Really enjoyable episode as always.When it blows in the Mediterranean it is rarely without anger. Your channel is by far the most entertaining one as you show life just as it is on a boat. You picked a great spot in that bay with lots of sea room and space to work with. Marina fees there are crazy! ❤

Would love to know how the solar panel came off. We were thinking of doing the same on ours but now I’m wondering how to secure them for 40+kn sustained
We glued our zips on with fabric glue as our canvas person didn’t have a sturdy enough machine to sew the zips onto the thicker plastic on the edging of the panels, so definitely see if you can sew it on or even use Velcro or zips but around the entire edging so the wind can’t get up underneath any of the area’s.
So at 8:50 on the video why was every boat headed the opposite direction from where you were sailing? They were going towards the 5 meter waves? Or did they have a destination of a protected harbor?
Hahah valid question. I think there was a little regatta happening that day but I’m assuming they would’ve been heading into bonifacio into the port/marina after. Or potentially back to Sardinia, maybe just doing a race loop. Sardinia is only a couple of hours sail from Corsica 😯

We think it’s ok, even though it’s damaged it still works so that’s good news 😌 we could only use one insurance company our first year or two and decided to change companies. To be honest we haven’t heard great from most of the insurance companies but we really only have two choices unfortunately
