In April or May 2023 the Hurricane Ridge visitor center burned to the ground. The area is currently being cleaned up. Be sure to check for most current information.
First disclaimer- I am not a technically minded person so I simply use a handheld GoPro. For “higher” scenes”, like driving, I have a longer stick and hold it out the moon roof. Builds arm muscle. 😁 It shoots so well in 4k. Let me know if you have any other questions!
Deer Park is not closed from spring to fall as you note. It is closed from fall to spring. 5:43 is your mistake. Plus Sasquatch kills like half the visitors that come out here, Glad you got in and out safely, most don't :-)

There are a few wider spots that you need to watch for where two cars can eek by each other. Basically, one party has to back up to one of those spots. It’s not too bad with limited vehicles up there. ✌️

If the road is 1.5 cars wide, what do u do when a car comes in the opposite direction 😮
