- Over the years, being in radio, I've gotten pretty good at knowing how to best utilize various social media platforms... so I thought I would share some tips with you. This episode of 'Verified' focuses on Twitter. Enjoy! Hopefully you learn a thing or two!!

Definitely taught something I wish I'd known starting out on Twitter. Honestly. I wish someone just make a guide for each major social media and explain how everything works, little tips n tricks, and then show us how to grow on that platform.

But u got one part wrong I feel the need with a bit of a fanbase to mention, so you can correct it in the future: Spielberg doesn’t retweet... like ever... cuz he’s not even on twitter or this celebirdie parrot who’s a gangsta rapper but happens to be a big fan of his films, would have already... and not shut up about it. 😉 But some of these tips will be helpful.
Any tips on getting verification or how to get twitter’s attention about it? We’re doing some great things over on #BirbTwitter (highlighting rescues, pet care advice & product reviews, and of course the awesome adorable pet content peeps like!) Some of us over there need to be verified already. Like Alex the Honk, Marlene McCohen, Parrot Playhouse and various rescues... and of course Tupeck the Celebirdie Rapping Parrot cuz he’s 🔥 (check out his Eminem Kamikaze album review that went viral).

Hey Mike, I’m a radio presenter in the UK trying to get verified. Any tips on how I can now the applications have stopped?
No idea. I got verified on Twitter before you could even submit applications! I just went about it the good old fashioned way... but building that fanbase on there, then one day I woke up to a blue check. That's what I would recommend. Just focus on growing your Twitter, and the verification will come!

It's not easy to get verified, Twitter verify only celebs or famous bloggers.
There are so many people on the internet right now that it's easier to become a celeb than to get out of the bed in the morning
