PAPERMAN - Music Video

Hello everyone, MT here with my 2019 music video called ‘Paperman’, simply the name of the music soundtrack this video is themed on.
This was the second part of the main project at Barnsley College, which to create a short music video with a little story behind it, the first thing my team and I needed to do was find a music soundtrack that was short enough, lyrics that give a meaning of a story and that was entertaining to listen. The director of the project got this soundtrack called ‘Paperman’, music piece that was created by a group of students at Barnsley College and was free to use without any issues on copyright. When we got our soundtrack, we began filming the story of our music vid which was to be about a happy student drawing his own superhero naming him Paperman until a bully student walks into the room and wrecking the drawing. When he was feeling glum about his ruin drawing, his imaginary hero appears before him, surprising the happy student. Paperman then trains happy student up to be ready to take on the bully and when the time came, it all went down the drain for happy student, better luck next time.
All the camera work was again with Canon 700D’s but no needed to use the sound equipment for this side of the production. The editing was again a real deal considering there was little time left before I had to submit it, I worked all day for more than three days to get it over and done with.
