Kohima played really good. But I hope this year the whole nagaland team bring some medal in all the games. We do well in our state but when we play outside we can't handle pressure.
Because out here at Kohima we can see basketball ring hoop everywhere in every colony road and sometimes we feel pity for those car nearby and it distracted the passerby however, they're doing great in this game in Nagaland. Kohima is known for basketball in Nagaland
Every sports infrastructure is in kohima or either in sovima so Kohima outperforming new district, Niuland which doesn't have a single infrastructure related to sports is not even worth appreciating. If Nagaland Govt. is not biased surely new district will take over in the coming Olympics
Kohima doesn't have a single govt basket court. All basket courts are attached to schools and colleges and every tribe plays in them and not just Kohima citizens or Angamis.
There was just one public basketball court(in local ground) and that too, destroyed (upgrading to a football stadium). The only courts that are available to us are village courts, school courts etc. Finding a court to play is hard for anyone here, but getting a chance to play is even harder😂
If you're taking about team Niuland than yes, there may be worthy young players out there to take the place of some of the players on the roster. But team Kohima? Nah. They're at their prime at the moment and all we can do is cherish their presence and learn from them as much as we can♥️🙌
