Asian Kung Fu Generation has always been always nostalgic for me since I started listening to them during my darkest time. You did their original song justice with this arrangement--especially by taking notice of the distinctive guitar and drumming themes.
I loved this anime but when he woke up at the end... that girl he saved first (Thumbnail) she went out with his friend instead and had a baby... I was extremely pissed
The manga shows that Kayo actually was waiting for him, she'd spend all of her free time after school in the hospital and she was neglecting her social life as well as extra curriculars because she just felt comfortable waiting for Satoru. Satoru's mom got concerned noticing this and she had him moved away to another hospital that was far away so that Kayo could finally move on and live her life.. I was sad too but after I learnt this info it alleviated the sadness.
Even i can see your feelings through the way you play the piano and the way you press the keys. This is by far one of the best covers of Re:Re: i have ever seen and heard. Good Job :)

you know this type of song is hard because you need to be sorrowful and speedy at the same time. You did play sorrowfully, but I think this version lacked proper speed and power.

ok then Beware, I will spoil from the current episode. The person who goes to the bus in the cliff hanger is the killer, however he doesnt see the girl, only puts a box of items he will use to kill his next victims (rope, charcoal and boots) items used to remove evidence and frame someone else. The mother doesnt call the police so it makes her look like a bad mother, so boy and his mum take the girl to the abusive women along with social service. The little girl's grandma comes. It is revealed that her grandma made her mum divorce her abusive husband that she had to wear bandages all over. So thats why she takes it out on her daughter. The girl goes into the grandmas care with the help of the teacher. The boy still doesnt travel forward in time so he knows he still has to prevent some things. Such as the girl from the nearby school and his friend that looks like a girl who was killed to trick the police into thinking the killer mistaked him for a boy and then frame the loner older guy with planes by hiding homosexual books in his room. He makes friends with the girl from the different school but it was difficult because first time his mum popped out the groccery store, then sensei gave them a lift. Sensei's front cartridge infront the passenger seat has loads of lolipops. Its because sensei has a secret sugar addiction. Mum takes lolipop too xD. Now that he has saved three, the killer is probably pissed off so they are looking for the next vicitm. Someone who is a loner, yes the bratty girl from class acused of stealing. So the boy follows her to the ice rink. She then goes to the toilet and walks out. He thinks someone gnabbed her in a truck. Sensei comes (perfect timing) they both chase the truck. Sensei acknowledges the boy, hes happy. He open the catridge for lolipop but there are loads of laxatives instead. Used in the girls food so she would purposely go to the toilet. To check if the boy would go too. Sensei reveals that the boy is his enemy. hes curious how he knew the victims he was going to pick and how everytime it was prevented. He suspects hes from the future. Sensei is the killler and his past is horrendous. When sensei was a little kid, he used to help his older brother who was a teen, to lure little girls into the shed so his brother could molest them. It was also his job to learn how to pick them up and make sure they wouldnt tell anyone after. His brother accidently killed a girl by suffocation so she wouldnt make a noise. Sensei read a book about forensics and killed his brother making it look like a suicide because he killed a little girl. When sensei gets older he becomes a teacher and lures girls into abandoned place. He also killed his Psychologist fiancee because she suspected him of killing a girl( a different one) by asking for his alibi that day. Sensei locks the car with the boy and places a basketball at the accelerator, drowning the boy who falls in a come for 13 years. He wakes up from carrot state and he tries to regain his memories. His friend visits him who have over the years fun raised money for his medical bills because he was a hero to them. and his mum is the best, looked after him every day ect. The first girl saved brings her baby who is married to the boy who looks like a girl, Airi comes to the hospital who doesn't even know the boy but it triggers memories of the boy. Then he goes into a coma again for a year. Currently in the manga. A little girl with leukemia is targeted by the killer again.
Well you finally made a cover of this! You can really feel the mood change between genres with this cover, but you still manage to capture the spirit of the original somehow. Thank you for this, Ishter. And now we suffer together for next week's episode... >_>
God dammit. This cover was so good, and I was thinking to myself, "I hope he doesn't get that one chord wrong," but lo and behold, you did. Come on, dude, you're so fucking good, but why do you have to do this to me, man? At 1:16, that straight up B-chord should be an A/B, as in an A major chord with a B as the base note. It just gives that moment in the song this transcendent feel, as if it's going to gloriously explode back into E major, and when it goes back down to the G# minor instead, it just takes that energy and prolongs it, channeling it into the next progression until finally you get that explosion a few seconds later that then ends in that sweet and quiet final E major chord at the very end. But when you use just a regular B chord in that transition, it just really feels like it's missing something.
Simple explanation: I like the ED so much more than the OP. The OP is ok, but not "gotta make it absolutely perfect" song. I'm not even going to re-analyze and see the wrong chord I made. Now the ending theme, that's gonna be the pièce de résistance.
Warning, Spoiler if you press read more: The teacher entered the bus where kayo is and threw a bag. The bag was filled with the things that was suppose to kill kayo. Kayo was hiding behind some boxes and hid perfectly. Later on the series, satoru met the teacher and ask for a ride in his car. The teacher was not driving in his car but instead a stolen one. The teacher talks about how satoru kept destroying his plans and told him "...as if you're from the future". He then lock satorus seatbelt and drove the car into the lake while satoru is still inside.

Well you finally made a cover of this! You can really feel the mood change between genres with this cover, but you still manage to capture the spirit of the original somehow. Thank you for this, Ishter.

God dammit. This cover was so good, and I was thinking to myself, "I hope he doesn't get that one chord wrong," but lo and behold, you did. Come on, dude, you're so fucking good, but why do you have to do this to me, man? At 1:16, that straight up B-chord should be an A/B, as in an A major chord with a B as the base note. It just gives that moment in the song this transcendent feel, as if it's going to gloriously explode back into E major, and when it goes back down to the G# minor instead, it just takes that energy and prolongs it, channeling it into the next progression until finally you get that explosion a few seconds later that then ends in that sweet and quiet final E major chord at the very end. But when you use just a regular B chord in that transition, it just really feels like it's missing something.
Simple explanation: I like the ED so much more than the OP. The OP is ok, but not "gotta make it absolutely perfect" song. I'm not even going to re-analyze and see the wrong chord I made.
Now the ending theme, that's gonna be the pièce de résistance.
Really? I like the OP way better, so maybe that's why it bothers me so much.

The teacher entered the bus where kayo is and threw a bag. The bag was filled with the things that was suppose to kill kayo. Kayo was hiding behind some boxes and hid perfectly.
Later on the series, satoru met the teacher and ask for a ride in his car. The teacher was not driving in his car but instead a stolen one. The teacher talks about how satoru kept destroying his plans and told him "...as if you're from the future". He then lock satorus seatbelt and drove the car into the lake while satoru is still inside.
