Out of all Steve’s roles over the years, my personal favorite would have to be TOM from Toonami. He gave that character a very cool, easy going feel and introduced me to the world of anime.
TOM from Toonami is also an unlockable gadget in Sly 2: Band of Thieves via cheat code.
I'm so happy Jim often uses my favorite Taz line "What for you bury me in the cold, cold ground?"
Thats my mentor!! ive been waiting for the prof to make an appearance. Steve has shown me so much over the years, how to tackle this biz, how to grow as a man, and how to live in gratitude (something all my mentors have in common) I cant speak highly enough of the Blumvox community, Steve, and team Blumvox. Joining the fam was the single greatest decision ive made as a voice actor. Im grateful!
For me, Tank Dempsey from Call of Duty Zombies is THE voice that I most associate with Steve. Those games were my childhood and I used to quote Tank all the time in school (not the smartest idea considering most of his lines weren’t exactly school appropriate haha). This podcast brought back so many of those great memories 😀 Thanks guys!!!
Same, I associate Steve with that or his role as Wolverine
OORAH!!
Nice. Hondo and Zeb having a friendly chat which is something you don’t see in Star Wars Rebels.
Wolverine, Vincent Valentine, Tom of TOONAMI, Steve Rogers of Big O, Spike of Cowboy Bebop, this is a guy who's done it all.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but he was awarded a Guiness World Record for Most Voice Roles in, I think Animation or just an entire career?
Without a doubt, one of the greatest of all time.
There's no way he's even in the top 30 for most voice roles (keep in mind he only started a few decades ago, and we have people like frank welker and jim) but he is incredible. And everyone you listed has roughly the same voice too, you left out his more creative ones like Starscream and Guilmon. HE really showed his range there. And I didn't even know he was those Guyver monsters!
It was most video game roles, I believe. He definitely broke some kind of record.
@@hissignaturestudios6869 that I would believe.
@@KairuHakubi I think Fred Tatasciore has more overall credits than Steve at this point, not 100% sure if he amassed more video game roles than him though
@@KairuHakubi - Okay, disperse with the doubts and the downplays. There's DEFINITELY way, that he's in the Top 30 at this point in his career. Only started a few decades ago, dude at that point when you reach that, you're a legend.
And I mentioned his most notable roles, the ones that most audiences recognize.
It's not about voice pitch in Voice Acting, it's all in the subtle mannerisms of that character. For instance, you could hear the same voice in Skyrim over and over again, and yet it still strikes you as a different character. Because there are those subtle differences, their dialogue, how they tell them, it's all there is you listen carefully.
"It's meaningful for them to be able to express that little piece of their life." Steve explained it so well. I wish more VAs were like these guys.
Steve Blum... I will always know him for Starscream (Transformers Prime), Garazeb Orellios (Star Wars Rebels), and even some Rebel Soldier voices in the classic Star Wars Battlefront II
Also as the voice of Wolverine, imagine Steve Blum's Wolverine speaking Hugh Jackman's Wolverine rant against Deadpool from Deadpool & Wolverine
My two absolute FAVORITE voice actors together???
Agreed 👍
Both satisfying and swelling FAVORITE voice actors.
Steve is a wonderful human being; one of my favorite Voice Actors of all time! He's got so much wisdom & knowledge; I always love hearing him talk about things! My favorite Steve role was Tank Dempsey on Black Ops Zombies; that was such an iconic character for him to voice! I learn something new about him with each interview he does lol!
Another great episode!!
STEVE IS A HUGE CHILDHOOD LEGEND!! Love him as Green Goblin from The Spectacular Spider-Man, Orochimaru, Zabuza, Vilgax, Heatblast, Ghostfreak, Zeb, Vincent Valentine, Wolverine, Killer Croc, Verstael Besithia, Attila and Electrocutioner!
I forgot he was the green goblin! That was excellent.
I'm just smiling ear to ear just listening to Steve. Thanks guys ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You guys really hit it out of the park with this episode! Cowboy Bebop was one of my first introductions to anime when I was a kid. I would watch it on a CRT. I didn’t understand everything going on since it was for a more mature audience, but I couldn’t help being captivated by the art, action, and music.
I don't think this will be mentioned as I haven't watched the video yet but how I first came to know who Steve Blum was, was from a PlayStation 1 game called Brave fencer Musashi and he played a character called Jon,But knowing he's done songs and work with steve blum is so beautiful.
Jamie from Megas XLR!.Such a criminally underrated show
I remember Jim and Steve working together on the Superhero Squad Show. Steve was Logan (naturally), and Jim was Thanos.
I couldn't click into this video podcast fast enough when I saw it! I love Steve Blum, grew up with him through video games and anime. Keiji Maeda from Samurai Warriors!
Auditioning 7 days a week, even when they are so established like Steve blows my mind.
Orochimaru not being in the thumbnail is a crime
I don't know how many people know how much of a deep cut the " You really gonna do me like that?" line was. 😆
This was a crazy fun episode. Watching Jim and Steve share stories and having fun was an absolute blast
Joining the show today is Lord Starscream
Steve is THE GOAT!!!
My favorite Steve character...Rytlock from the Guild Wars franchise! Love watching these two together!
Steve Blum is a legend!
Steve blum working with logic is awesome. You really can find his voice everywhere now lol
Steve is a legend. Love his portrayal of Zeb in Star Wars Rebels.
Awesome! I’ve loved Steve Blum ever since “Ben 10” first came out and he voiced such characters as Heatblast, Vilgax and Ghostfreak!😊❤️❤️❤️
He’s just amazing in everything he voices from Wolverine, TOM, Zeb, Spike, etc.😊❤❤❤
One of my favorite va’s of all time! 🤩🙌
He also voiced Futo Maki, Sandman, the Tinkle Bug, Cement Larry and Malone Munchak.
Hopefully, Jeff Bennett will be a guest in the future.
Man I have been waiting for this!
This and maybe an episode/episodes with Peter Cullen and Frank Welker, either separate or together they just bounce off of one another so well :P
Wolverine from Marvel like Wolverine and the X-Men, Ultimate Spider-Man, Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H., and Hulk vs. Wolverine.
Allergic to garlic? Soooo he is a vampire. Got it
Oh my Goodness, more work with Logic and you did the audiobook for it?! I'M SO EXCITED! I have the Ultra 85 book. Can't wait to listen to this, too!!
I just started watching samurai Champloo so this is amazing
Man I totally missed that Steve moved to Hawaii. Seems like a nice place to live.
celestine, spike, and vincent valentine. such a iconic and cool talent.
hearing the voice swaps were great.
I cannot imagine anyone else voicing Spike Spiegel. What a sultry voice.
Hey! It's the guy that voiced cyrus from dow2. Neat!
The day has come!!!
Im not a fan of Logic but hearing Steve worked with him i might have to check those 3 albums out
Steve Blum is Amazing Wolverine
My goat TANK DEMPSEY on the podcast, amazing guest
Amon has one of the sexiest voices in fiction.
When Steve Blum opens his mouth, everyone regardless of age turns 14 years old.
Definitive Wolverine!
Abathur himself!
Kuai Liang and Bi Han
Wow, i can't believe they got Joshua Tomar
The Goat
nice, Steve had a super low voice at 12 just like me. It was useful! I still got bullied, but in my circles you got targeted by tiny weak kids if you were a big strong guy. they knew you couldn't fight back.
Kuai Liang and Bi Han or Noob Saibot
It's Vincent Valentine!
10/10
OORAH TANK DEMPSEY!
Winnie the Pooh knows guilting ❤❤❤
Steve became a vampire at 40 huh...
TOM?
And Rioichi Cooper.
@@ChristianFrates1997 And Spike from Cowboy Bebop, and Jamie from MEGAS XLR.

Wolverine Iron man captain america Thor Spider man & Hulk
Darkwing Duck pooh bear tiger Spike speaker & Mr what's up bub wolverine
I know nothing about the business. Why can companies keep secret what product a voice actor will be working on? Why wouldn't Steve know if his voice is being used for Fortnite?
Steve blum voice of wolverines and spike from cowboy beep bop
