I am getting a hard time to choose between ra joy 1, ar joy 2 and max - I didnt quite understand the difference between them, and also, for me the most important, the real time translation to foreign languages… can anyone help me on these?
I tried out the nreal (now xreal) glasses a while back. Love the idea of them, but they weren't that good. These look like they've solved the problems nreal had!
I've tried both the Xreal and Rokid AR glasses. Both are pretty nice, Xreal has a slight edge for me since the arms can adjust allowing for a better viewing angle. Rokid however has the built-in vision adjustment... if only there was a pair of AR glasses that incorporated both...
Because if it was plugged into the right earpiece in the back, the water would dangle dangle down next to your right side and I can hold it in my my right hand, but like you said it’s on the other side so now that the wire is either gonna go around your back to get in your hand or around your front to get your right hand and be inconvenient and in the way, which is uncomfortable to most some of us don’t like things just dangling across our all laps
Awesome informative vid! Thanks for making this! Wish there was more time spent on the usage with Samsung Dex! Asides from using Windows for work, I've been using Dex as my personal computer for months now, but I don't like always going to my desk and hooking up to monitors, I wish I could sit do some large screen computing from anywhere on Dex and not necessarily the living room TV, I know Dex wireless plus large TV is nice but Dex plus Rokid seems like the future for me!
I got this yesterday.. hopefully i can return it back.. The blurry edges and pain on the side of the head above the ears still there.. Plus its quite hot when it touches on your forehead. I will stick with my gaming monitor again.. Still not the time to buy any AR glasses.
I love my Rokid Max w. The Rokid Station ( I wear glasses ) I use the Rokid station the most. It's fun Looking fwd to the nxt version so I can place it in space. It's a great multi tasking tool Would also love a digital battery display w. a number percentage display~
Hi, congratulations on the video, I wanted to ask you which app I can use to play the ps5 remotely with my rokid and smartphone, instead of using the official sony app
Hi, thank you for this review, i was wondering of you could plug those glasses straight to a desktop computer graphic card with an HDMI to USB-C adapter ? Will this work ?
I don't trust Rokid tbh. I have the first gen Max, and there is not enough space around the 'display' so some corners are blurry. Reading text is uncomfortable. The worst part is that on any moving transport, they make me feel really nauseous.
Thanks for the comment! Sorry to hear you experienced nausea while on transport. After using the glasses on a plane for over an hour, I didn't have any nausea or other negative responses. Also, the corners are soft on all AR glasses I've tested, and I reference this in the video at 11:44, though I was able to account for that in my workflow. You are right, though - these aren't a like-for-like swap out for an external display. They are superior in terms of portability and privacy, but that brings its own set of trade offs. For me, the compromise was worth it, especially when flying and around the house. Hope that added helpful context! Have a great day - Basil
I removed the nose piece so it sits directly on my bridge. This has given me the full view but does get warm after bit so I might add silicon nose spacers. Heard the Max 2 has better fit.
I kinda wish that they put the connector on the right side of the glasses because I don’t want to hold it in my left hand when I’m right handed I shouldn’t have to have a wire coming around me just to control it with my right arm. It’s gonna make it feel uncomfortable there I’m right handed not left-handedso this was catered to left-handed people in a way.

Are you saying that I could use Rokid AR without my prescription glasses to watch movies etc?
Depending on your prescription, yes :)
@@tech_edit Awesome! Thanks!
Have you tried the rokid max 2? Because they are not out yet.

Have they resolved the DRM issues on the station?

Could you watch 3D BluRays if you connect the glasses to a PS4?
I have the rokid max and it's like it was designed to fit children nose, does this fix that?

i bet that galaxy fold has got 3ds emulator id love to know if the glasses give the 3ds games the 3d effect

This is awesome on the iPhone 15 MagSafe charging while Xbox cloud gaming with a ps5 controller
I'm disappointed to hear about Edge Blur. Guess I'll need to give up on any hope of modern AR glasses for productivity.
Have you heard or tried Viture?
for the price, it seems Metaquest would be a better investment.
Can it transcribe for deaf/hard of hearing by using Live Transcribe app?
@@ashdri4105 if your Android phone plugged into the Max 2 supports it, yes. Not from the Rokid Station unless the app supports subtitles.
Until some glasses have an interpupillary distance adjustment, there will be no good image quality.

You have to have Wi-Fi. I can't use them on the go.
