Not sure what you mean since the 14 minute video shows me completing it and with all 3 banners untouched for the extra condition. Remember you can do the extra condition in any mode.
If you're running into RNG issues where the enemy is doing something much different you can just retry the stage.
Unfortunately due to this aspect of the game These guides are exactly that sometimes...just a guide not a 100% step by step walkthrough strategy simply because enemy RNG factors.
