If watched people learn from Lowell for nearly 40 years now. If you have the dedication to learn to paint it will happen. He is this good through practice. With his tutorials you will get there faster if you practice.

That was so beautiful thanks
You are welcome. Glad you liked it!
Wow! Lowell, I have a painting you did of Vase of Carnations; dark teal background and vase, 3 pink carnations & 2 white. I found it at a used book store in Grande Ronde, OR a year or so ago. It looks like you painted it in '93. I couldnt believe it when I found this presentation.
Wow! That is great that you have his painting. Is there writing on the stretcher bar? I might be able to tell you more about the painting.
Best master of teaching techniques for painting flowers..❤
BRAVO , very nice 💯 ,👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you for your kind words.
I just painted my kopie of your art. I'm totally beginner in acryl and I was able to paint a plicture that satisfied my level. I think acryl us a little bit more sticky as oil and it looks like you can blend oil colors better. The leaves where not so easy as it look when you do it. Many many thanks for this outstanding painting lesson.
You are very welcome. We are glad you enjoyed it and painted along!
Always incredible! Looks so easy. Thank you!
You are welcome. Glad you enjoyed it.
Do dnia dzisiejszego namalowałam wiele obrazów różnymi technikami (suszarką rozlewane ,sznurkiem ,szpachelka) i ciągle to przeżywam.
❤ this! Beautiful! Thanks

Amazing video, I really want to paint along with some of these floral videos. I think I will some different brushes because these look different from the ones Bill usually uses. I wonder if I could paint the flowers with a fan brush?
Thank you. You can paint flowers with a fan brush however you will get a different outcome. Here is a link to this brush in our store. store.alexanderart.com/collections/brushes/products/alexander-large-sable-brush

Can you imagine that there are genuine people who think that AI generated pictures are as much art as this painting here.
Like Ben Stahl said, do it the hard and traditional way. You can't have such charisma and depth in a painting, otherwise.
The canvas was white, but before He painted with black?
Buona sera, maestro sarebbe possibile mettere un po più luce? Grazie
Was there some kind of audio filtering done with this? All the sounds of the brush strokes are completely muted it seems as though some kind of filter or noise reduction was done to the original audio, and I’m not in favor of it. I like hearing the sounds of the brush against the pallet or canvas. Could you confirm this?
We like to hear the brushstrokes also. The only time we change the audio is if there is something like a background noise that would prevent us posting the video. If other sounds get removed as well we apologize.
Blessings in an abundance of the faith. I salute you. 😘🙏Grace and peace be unto you and to this place. God bless you. Thank you. 😊Will you believe and receive Jesus Christ as your LORD and personal saviour??? I do. 😊
He doesn't say what paint he uses . is it oill or acrylic
Bill used oil paint. Thanks for asking and thanks for watching.
Who actually runs this channel? It isn't Bill. He passed away long ago.
Laurie Anderson. Not to be confused with the famous artist (aka Lou Reed's wife).
@@thekidfromiowa Thank you. I have no idea who Lou Reed or his wife are.
@atlantic_love
"Laura Phillips "Laurie" Anderson (born June 5, 1947) is an American avant-garde artist, musician and filmmaker whose work spans performance art, pop music, and multimedia projects. Initially trained in violin and sculpting, Anderson pursued a variety of performance art projects in New York during the 1970s, focusing particularly on language, technology, and visual imagery. She achieved unexpected commercial success when her song "O Superman" reached number two on the UK singles chart in 1981."
"Lewis Allan Reed (March 2, 1942 - October 27, 2013) was an American musician and songwriter. He was the guitarist, singer, and principal songwriter for the rock band The Velvet Underground and had a solo career that spanned five decades. Although not commercially successful during its existence, the Velvet Underground became regarded as one of the most influential bands in the history of underground and alternative rock music. Reed's distinctive deadpan voice, poetic and transgressive lyrics, and experimental guitar playing were trademarks throughout his long career."

Anyway it's a different Laurie Anderson who runs the channel.
My name is Laurie Anderson. I worked with Bill Alexander for 11 years. Before he passed away he charged me with keeping what he started, alive. Alexander Art is my company and we filmed and still own the content that was produced for PBS from 1986-1994, which includes many of the shows you see here. I’m passionate about keeping Bill’s dream alive of teaching the world to paint and have made it one of my life missions to do.
@@AAlexanderArt It's a shame that other people took the fame for themselves. Something they have Bill Alexander to thank for. But never appreciated it.
Bill was a real artist.
His style of painting is still used today by others to make money. Without Bill Alexander these people would be nothing.
You are using acrylic paint
Lowell is using oil paint.
Once apon a time "god was 1'" how is it god robs itself?
Your painting is lovely, technique is perfect, but you don't know plants. I would suggest you study the flower and its leaves before you paint them
It is important to have a good understanding of your subject matter.
@@AAlexanderArtYes, and those are NOT poppies
