2016 in NY for only a few days managed to get Rush Tickets to see Colour Purple with Heather Headley - always loved her voice - this show was stirring, inspiring and I recall clearly how I felt. Moved the crowd to their tiptoes with a minimal stage props, and outstanding performances by the cast.
Is the lady in blue from the show the Orange is the New black? I didn't know she can sing! I think the lady in the purple flower dress is in the Clark Sisters biopic.
