im actually concerned that dnb's demise will be like meldub's one because it seems as if dnb is majority of the community's favorite atm just like meldub used to be
To be fair, dnb has been one of the best genres this year with really good songs such as Giants, Murderer, and Hold On. There isn't as much bias with meldub songs like before compared to 2019 but it's still noticeable. People will literally put your standard meldub song at the top of each month for the sake of meldub. That being said, there are still some meldub songs that deserve the praise (Ex: Sunlight). Overall, I think the community love for dnb at the moment is more reasonable than the love for melodic dubstep.
