  • Episode 10 covers our Veggie Garden - this is the same plot of land as Episode 1! You see a lot of things growing here like chillies, bananas, lemongrass, Italian basil and more. A total of 26 items in this video, watch out for them all.
    We hope you enjoy this little virtual tour!
    #WhatsGrowing is a mini-series where we take you on a virtual tour around Aanandaa. We show you what is growing, how it is growing, and what we are harvesting.
    The benefit of this series is that all of you can see what is growing at Aanandaa during one specific month. The more videos we make, the more detailed our documentation will be!
    If you like this video and want to see more content like this, please do drop a comment letting us know so we can plan out some more videos for everyone!
    Thanks for stopping by, stay safe xx

    it is better to prune the fruit trees from the day one they planted.it helps us to control the size and increases the yield.

    Superb Manisha . As always your views as very simple and so insightful . I’ve a question on pruning of fruit trees. What most farmer so it they prune the plants especially mango and don’t let them grow beyond 7 to 8 feet’s but grows them broader to increase branches . Have you seen any increase in productivity by dwarfing the fruit tree ?

    • @farmaanandaa
      @farmaanandaa  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We do not dwarf our trees. But we do trim the mangoes to let the sun in, allow for air circulation and cut criss crossing branches. That always helps in increasing the productivity.

    Hello, thank you for sharing your experiences... very motivating.
    Do you have a lot of snails on the farm. Do they tend to be overly destructive (eating leaved vegetables or young shoots/saplings)? Any natural mechanisms to control them?

    • @farmaanandaa
      @farmaanandaa  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We don't have snails, but the best way to keep them in check is to have ducks. Try to introduce some ducks on your property.
