For all of yall saying its a pointless and dangerous waste of money: sometimes you don't need a point. Sometimes its more fun if its more dangerous, like motorcycles. The point is, let people have their fun. If its not the vehicle for you, move on!
Motorcycles can go off-road and carry two people due which are in some places used as taxis while costing far less to buy and operate. These are the main reasons why motorcycles are very popular as everyday drivers to work in Asia and Africa where people generally don't have the money for big fuel-guzzling SUVs, 3 wheelers in this video and most of the others on other hand are just toys for people with too much money but make no sense buying them for rest of us regardless of better safety...
Nice, concise evaluation, with great videography! Completely agree about styling of Polaris - designed by 10 - year - old's. Really liked the Morgan, but don't think I'd purchase a vehicle with the engine at the very front - seems like a bad idea.
They seem to be very popular with one particular ethnic group. They like to put lights all over them and play hip-hop-rap as loud as possible as they sit at traffic lights.
I was riding down the interstate last week and coming beside me and passing me was the Paloris thing. It cracked me up when I told my wife the dude looks like he is traveling in a bathtub. The rest of the week we kept seeing these bathtub things and cracking up. I am sure they are fun to rude in but do they come with soap?
looking for something with a sealed cab. i want to be out of the wind. and with air conditioning, a single seat with the steering column centered and some space to my left and right to place small items. also needs some stuff going on in the dash like gps hookup and radio
You don't have to be broke or a hater to buy these. These aren't considered pricey or expensive. Most people have common sense and that's why a lot would never purchase a tricycle such as these.
Sorry but I'd rather buy a convertible with 4 wheels and it includes a top. My old 92 Mercedes 500SL would run rings around these death traps and for a fraction of t he money. ;)
No it wouldn't. The 500SL has a 0-60 time of about 6 seconds. The Polaris will beat that by almost second (5.2 seconds). The Vanderhall will beat it by a second and a half. They'll also out brake you (because they don't weigh anything). Not sure about performance on the skid pad for cornering, but they're both fairly impressive there too.
An old 500SL has the same lateral g value as a Polaris Slingshot. And it's heaver and it has a worse power to weight ratio. The vanderhall corners and accelerates better than the slingshot. You're comparing a sports car to what are essentially stripped down track vehicles. The track vehicles will hold their own. Where the 500SL wins is year-round and all-weather use, generally practicality, and crash safety.
These are annoying, drivers do not wear helmets nor seat belts around here, the music blasting irritatingly loud. Imo they shouldn't be legal to have on the road!!
A Detroit Lion drives one of these around my hood. Looks weird. I wouldn't get in one or on a motorcycle. Won't get in driverless car either. I'd rather buy a 🐴 horsey and a trailer..
I wouldn’t say the Slingshot looks “cartoonish”. The same way someone shouldn’t say the other two 3-wheelers look like they were brought here from the 1900’s.. They’re simply different styles.
Some people’s brains are underpowered for their weight as well. The slingshot, however, is 1700 pounds and 170 hp. With a 10-1 hp to weight ratio. Very respectable indeed putting it up there with many 450 hp cars.

Both the Polaris and Vanderhall have viable safety cages. While they aren't as safe as a car, they are far safer than a motorcycle.
Totally agree.
What I don't understand is, why can't we have cheaper vehicles? I would buy it if it was cheaper.
Motorcycles have a point. They avoid traffic and have much better maneuverability in exchange for a cars level of safety.
Agree
People who complain about their prone to accidents forgot that these three wheelers are way safer than the motorcycles.
The pro's is that you wont fall. But you lose the twisties fun factor that is more than worth.

Well it is technically considered a motorcycle
Motorcycles are pretty safe on regulated roads if you’re not being reckless. I can’t imagine predicting when this thing will slide out.
Love them all. Probably the slingshot for me. 😁
And what happens in a crash
These aren't futuristic lady. They're oversized motorized tricycles
I liked the first one the best. If I ever win the lotto I'll be purchasing it...
Unless you do all of your own maintenance, the proximity to a dealer or certified repair site is very important.
I love slingshot for the price
Imagine a 1950s hovercraft concept car. Now add two wheels in the rear and make the front one appear invisible. I can see this fashionable.
Problem with EVERY 3-wheeler... can't dodge a bump so you gunna hit EACH & EVERY one.

I saw that one on the road yesterday it really was pretty amazing.
They seem to be very popular with one particular ethnic group. They like to put lights all over them and play hip-hop-rap as loud as possible as they sit at traffic lights.
My favorite one is the red and black one

No t-Rex smh 🤦🏽♂️
Short and sweet. Nice video
Great review, but too short.
I got 30,000 reason this won't sell
Is it highway approved
The Little I Know yes! dude had one in town w plates they're bad ass!
If I got extra bag, I'll buy the slingshot.
That Morgan....ohhhh yeahhh
looking for something with a sealed cab. i want to be out of the wind. and with air conditioning, a single seat with the steering column centered and some space to my left and right to place small items. also needs some stuff going on in the dash like gps hookup and radio
The sling shot
The Vander hall is Ideal for long cruises... Umm better check the weather..
cool expensive unpractical toys
Should only be legal as an off-road recreational vehicle
“Hopefully far from anyone who could identify you” 😂😂
I see the slingshots and similar vehicles everywhere where in Tampa
Smell some hating broke folk on these comments. Lol

the slingshot EWWW WTF the glitter ruined it completly
Polaris Slingshot ✌🏻
Just don't straddle that big pothole!
I haven't seen a new slingshot for 20k anywhere in Houston lol dealer mark up like 24k
How many 3 wheelers cars in 🇺🇸?
$ 80000.00 😳
Only for millionaires
Is it chargeable
I want one!
I beg to differ, I love the way to slingshot looks so futuristic and modern.
😬
lets try driving 3wheelers in highspeed near a cliff😁
Sorry but I'd rather buy a convertible with 4 wheels and it includes a top. My old 92 Mercedes 500SL would run rings around these death traps and for a fraction of t he money. ;)
If you think the 500Sl is the same sort of driving experience as a 3w you are badly missing the point!
In fairness he said run 'rings around' ie cornering in which the SL will be much faster than the Polaris

3 wheel lightweights trash their rear tyre in any really hard track use and in the wet the lack of contact patch makes for real problems.
These are annoying, drivers do not wear helmets nor seat belts around here, the music blasting irritatingly loud. Imo they shouldn't be legal to have on the road!!
Ive been seeing that red one alot around my local area. And Im not exactly in a rich location. Pretty cool.
Whats the mpg on this things
A Detroit Lion drives one of these around my hood. Looks weird.

⬅️Got it..✌️

All are underpowered for their weights...
not really

Oh boy! It's 2001 again!!!
Top gear did it
Definitely worthwhile for stability...a hell of a lot moreso & safer then two wheels eh.
What happens when it rains
Use umbrella 😂
You get wet
Junk
Cool? Yeah. The latest? No
The cars are so awesome
I wouldn't even classify these things as "cars."
This is a 1993 Toyota supra
Amazing
Toy cars for under age.
And over aged
Gasoline, not cool. Go electric
The Vanderhall is also making the Edison. It's the same body as the Venice, but with an all electric powertrain.
Maybe VW will build their even dune buggy. 😁
I think she's got Cold, 🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧
Mantaaab bodynyaaa ...mantap harganyaaa.....juos gandhioooz hahaha.....😎😅😆
Tuktuk seems better than these.
😁😁😁
Price please
Super
I always wonder these were called - I see a lot of retiree-age people driving them around.
Broke ass haters in the comments don't get it. I smell your envy.
You wish. Some of us are simply smarter & know how to use our brains.
Probably waist
