Yes you are right, Never, Never, talk stuff in the beginning of the season, some people probably haven't even started working on their speed work. The only way you get faster is when you start practicing to run faster, so all that talk in the beginning don't mean nothing because you want to peak at the right time and right now is not the time. Just wait until the NCAA finals then we will know.

Remember there are two sides to a story so don't judge based off of this. Most importantly There was No altercation Just a guy pumped up because he beat a rival or someone who was talking shit prior. A lot of people in the comment section think that the guy from LSU was in the wrong. And I am inclined to agree. But in his defense… we don’t actually know how much back & forth may of been happening at the start of the race. For all we know, maybe it was Houston that actually instigated this whole scenario. But clearly this doesn’t fully excuse his behavior and LSU needs to work on better controlling himself and the way he reacts to these situations. Winning the race is the most important thing and you shouldn’t be petty when you’ve beaten your opponent. It’s bad sportsmanship, obviously. People like him just need to rest easy knowing that they beat their opponent on the scoreboard. That should be enough…
