Woo! Gordie Howe bridge! That will simplify my life! Along with my Canadian and American family, and everybody else around this region! I can't wait to drive/bike/skateboard across it!
It'd be interesting to hear how much the UK high speed rail line's costs are after losing all of the free trade from Brexit as compared to if they had remained.
A lot of Chinese developer companies have left half built skyscrapers, high-rise apartment complex abandoned all over the US. China has a lot of abandoned ghost cities as well.
Before and after colonialism India is the same 😂 so stop, India did have a golden age but guess what? All countries did. But overall consistency of success? No India doesn't have that.
Sad how countries with the population of MILLIONS or tens of millions have a gdp Almost as big as India's gdp. "Oh but we have too many people" so does china, USA, Japan, etc... "Oh but we were colonized" so was almost all countries in the world Also India didn't even suffer ww1 and ww2 like east Asia and Europe.
See now, I wouldn't want to hear the words "Experimental" and "Nuclear Reactor" in the same sentence. I'm pretty progressive and maybe the "experimental" part is in finances and not in the "Nuclear Reactor" part. Wording their could be more reassuring.
Sadly, the high speed rail way in California was about to start when Trump became president in 2017, and he then canceled the promised federal funds for it as a punishment for the state not voting for him. It put about 20K people out of work. The idea is for a speed line from SF to LA that would take about 2 hours instead of the 6+ hour drive on I5. A flight takes about an hour and 15 minutes. So having the train would allow a lot more people to travel back and forth between the two large cities.
Don't post False narrative, the Federal Railroad Administration says California has "repeatedly failed to comply" with the agreement and "failed to make reasonable progress on the project." It adds that the state has "abandoned its original vision of a high-speed passenger rail service connecting San Francisco and Los Angeles, which was essential to its applications for FRA grant funding."
Ah yes the project that was “planned” for and had voter approved 10 billion tax payer funds for a 33 billion dollar promise in 2008, said to be finished in 2020 and yet didnt started until 20 fucken 17. Ngl a whole 9 years of failing to even begin before trump was even thought to take office should say more about the project not being ready from the beginning than another “trump bad” moment.
Let's hope these new buildings in Dubai are actually connected to a sewer system.
what are sewers? - dubai engineer, probably
@@Vendrix86No shit?
@SkewtLilbttm oh no. Plenty of shit just nowhere for it to go
Uh, sewer systems were invented in Mesopotamia which I will clarify is the Middle East for low education people like you.
Fun fact: The first official discussion of the California HSR was in 1979 and as of today it has yet to connect any two stations.

I'd estimate about 10% of these will actually see completion.

California's high-speed rail is extremely over budget at $128 billion. Its construction is not even 50% complete and its been almost 2 decades.
There's a huge Don project in Idaho that just started. If you looking for a cheap investment.
Why aren’t dams made out of metal
Colonial mindset never show India's megaprojects
India's biggest projects is probably building sewer systems and toilets 😂
What are India's megaprojects? 😂
Most of your cities are ranked very high on every bad metric.
Start with cleaning the streets and rivers and building sewer systems/toilets 🤢

I saw it. Tragic.
Cali's best governor mishandled the train funds so 64 billion dollars wasted on railroad tracks that go no where
$128 billion

@@ashwin.s4083 when it comes to Trump, certain people with TDS posting false narratives somehow blaming him for everything will always appear sadly.
Let's hope project 9 does not get stopped because of uncle Trump's tariff games with Canada😢. Shame, shame, shame!
Kamala lost, get over it
@@rvt_h3d I did not vote for her, Karen
@@rvt_h3dWhat does that have to do with the lunacy?
First!
Dubai is investing for tourism and a city for the wealthy because they are going to run out of oil and they will need to generate revenue somehow.
