►How to make a classic piggy bank! Just cut out all the templates and glue it all together. If you don't have a bandsaw, a jigsaw or coping saw would work fine. Get creative with the painting too.

Nice project Steve! I need one of those without the hole in the bottom. Also, I love pigs...they taste good. lol
Got to do two of these for grand daughters, Have one assembled and ready for paint. Per wife, I will be doing a few more...I must be on a friends and family plan of some sort.
Great little project Steve. Just made a bank for the wife out of cedar to look like a rustic cabin. The rubber plug is all I had to buy. Keep the vids coming.
Really nice project Steve. These would make great gifts for new babies.
It's nice to see you've invited the BeHoovers to watch. I spent a Christmas with them one year. I just felt compelled to...
i watch you in my 5th period class everyday. my teacher loves your videos. she loves your giant wood. come see her in north liberty iowa
Very nice jog as usual, something short and simple so you can go shopping with the wife before Christmas.
Kids have to learn to save money early. Great idea, as usual. Thanks for sharing!
Very cool. I like this one a lot.
Great project Steve! My grand kids will love it.
managed with my crap printer to scale it down to 75%so thanks again for your site and projects I get a lot of joy out of watching your site and ideas of my own
I love your shows. I cant wait to get a place where I can start doing woodworking.
Hi Steve, you are right on this being a fun project especially with the kids. I did all the machine work of course but the assembly and painting was up to my little woodworker. Thanks for the plans and for sharing so much.
OOhhh ya, let's leave the big words alone for right now..... it confuses the other kids. Thanks man.
Derek
Nice one Steve. I will need an 8x4 sheet to make one of these. My daughter is at University and it will need to be big to help her with fees LOL.
Thanks Steve and my very best regards.
David
Awesome project. Can't wait to build a few for the grandchildren.
That is so hard to make
Where are all the paint haters? Nice project Steve.
It's a nice pig.You really are a genius,man.I'll keep follow you.
Hey Steve, I slightly changed this design by making the ears all one piece on the piggy's head, instead of separately. So much easier and looks great.
Super cute project!
Looks great my grandfather made something similar for me when I was a kid, for the tail he used an old telephone cord. If you can get your hands on one it may make your pigs tail pop out a little more. Love the projects you do made a few myself. Keep up the great work.
i just checked your channel 5 min ago, i liked it so much !!!
Very nice and fun job, thanks Steve.
So adorable!
thanks for all your advices, they are value for money
Great project. Thanks again Steve!
Nice paint job too
Good Job on the piggy bank. I had a Cpt in the Army who always said it would Behoove you. Now I see what he was talking about pigs feet.
GREAT GIFT IDEA! Thank you!
Hey Steve--I did these two project Ideas for the kids, two separate Christmases--Treasure Chest box with skull head applique and dome top; train table (made mine from melanine) great work, good luck!
Thanks for all the time you put into making this a good year. Looking forward to your next project. I wish you and your family a very marry christmas and a safe and a healthy new years.
Now... I absolutely need a bandsaw!
I like this project and I think my 5 year old daughter will like it. I'm going to try using a pipe cleaner for the tail. I've only recently found your channel, but I've seen enough to know people like to say "I dislike the music on your video." Just wanted you to know I liked the music.
Wow perfect timing. This is great and I going to make one tonight Thanks
WWMM at its best!!!! Super Steve! Love it :)

Very good! I really enjoyed this project. I built one of these! Thanks for posting!
Best idea ever!
Paint the pig green. Then make some birds and paint them red, yellow, blue, black, white and green. Put some sling shots, crates and eggs, too.
Now that would make an ultimate child's gift!

Absolutely adorable!
I now want bacon :)

I might actually build this one. Have you tested that grommet with the weight of actual coins in the bank?
Ah, the Dearly Behooved of Subscription.
Like this!
just built one for my wife and she loves it thanks Steve for the plans would have been if the pattern could be cut out of a 6 inch wide board any chance of scaling down please
Great project ... looks like my new grandson will be getting one of these!
BTW ... what happened to the moustache? Not used to clean-shaven Steve!
Muy creativo..
I made this piggy bank and it turned out great, but I'm having trouble finding the plastic closure plug at any of the hardware stores and home centers in my area. Can you help? Need suggestions.
sick brah
Steve,
Help! I do not see a link to plans in the description. Am I missing it?
Hi steve nice little project!! What brand is your spindle sander and where did you purchase it at?? Thanks for your great video and your time!!
Good video. But I'm just wondering how much spray lacquer you use, you use it for every project!
Do u think I could do this on a scroll saw I don't have a very small blade for my bandsaw??i like this I think I will try it
hi,It may be a silly question, but after you used the drillpress to make the nostrils how do you sand them so fine,im a beginner so please tell me the tool, thanks,
Steve, What was the thickness of the boards you used? You may have stated it, but I missed it.
Cool
I love how you said both "Now I can get started on the pig's face" and "Now I can start to glue the head on". It sounds like something torturous you would say to someone which sounds pretty freaking funny "I'm going to glue your head on man" or "I'm going to glue your face on man" lol!!!!
Nice project Steve! What happend to the Dr.House look?
Hey nice been watching some of your other videos im brand new to wood working can u give me any advice on buying a table saw money is not a problem but just dont wont to throw it away thanks
What size is the plastic for the hole to keep the change in the piggy bank? What is size of the drill bit that you used?
Perfect pig music
