Omg.. I discovered this song like, last summer or so and I listened to it non-stop and this is this first time I've actually noticed it as a clarinet... And I play clarinet in my school band..
+Bailey Jordan it's actually really weirs because ever since I heard this song I've been identifying the clarinet in songs all the time now, like in old movies or that new Comcast commercial (I also play clarinet)

From Middle school to high school, all of you were some of the sweetest people I had the honor to grow up with. Super cool seeing this video grow so much over the years since release. I came back to tell y’all I miss you and I heard it playing at Cheesecake Factory the other night while eating dinner and made me miss the days of when we were all young Baraboobians. All the best! Really wish you all would link back up and make another album or 10. What you all had together was extremely special!

I'm waiting for her to do a collab with either Lion Babe or Foxygen, both of which might break my heart or soul... oh well, if you dig Phox, check out Foxygen, Delta Spirit and Horse Thief, they're all great neuvofolk indie darlings, go see Horse Thief if you dig them, dude gives out free hugs after the show, but he sweats like a waterfall, so watch how dry your clothes are if you want them to stay that way....

Literally one of my favorite bands
I saw this band in Phoenix Arizona in March 2014 and I got to meet her after the show. I asked for an autograph and I told her that it's going to be great telling people that I knew them before they were big. It was an incredible show.

Regardless of what one's opinion is on the quality of this song, it's pretty clear that this video will have several million views in the near future. Surprising that this band hasn't blown up yet.
Just came back from seeing their show at the 9:30 Club in DC a few hours ago (February 12, 2015). Seeing them live confirmed everything I could only initially glean from recordings and broadcasts: they are a group of fantastically talented musicians whose energy and passion really filled the space. Their recreation of the NPR Tiny Desk Concert was a real joy. Besides the clear musical talent among the band members, Monica's powerhouse vocals and genuinely sweet and funny banter with the audience gave a brief window into her writing process and really sealed the deal for me. Great live show. Hope to see you around DC again, Phox!

This band is great in concert, the lead singer especially. She has a great vocal range which lends such depth to their performance as a group. Purchased both their CD's while they were on on tour with The Head and the Heart in December.
This band is so amazing. She is soooo amazingly beautiful and her voice is fantastic. The music brings me to my happy place and combining with the notes of her voice... ah, all is extraordinary. I love them, so much!

Saw this group in north Bennington Vt., when they were returning from Newport Festival. fell in love with them. Told everyone I knew to keep an eye on them because they were great. Hope to see them again soon in person, they are that good!
