I worked the old version for 5yrs. DECORBOND Particleboard.... methinks about 90 lbs/sheet. Tough job, requiring inspection of finish on both sides, prior to loading. EPIC2 was the programming then. I am a dinosaur.
It’s good practice for 2 reasons. Grained directional material and plastic industry utilizes about 90% nominal cutting sizes for minimum drop, so sometimes there is no more than a dusting off the front and back.

No need to hammer the boards straight just trim the back edge

Dont hammer the flywood it cause missalignment the reference guide or the clamping.
The Pusher will adjust to proper cut position after it clamps. It has dual encoder measuring system and always knows where it is.
