looking good brother! Preload!!! And Keep It Loaded!!!! © 👍🏾
Thank you sir!
Let me just get this out the way. This man woke up & chose VIOLENCE! I’m sitting here looking at him off the bike with a flimsy grip a kick stand kick… Then he just dropped the damn bike on the high side. I’m like what in the interwebs is going on here!? He said he was gonna test the drop guards but I wasn’t expecting that. Just like you don’t expect to drop the bike. Bro the bike was like “Hol up! wait a min? Something ain’t right!” I thought we was cool what did I do to you!?” 😂. Man you win! That’s one stunt nobody doing on YT right there!
You win the award for the best comment ever! You made me laugh! Thanks for the feedback!
After watching this video. You inspired me to just get out there and get practicing. Much respect to you
My goal is to encourage riders to take classes AND practice.
Your motivation is contagious will put drop gards on mine
It's definitely worth it! They will allow you to practice with confidence and not worry about the "bike drop".
Cue, love your positive attitude and confidence in the way you laughed (instead of being insulted) at those guys who say the bike is too heavy for you and maybe you should give up riding! 😆 And also great content on giving us the confidence to drop our bike in the parking lot. I always worry about how I'd pick it up if that happened on a ride... Thank you!! P.S. My bike had those drop guards on it when I bought it used. Now I know how valuable and useful they are!
Thanks for the positive feedback! Life is too short to worry about negative people. Good luck with your bike and be sure to practice as much as you can.
@@RidingandWrenching Will do! Thank you sir!
Practicing has become such a look forward to time on the bike. Currently I have 2 different training days written down. I alternate days and tighten up the box(s) as I progress. Fastest 1.5 hours of the day. Usually get 3 in for the week. Even with the heat we are seeing in La.
I agree! I love practicing. My only issue right now is that I don't have a practice bike. I will get one sometime before the end of the year....probably a 2018 or newer Road King or Street Glide
Cue, Road King, only look for a Road King. Trust me on this.
Besides, they call it The King for a reason!!!
Who does that indeed. You. Man, that must have been a bit nerve-racking even if you 'know' it works. Love your channel and vibe. ☮
Thanks for the feedback! I don't have any fear of dropping my bike. I think people spend way too much time making excuses for not practicing. My goal is to obliterate the "bike drop" excuse
Good stuff!! 💪🏽
Awesome stuff.
Wow great video thank you !
Nice my brother. I have to get those drop guards
Yes sir! Get them and then get Kong in the parking lot to practice those u turns!
Awesome! Thanks for the great content!
Thank you!
love it !!!
Fantastic video thanks for sharing!
Thank you!
As always another excellent informative training video !! Thank you!!
Thank you! I hope to inspire other new riders to take training classes and then PRACTICE!!! It makes riding so much more fun!
Impressive riding and love the cue ball shirt😎
Thank you!
That was some great practice! And to see you drop the CVO on purpose! I was biting my nails. Good job! Ride Safe
Thank you sir!
Dang I can't believe you dropped it like that! You are a brave man!!!
Proper precautions take away all anxiety about drops.
That was a great video man thank you. And us ole men can still pick up our bikes as long as you do it right. Love the shirt.😎
Picking up the bike is easy! Actually I think everyone who rides should practice picking up their bike. You never know when you will have to do it by yourself
Great video as always, thanks. God Bless!😇👍
Thank you!
Great video and great shirt! Appreciate the narrative as well.
Thank you!
Beautiful bike!
Thanks for the video.
Thank you!
Another fabulous video my friend!!
I love to hear, 'Practice with Purpose'!!
Of course the very last clip was my favorite!! ❤
I knew you would like that! We need to make another one!
Apparently I'm one of the few that can say it correctly! 😂😂
Man ol man, just hearing that bike drop gave me the feels! 😂. But hey, the drop guards work! And that's why you're the biggest little TH-cam channel on the entire interweb! 😂😂
No part of the bike touched the ground. My goal is to get people to stop fearing bike drops....it's really a cop out for people who are afraid to practice
Outstanding! I have drop guards on my 2020 CVO
Great investment!
Another helpful video. Thanks. The drop guards were the first thing I added to my bike when I got it. Glad I did.
I have them on both of my motorcycles.....and they have many scratches on them!
Great video again thank you Cue
Great video, your a brave man for testing the integrity of the drop guards, keep the vids coming. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
This isn't the first time they have been tested! I've dropped every bike I have owned....this particular drop was intentional
Good video!
Thank you!
Holy crap!!! You weren't kidding when you said you were going to DROP the bike. Haha
Great video!!
There is only one way to test them!!! Drop it like it's hot!
@@RidingandWrenching haha you've got that right. 😂
Great video Cue! I think we both live in TN. I live by one of your Lock and Lean Classmates by Cookeville. Hope we cross paths sometime. Stay safe out there.
I live in Arlington (just outside of Memphis)
Very nice video cue! I like that this is the very first video that I have seen that the practice goes from a tight U-Turn to a wide turn. Never seen that before and I watch lots of videos. Luckily I also practice😂 so I’m going to try that wheel placement. Keep doing what you are doing sir I like seeing the progress
I will be practicing again this weekend. I will set up a few different exercises this time. My goal is to be able to ride through tight patterns on a RG like a can on a SG
That video was extremely informative thank you for that the only other professional rider that is excellent like that is officer Palladino ride like a pro great job gentleman
I'm not a professional, but have had some great instructors. There are lots of options for instruction, I highly recommend that every rider take a class with whomever they feel most comfortable. For me. I will take them all and develop my own style
Outstanding five thumbs up.Tell your critic to produce his video.✊🏿
Critics are only good at typing
Hey Cue love your shirt. Nice set up for practicing…
Thank you! I practice about once a week. Keeps my skills sharp!
I enjoyed your training and tips, I like cone upset, thanks for the tips!
Make sure that you take classes....there are lots of great options: Be The Boss of Your Motorcycle, Lock and Lean and many others. I plan to take more classes and I will review them on my channel.
@@RidingandWrenching have taken three courses
Great video Cue! Digging the new shirt! It took me watching the entire video to figure out why you were wearing a shirt with billards balls. Good idea to rephrase to laying the bike down vs. dropping the bike. Ride safe ride often and keep motovlogging! Glen
Thank you !
Good thing those 'bikes' are too big for you to handle. I think it's safe to say that most people don't practice with the focus on certain things like you do, don't practice enough like you do, and most certainly don't have the confidence in their experience or a big enough pair to push a new CVO over to prove the bike setup. I'd also like to congratulate you on how cleanly you brought that big bike right back up. Helmet off to you sir! I also have a some elder gray in my beard and recognize someone to learn from when I see it. TYVM.
I had to Google TYVM😂
Practice makes you a better rider.
Absolutely
Thanks for taking one for the team!
Yes sir! When will we see you at a Robert Simmons practice session?
@@RidingandWrenching I already had three private lessons over the last two years😇
Great practice Cue. Still not gonna be good enough to beat me in the slow race 🤷 Great ending to the video too 🤣
We shall see my fast riding friend.
Thanks bro
Thank you
That was good.
Thank you! I appreciate the feedback!
Good stuff Cue. I have a set of drop guards as well but haven't put them on any of the bikes yet. I need to paint them black if I put them on the ST. It is a great product without question. Ride safe and enjoy.
Absolutely a great product. They will go on every bike I own.
Good job Cue you have some good slow speed maneuvering skills. I shrilled a little bit seeing that 40k + bike hit the pavement. Good divertissement though.
My goal is to get people over the fear of dropping the bike. There are too many riders that use it as an excuse for not practicing. Set the ego aside, get over the fear of dropping your bike.....take some classes and practice!
I've never seen a more perfect parking lot and you had it all to yourself! How the hell did you arrange that?! LOL
I use the school parking lot normally on the weekend.
Good video sir, thank you.
I like your videos, you don’t drone on and on, or just talk to talk. You words have a purpose. (Must be that military bearing you have)👍🏽
And the nerve of some keyboard warrior to tell another person that their bike is too heavy for them. That they should give up riding.
No true rider is gonna kick down on another one for being honest. That is a person who is either jealous of you and your new CVO, or someone who doesn’t ride anyway. They just want to be negative, it makes them feel better about themselves.
Be safe out there.
My goal is to be respectful of the viewers time. No one wants to watch me ramble....so I try to get to the point quickly. It can be tough, because you want people to watch the entire video....but you also don't want to waste their time! It's a tough balancing act
You Rock, great practice tips thanks. Now, for dropping the bike, impressed. My ‘13 RG-Ultra, for some reason even with the front and rear factory guards it rolls onto the tip of the fairing. 😢
My Street Glide rolled onto its side once. I think I hit the ground pretty hard on that fall.
Nice shirt good job 👍🏿
Thanks bro!
Not the drop! Great skills!
Thank you sir!
I love your riding style Cue
Thank you!
Hey Cue I LIKE THAT SHIRT 🏁😎🏁
Thank you! It was a gift from my brother
Good job brother!! Love the ending!!! Oh where did you get your drop gaurds from? Thank you

Good-Day; Cue, have you seen the New Biker Bar for your motorcycle it does need straps or tie down.
I have seen it on another TH-cam channel (Ride Fit Nation). I'm curious it is compatible with my trailer. I think I'd have to remove the chock to get the biker bar to work.
Great video! You made picking that bike up look so easy ! Is it all in the legs or do you lift some with your arms too?
You are using your legs to walk it up....pushing with your butt while pulling the handlebars and saddlebag guard
Nice shirt
hmmm, no “kick stand down” issues? Did that simply go away? Good videos on your 2023!
Where’d you get the shirt? I am sure the Cue-Nation want to know.
The kick stand down issue has not come back. Im planning to buy one of the magnetic sensor to test it....I have another theory that I want to test
Nice Cue I’m waiting to see a slow ride practice
I need a few friends to help me with that one!
UGH! The opening scene made me almost vomit! HA! Great job.
Thank you sir! We need to go riding someday!
At 00:11 I almost had a heart attack. I'm still trying to get my shiggity together.
😂😂the bike is fine! Not a scratch on it
Nice video practice makes us all better!
I see the old saddle bag guards work I can save a few dollars.
Do the look funny out of place up close?
Harley wants 350 for the new one's I pick up my bike at noon tomorrow.
I think they look fine. The only difference I see is the bulge in the guards to match the bags. Given that I have a set of guards, I would spend the extra money to get a set with the "bulge". I don't think it's necessary
Thanks@@RidingandWrenching
Great video, great skills, like the ending :) My issue practicing is I can't find engine guard protectors, that fit 2 inch diameter. Only 1.25". Big difference. The guards were not cheap, so I don't want to risk damage. Also, I love that shirt and I just found it online....lol 👍
You may be able to use something else like pipe insulation.
@@RidingandWrenching The I largest could find is 1" at Home Depot. I'll try a plumbing supply store. Both my guards come to a point, like a bat wing. I appreciate the suggestion.
Another alternative is fire hose and hose clamps.
Many fire stations will give you old hose. Easy on/off for practice.
My man, you did very well!! I got a Left Below Knee Prosthesis and 30 years experience. You do better than I!! Good for you!! Lost my left leg in 1993 but still ride!! Keep it up my man! 😉
Kudos to you my friend! I'm glad that you're still able to enjoy riding!
Like that shirt!
My brother bought that for me! It's a little big, but it's comfortable
@@RidingandWrenching have you had a chance to check out that book about Buddy Hall?
Hmmmm. I just might do it....
Do it! You got that new bike!
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! That hurt! Cue WTH? Please don't do that again. Mine was 20 grand less than yours 13 years ago. Oh that hurts! I can't believe you did that. Any who, isn't is fun to play with your bike? I have played with mine, and we still do not know our potential. 😎 Cool shirt too!
Thank you! It's been a blast so far!
Great video! is your friction zone far out on the lever? Mine is almost all the way out, not sure if that's how it is or if it can be adjusted. Much appreciated
Not on the CVO. It's about half way. You may need to get your clutch adjusted
@@RidingandWrenching thank you sir for a quick reply.
Great video Cue! Also, where did you get your helmet?
That particular helmet is from BadAss.
Looks good to me. It might be easier to let that bike down from the same side as you picked it up?
I considered just pushing the bike over from the kick stand! The weight being so low on the bikes I don't think it would roll over onto its side....stay tuned....maybe I'll do it again!
Doing it from the right side would not have the tendency to launch you, there is just no way to let the bike down easy from the kick stand side, the reach to the bar is just too far as it lays over. Just a thought...
Great video! But ouch, that was an ugly sound when you dropped it.
Dropping always sounds ugly, but it's not a big deal. There isn't a scratch on my bike. I considered doing multiple takes on the drop because I didn't think this one was dramatic enough
I have the drop guards.. can you please show exact placement of them I have a 22 Road Glide Special. Thank you in advance. I seriously need to practice
I posted some close up pictures on my Facebook Group
facebook.com/groups/239520952275662/?ref=share_group_link
Feel free to join. You don't need to have a CVO to be a member. I will also make another video dedicated to the drop guards. Stay tuned!
Thank you
Brother, you are crazy, I follow you, traveling tall and be the boss of your motorcycle. I will not, I say it again I will not drop my bike because of someone saying some. Hell nah 😂😂😂
It's not a big deal. My goal is to tear down that excuse people make for not practicing. Practicing won't hurt you.....failing to practice will hurt you!
@@RidingandWrenching aye aye brother. Awesome statement.
@@RidingandWrenchingPREACH!!
Dropping that CVO was really hard to watch!
When you take the proper precautions, it's nothing to worry about. I worry more about other drivers....parking lot practice ensures that I know how to protect myself and my bike. A simple drop in a parking lot will not damage my bike.
@@RidingandWrenchingThanks! But still, it was so painful to watch that beautiful bike fall over!
Do you put your body on the high side?
I've observed some riders switching body position to stay on the high side. I don't do that (currently). Unless I am doing switch backs (going from full lock right to full lock left) I don't see an advantage. I try to keep my body upright. I'm not the most experienced slow speed rider, so others may have a more experienced opinion than I do.
Seems like you are doing fantastic to me! I just got the 2024 Road glide and I’m shocked at how easy it was to do slow speed maneuvers and how weight is so evenly distributed! I handle this bike with absolutely no problems at all! I switched from a 21 heritage. thank you for your I put and your videos! Keep up the great work! 👏
That intro… hurt my heart.
It's not that bad! No part of the bike touched the ground. That's the beauty of the drop guards.
Love the shirt too!!!😋
THanks! It was a gift from my brother
