- Hello my friends! Life is going forward after the divorce and I so want to keep sharing this new journey of mine!
I just got back from the conference in TN so bear with me...lots to talk about! But one thing for sure is MANY people really wanted me to continue my Starry Sermons and sharing my testimony!
You know without Jesus this whole life change would have been so much more painful...I think I would have not recovered as I am!
So for those inquiring minds..I will be making more videos sharing my life..my struggles..and my knowledge!
Lots more videos..CANT always promise that they will be what you want..BUT I can promise they will be real!
Since coming back just a day or so ago I HAD to grab the camera since I was immedianlty faced with a difficult situation!
Frustration...questions...you know..our MIND and thoughts and flesh CAN get the best of us

But how many ti mes have we c ome acrsoss a simple favor from someone in our lives..to be turned and then either Used against us..complained about..strings attached..or a pity party of OH WOO is me....I did this for you..and look at me..I deserve SUCH great fan fair!

We cant control how people will ACT..can WE?
BUT we can control how WE act..how we respond!!

I too, but I fell out with God in the mid 90's and completely in the late 90's when my wife passed on, through the hideous M S.
She went to church every weekend and did lots to help people, she also prayed for people who weren't very nice.
THANK YOU! I'm a paraplegic that requires help almost everyday, so I am in this situation very often, you are the first person that has Biblically addressed it, thank you so much. I really believe that God spoke to me through you.
That is so beautiful! I am sorry you are going through this. But the LORD provides day by day. His grace is sufficient. Life is hard sometimes, and so many are being overwhelmed. I pray you are held in His arms, strengthened daily by His Word, and the Holy Spirit, and covered by the merits of Christ's blood shed on the cross. Thank you for your testimony. God bless you!
My mother always said if you promise to do something for someone, keep your word. Because you might need that person some day. I try to keep my word.

I loved hearing you talk about seeing someone else the way God sees them. I have prayed that on a few occasions. When I do this it helps me think about the situation from a different perspective. Empathy replaces feelings of anger and resentment. The right perspective brings us closer to our Creator. Good stuff. Thanks Starry.

Amen! I have been studying faith, and steadfast, immoveable, enduring, constant, unshakeable are some of the words for the faith Christ is trying to fill us with to make it through what's ahead! We need Him more than we know.
I can relate to everything you have said Starry. As a nurse I found this happen to me more than I would like to tell you. We do learn and grow from every situation we encounter. I now am retired from nursing due to so many health issues. I am so sorry you lost your items but hopefully they will come back to you. I have learned so much from you. Happy Mother’s Day.
I got a card from my dog written by my husband but nothing from my kids. It’s makes me sad but nothing I can do to change this. So many disappointments in life. God is the only one that will not let us down as his love for each of us is unconditional.

I love you Starry! I am going through some very difficult times as most of us are. I listened to a lecture recently that said, " The first thing God does to people he likes is to make their lives miserable to help them purify their souls." How true. So, Thanks be to God for all our trials and tribulations to help us grow in Holiness!

I have been one of those people who said i would do something but then grumbled inwardly. I want to help but then stress about it. I needed to wisely make my decision and then be positive. You are right. Allow God to teach me. No matter what. Love you Starry.

I'm in God's Anger Management Program right now. First he healed my anxiety which was half my issue. Now it's day to day situational management. Things are going way better and people at work have noticed the changes. Learning to walk away from things you have no control over is half the battle. Being one who is on top of things and keeping things in check, I find it hard to be out of control of a situation. Onward and upward. Keep looking up....( =
IT is hard..your not alone..we are all under managment!!!! But you have the right attitude and you acknowlge it!! yeaaaaaaaaaa
Amen. Starry you will be ok, continue walking with our Lord. Your advice comes from Biblical understanding. We never always know what to do, why is this happening and confusion tries to destroy us coming from Satan's evil attack. BUT GOD'S LOVE AND HIS GRACE IS SUFFICENT. TRUST IN HIS WORD AND SPIRATUAL WISDOM. God's Will not ours. We just mess it up if we walk in the flesh.

Awe Starry once again you have hit the nail on the head in my life. This weekend I failed miserably in this situation and woke up at 4 this morning to pray about it. I really felt "played". Don't do me a favor then make me pay for it...over and over again. When I didn't ask for the favor to begin with. Now a lot of damage has been done. To myself and to my relationship with someone I share my kids with and my life with. I went against everything I believed in that moment of anger. I know I'm probably not giving enough details to even make sense. Please know you have encouraged me as you always do. Thank you. God bless

Oh, Starry, your message has blessed me this morning. I learned something yesterday, not being sure exactly about the facts, and I almost called the person to confront her, with kindness but still she wouldn’t take it well. Thankfully, I paused to think and realized there was a possibility of ruining a relationship. Learning to think before I speak was a long time coming since people in my family said whatever came in their heads. Like you said, when The Holy Spirit dwells within we aren’t on our own, let God do His work. We don’t have to judge another’s actions just keep asking for His guidance. I am so happy that I didn’t cause a rift in our family by being willful. Let go and let God. Love to you my sister in Christ.

To choose to have joy- even when it is so very hard to find. Give your worries and heartaches to the Father who created heaven and earth and He will never let you down.

God is Good and always on time and if we would all Stop thinking that we are by ourselves and alone and Start remembering that he is always with us. Great lesson! It's hard to feel gracious when these things happen. It's also very reassuring to look back and see how the Lord works through us during those times, knowing that it would be impossible to have such a forgiving heart all on our own. Thanks for sharing!
Our heavenly father never wrote me off and I always remember what it says in Ephesians 6 our battle is not against flesh and blood but principalities of this world thank you for sharing

The very people i have done the most for in the past,are the ones when i was in desperate need either ignored me or grumbled about helping.Bitterness sprang up in my heart.Bottom line,we are responsible for our hearts and how we respond.I have learned i have to put limits up with certain people,some are selfish and users,but still love

Thank you Starry for bringing this Word to us this morning. It could not have come at a more needed time. I received a text this morning from a friend that caused me great hurt several years ago. We haven't spoken in two years and now she wants to get together. I was unsure what to do. And then I turned on your video and it was like God was speaking to me through the Word He gave you. Starry I have been in your shoes its not fun but like you said we have to step back and take a deep breath and go on, I really love you because along with God you give me the faith to keep going I have been working hard to finish my homestead. We have to go to our Lord and the holy spirit for strength to go on and not judge or get upset about how people act.
I have found in my like that the sooner I turn to God the less back peddling I have to do. It is a great lesson to get conqured. That way the next time gets easier. Thanks for sharing

Thank you for speaking up. Thank you for taking the time to post these videos that preach the Truth. We need more of these. This world is so unaccustomed to hearing Truth. I'm sure you will get a lot of nay-sayers and rude comments, but keep speaking out for the Lord. He sees you. He knows your heart and your intentions. That is all that matters. And isn't it comforting? Praying for you often.
God uses anyone to accomplish his will in our lives. Glad you recognize the teachable moment he had for you.

Thank you Starry!! Once again God answers my prayer for an explanation as to why I got blown off by someone that committed to help out and at the last minute blew it off like it was insignificant! Now I'm disabled and have to make certain arrangements for transportation, not to mention I'm in a power-chair and on three liters of oxygen. But your devotional today helped me to look at it in a different light! You really should become a preacher, our Church could use someone like you! Its hard when we depend on others..and SAD when no one is there..I JUST wrote an article on Pateron about that..the importance of helping others...the value and signifcance it has on people. LOOK at how people helped ,me...BUT it goes both ways..We need to step uup...I wil pray that God brings you what you need

I so needed to hear this today!! Thank you for everything you are doing to show God to me. My neighbour has been driving me mad, always loud and noisy and no consideration for others. I was going to try to get the strength to confront him, knowing that he wouldnt really care, and would probably cause an argument. I decide today to pray and ask God to lead me on the righteous path. I know he is faithful and will take care of my needs, I just need to ask him. Thank you Starry. I am studying the bible and learning so much from you .Jo xx
Nieghbors..oh we can be so seduced into going down that road...remember the fool advice.."A fool is someone who is unwise, lacks sense, and lacks judgement. Fools don’t want to learn the truth. They laugh at the truth and turn their eyes away from the truth. Fools are wise in their own eyes failing to take in wisdom and advice, which will be their downfall. They suppress the truth by their unrighteousness.We may have good intentions..but remind yourself who you are dealing with I now step away and just allow God to work it for me...amazing what He can do when we just turn it over!
It just occurred to me that maybe that person has something going on in their life that you don’t know about. Perhaps there is something hard going on for them.
So crucial to stay in His Word. 👍 This life can be rough and I'm thankful for my Father's love and guidance. Yes, troubles naturally come to all, and Jesus, in the book of John, tells his followers they will be hated and persecuted by the world. But God neither places burdens on people nor does He like to be blamed for doing so (Jer. 23). He also doesn't bring temptations to sin (James 1). That said, troubles are opportunities to grow in maturity as we trust and follow our Lord.
I've been through that too many times in my life to get so mad about it any more. I just consider the source, forgive and get on with it. Now trusting that person from then on, no. Trust and forgiveness are two different things.
Glad your back and I'm sorry for the hardships!. I hope you receive back your fannypack with every thing in place. That's great scripture for the situation. Proverbs 14:17 a man of quick temper acts foolishly , but a man of discretion is patient. Proverbs 15:1 a soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Proverbs 15:18 a hot-tempered man stirs up strife, but he who is slow to anger quiets contention. Proverbs 18:2 a fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion. ♡♡♡
@Starry: So nice to see your face & listen to your talk. I've lost a bag before at the Dallas/Ft.Worth airport. Thought for sure it was gone, but there still is a great many people in this world. Communication between airport employees gets lost. Come to find out though they did have a Lost & Found Dept. It's just a small office tucked away but lots of stuff! That's where I found my bag. Hi Starry, it is a hard situation, very good sermon about been more compassionate, more understanding of others and more patient. Yes it happens, but I think a lot is because of the time we are living. It is written because wickedness abounds the love of the many will grow cold (in the last days) so pray that your love never waxes cold. Thank you for it is not our job. This is the second time I’ve heard this just this morning. Yep! Ambassador of The Kingdom of Yah! Fill me with grace and not condemnation. What a prayer! Ditto! In Jesus’s name! Thanks Starry!

So encouraged by your faithful walk sister in a way,it makes a person look back at his/her life and the choices made that were not so great.Bridges burned as you put it.All i had seen were fires in my rear view mirror of peoples faces and times of toil and trouble when i wasn't walking in faith.Sometimes those fires are only friends we thought we had,but it also included jobs,living near to family members etc.Some of those decisions took their toll on our own children.
I'm so glad that i turned back to the Lord God,backsliding was hard not just on my faith but was hard on my family as well.Only Jesus carried me/us through all of that and i look back now and thank God for loving me enough to want me back,even though i went back to that pig pen,i had to learn,and those lessons hurt many.Thank God for he is always faithful,and I'm glad Starry for your walk,you are such a good example to us,God bless you.

So thankful for your good words, that you listen to our Father, that you share with us, thank you, thank you, thank you! Praise God for His Word; Paul says in 2 Timothy 3:16, 17 , All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. Amen....so good a reminder to always pause, go to the Lord in prayer, then look to His breathed Word, His loving letter to us, to take His yoke, and give up ours. I, too, write my prayers quite often. It is easier for me to stay focused & to more fully & clearly articulate my thoughts. I write not only my thoughts, but what I hear from the Holy Spirit. It’s great to have this all in writing so that I can look back on it, in reflection, clarification & remembrance.

So many people today only help someone out with expectations of what they will get back in turn. When I help, it is for God with no expectation to be paid back by that person... God will pay me back in other ways 💘
I very rarely ask for help anymore, I just do what I can when I can. When I'm asked to help I usually say No unless I really can/want to make it a priority. As a chronically ill person, I face this all the time.

I totally agree!! You did help me there!! God has shown me to lean on him with my husband’s ways!! Exactly that he agrees to do it but only on his time.. Never thinking about I need help being disabled before you procrastinate for a week Then I say nothing and go do it and hurt my self more Then I’m in trouble for doing it As I’m reminded again he said he would do it.. yet he doesn’t think that your waiting on him so you can get to the next thing that has to Be done Just 2 weeks ago!! I learned this very thing saying anything to him is nothing but asking for a very uncalled for screaming match Asking God what to do get the heavy bad of dog food to feed the dogs as he’s at work and they are hungry!! God gives me the strength and takes the pain from me to take care of the dogs!! It’s hard too not get mad upset blow up cry etc As we are all humans Way we do things is not the way others do I’m a person that stands by my word if I’m not there I’m in the hospital or dead because I said I would so I do!! So many say it yet never think about it again It’s like they solved the problem then made it a bigger problem in the end!! Thank you 🙏🏻 You just reinforced what I’ve been learning in my Bible Studies with how I’m being just as bad as him by even asking him again or why he didn’t etc. I love to listen to the Holy Spirit run straight thru you!!
