I've got this on right now same colour, just got in. Excellent jacket but pocket does leak it actually ends up like an inch deep in real bad weather but the water never gets through to me! Really good review.
It's worth noting the instructions that come with the jacket say the inside pocket is designed for a map (and it does take a UK OS map) whereas the external pocket is just that. If you understand the way the jacket works, then it will make sense that anything in the outside pocket will get wet but anything on the inside shouldn't!

This jacket is built to last.... Trust me its rock solid.. But the napoleon pocket becomes a puddle in heavy rain... Design flaw as no pump liner in that area...

I have a alta 1 my parents bought me in 1997 and it's still a beast of a jacket. Great jackets if you look after them.
You can't beat the old school paramo jackets..... Definitely built to last and much more durable... Plus they look really retro cool now...

This is a good jacket,but dont keep anything in large chest pocket as it leaks.
you dont get wet through but pocket puddles.
Like paramo even more now after that little story about the nun housing at risked wommen and children. I'm goin to look at paramo today.
