I have one question about creating mock-up for round objects like mugs, candles, tumblers etc... Ive noticed the mock-up images look very Flat, they stand out from the mock up. Can it be curved or wrapped around so it will look more natural? This feature stopped me from signing up. looking forward for the update.
So Simply Listed doesn't have any smart mockup features like photoshop so the best way to make them more realistic looking is to use the cut out mockups that have shadows on the mockups already like they sell tumbler mockups for example that have a "shine" that gets put on top of the image for example! But it may not be a perfect replacement for every scenario, it's really meant to automate the mockups you would already be creating in Canva!
Hey Cassiy! I've had an Etsy shop since 2015, but used it for something completely different. I'm now "changing gears" and I'm brand new to POD. I just subscribed to your channel and Simply Listed, but I'm fairly confused lol. Do I create my own mockups and then bring them into your program, or are there mockups in your program? That's probably a really stupid question, but I'm serious when I tell you I'm brand new. I've been watching videos for a couple of weeks and have designed a few things, but haven't released many in my shop yet. I'm trying to figure this all out, so please pardon me if I ask questions that are obvious, lol. It's very nice to meet you and thank you for your videos!
Not a dumb question at all, so sorry if I don't cover that enough in my videos but I'm excited for you to get started with POD and Simply lIsted! You will need to buy your own mockups, I get all of mine off of either Etsy or Creativefabrica.com
Question! When the software uploads the mockups for me I am getting a resolution warning through Etsy. When I upload the same ones my self (same ones I always use), I am fine. Have you found a fix for this? Otherwise seems pretty easy once you get the hang of it, thank you!
Hi Amber sorry you are getting that error! For some reason Etsy is giving this error only sometimes with SL and even sometimes when other users are uploading their own images/using Pritnify mockups as well. We have verified that the quality of the images is above what they are stating. For some users it just goes away after awhile, other users will zoom in/out on the thumbnail and save it and that will make the error go away or some users have gone into their listings where you edit, they will right click on the main image, save it again and reupload it and that makes the error go away as well. So I don't think it's anything to worry about but we are waiting for a response from Etsy because obviously it's wrong!
