No we don't! Crossing into someone else's lane not only sets a bad precedent it could cause an injury.
Do your thing but don't into someone's lane before they get a chance to properly shut it down.
Muhammad Steinberg Stfu
Paul Paul I was thinking the same thing..💪🏾
The final part of the race was competetiveness..what he did was show boat and disrespect ..bet he wouldn't be doing that of Usain bolt was going up against him..there's always someone better so relax
Commentators: “There’s no Room for stuff like this in track & field”
Viewers of Track & Field: “Give us More !!!!”
I Love The Energy !!!!!
If T&F was more like hockey... drop the batons half way through the leg and square off 😆
Not this viewer, makes the dude look like a classless chump.
Fair game, but it tends to tarnish the name for whoever is taunting.
🤲need more of this energy on track and field
Joseph the Great Why does a persons personality have be at the expense of somebody else? You can have a personality and be positive and encouraging, you don’t need to act like a wanna be thug.
In track and field this is considered getting physical cus nobody ever really touches each other. You can get disqualified, so that why they stay in they lanes.
Got physical?! Clickbait!!! not to mention confusion of intensity with physicality let's not paint these young men as uncontrolled entities it's competition I don't like the title of this at all!
@MrSour D the irony lmao
MrSour D No, you’re just crying like you claimed the op was doing. He’s not crying and you are. The irony.
@Michael Tappin pov: you dont have any competitive nature
LSU student-athletes have always been known for their sportsmanship... just like I've always been known for my sarcasm
Gotham City Blues lmao this made me laugh hella hard
Lolllll
Yelling in the loser's face is not sportsmanship, you ever been known as a jackass?
@@c.jachmann1185 *sigh*
Gotham City Blues LSU is most definitely not known for bad sportsman ship, and you are a jackass. He earned the right to boast because he won. To get bragging rights you have to earn them. Y’all mfs act like he lost and bragged m, no he earned that shit
* I thought they were gonna kiss * 😂
Me too
Ishwar Yumnam I think they did

Jaron recently (2024) got sanctioned for doping and accepted the penalty. pretty clear where all that adrenaline and hyperness was coming from.

That's the fastest pace I have ever seen a marathon run
Their faces finishing told you everything you needed to know, and the body rhythm!!!
no diddy
Anybody else looking for the whole race or is it just me ?
Torey Jones the lsu dude was put in a terrible spot by his teammates and he came back and won, that’s why he was so pumped
Alex King I cant find it 😭😭😭
Torey Jones Why are you talking about his race, racist.
They edited the part when he knocked him out for bumping into him like that ... 🤷🏽♂️
In football, that would be a foul for “taunting.”
Love that humility!
0:13 when yo girl actually says where she wants to eat
Azad Alam sorry that day will never come
Nothing physical but an amazing ending to a well ran race.

Oh yeah! 😂 You killed with that comment.
I grew up in Central Texas, and in the mid-90s my club soccer team was champions in the state of Texas at the highest level of youth competitive soccer under 18. Our coach used to tell us to "lose quietly, and to win even quieter."
0:18 BROO WHYYY does every girl do this when someone run into them at a sporting event?💀
dweebs that's all just want attention
Lmao fr tho
ON GOD
they just hella weird bruh idk
I'm sure everyone including myself been on both sides. Boasting or Just playing it cool
Akxnni .Spxxd same
Right man!! Ain't nothing wrong with this. LSU just needs to stay ready because if they lose the next race you know Houston going to be all up in the grill. If it ain't no fight it's all good.
I hope everyone recovered from their injuries
Lol
Lmaooo
Thoughts and prayers
When winning alone isn’t enough for your pumped up ego. Just win and be humble and let the results speak for you. After all, it’s not like you’re changing the world, you’re only running a race. Plenty more people out there faster believe me.
They really got physical here. That was such a brutal beat down.
imo this isn’t clickbait at all, this is honestly like the most physical thing i’ve seen from track and field lol
Lol true
There are lots of unseen when athletes in the longer distances break from their lanes. Elbows and Violence.
FTL i’m guessing there are, but the truth is that it still rarely happens, i’ve personally never really experienced or seen anything go on during my high school seasons. these guys do look older though
The times we live in.... a minor bump after the race- now becomes something a winner has to draw attention too by making him look like the loser.
He tried to trip him at the end ??
its called click bait... i wouldnt have clicked if they didnt have that thumbnail or title
@@malcriadamedina5358 when..tf are u talking bout
Honestly tho. Luckily the Olympics for track are going pretty well that should light us some fire
@@Hensley_Jb its not going well at all... shacarri got suspended... couple of them should have had gold but settled for silver, lyles got bronze... holloway choked

i love it….competition is everything….respect to dude from houston for keeping cool…. But this is the type of thing that will drive him to be that much better
This is the type of thing that will drive him to shoot someone in traffic...
I like the emotion. Other side of this is that we only seen the very end. Maybe Houston had something to say at the start line, who knows.
“Man stay in yo lane” never made more sense than now
Hats off to Houston. I hope he sees all the respect he is getting on this thread. May God bless him.
If you have never been to the Texas Relays or any big meet you won't understand. There is a lot of energy and competition at this level of track and field. To bad the majority of sports fans have forgotten one of the oldest and most exciting sports. I guarantee this race at nationals will be hyped!
Rytam Construction i was running in it today, granted I’m only in high school but it was insane-the level of nerves everyone had were crazy
Track, swimming, and gymnastics is about the same for me. I only fool with it during the Olympics
The Kool-Aid Man tryouts. Oh yeah.
How else does he get to the places at the right time to say his line?
Lol
HAHA
Lmao
OH YEEEEEEAH
I was at the meet, and watched this go DOWN! Great race!!!
If this is what “get physical” means, I’d hate to see what and actual altercation fight would look like

@@rickdav8339 There's a *pill* that can help with that Rick.
A lot of people in the comment section think that the guy from LSU was in the wrong. And I am inclined to agree. But in his defense… we don’t actually know how much back & forth may of been happening at the start of the race. For all we know, maybe it was Houston that actually instigated this whole scenario. But clearly this doesn’t fully excuse his behavior and LSU needs to work on better controlling himself and the way he reacts to these situations. Winning the race is the most important thing and you shouldn’t be petty when you’ve beaten your opponent. It’s bad sportsmanship, obviously. People like him just need to rest easy knowing that they beat their opponent on the scoreboard. That should be enough…
WRONG !!!!!!!!!!
U. H. ATHLETE cool the whole time !
NO animosity showing !! L👀KED FREAKSHOW in the eyes , went on !!
@@terryherrera5252 You're wrong the year before Houston pointed directly towards him
Don't usually see that type of gamesmanship in track and field. Those two must have history.
I think ol boy probably was talking shit on the gram or some
LSU nd houston have history
The biggest fight i have seen in my life.
When you find out your tax return is bigger than what you expect.
Funny
That just means you overpaid your taxes through out the year.
FACTS LMFAOO
Let’s be honest...we’ve all seen worse things on a preschool jungle gym😂
This is just sports world competition. Relax🤷🏾♂️
A lot of people who actually do track don’t mind this energy, keep it if/when you lose tho🤷🏾♂️
Before I saw the clip I was oulling for LSU. After I viewed the clip I pulled for Houston. The manner in which the Houston athlete carried himself is commenable. Hats off to Houston!!!!
When try putting track on the map as a “contact sport”
Nothing wrong with that energy.. it’s competitive sports and most likely, both squads were wolfing at each other during the build up to the race...
But let’s take a second to Salute Unc(with the Texas sweater) for grabbed LSU and calmed him down, then getting in Houston ear to lift him up. It happened fast but all athletes- No matter how fly you are- respects this dude, on site, and knows he’s comes with nothing but good intent
Some people would never understand that he was probably fighting his inner demons he lost many failed many times at his craft and finally his getting the breakthrough he deserves of overcoming himself
Bro watch tennis.. And see how GRACEFULLY a true winner acts when they win. Being a sore winner is worse than being a sore loser.
typical lsu sportsmanship
Much respect for the Houston guy keeping it lowkey!
