That is why my Great Karaoke Music channel is not receiving any monetization. I am just creating/designing videos for people to enjoy singing karaoke songs with clear and original instrumental music and made a nice-looking and synchronized animated lyrics. I have just edited some of these music to make it clean, clear, louder and even removed some hisses. Back to your question as to whether or not you will receive copyright, if you will be using any instrumental music of my videos for your own cover, for sure, you will receive a copyright claim from the original instrumental music owner and you cannot monetize your cover videos but TH-cam does not give you a copyright strike against your channel. If you are creating cover videos that you can also monetize, it's better to make your own instrumental music because most of the backing tracks found in TH-cam are copyrighted by the rightful owners. You can use my videos and its music and make your covers but you cannot monetize it just like me.
