- I bought in with just some extra greens ($25 chips) and reds ($5 chips) .. I had a total of about $150 to start with .. the plan was to bet $10 and win $50 ? Well .. this blackjack session at El Cortez in downtown Las Vegas didn't quite turn out that way!

This is exactly how you play cause that’s how you’re playing.
It's a continuous shuffler. Casino has a bigger house edge because they keep all the little cards in circulation.
Automatic shuffler & Continuous shuffler are 2 different things.

If you’re gonna play the side bets be consistent. Doesn’t matter what your betting on the hand the side bets are a different play all together you left a lot of money on the table on side bets you didn’t play.

I just had some random chips left over from Texas Hold Em… wanted to play a few hands off camera.. decided to put up camera lol
I like going against the book to change up the shoe also, but one thing I never recommend is HITTING when the dealer shows a bust card because you’re double-screwing yourself- not only do you risk busting, but you could be taking the dealers bust card away. I much rather make other wrong moves like staying, splitting or doubling because at least you won’t bust! ;)
When and how do you know exactly when to change the shoe up?
I hit 12 v dealer 4 often btw
@@playthingsracing88 the pro card counters will say to always play basic strategy.. but if you’re going to change the shoes, do it when you’re on a losing streak
You realize this makes no difference? Gamblers don't understand when a shoe is optimal or not. This is why myths such as changing the cards or shoe, are simple gamblers myth.
Playing perfect basic strategy gives you the best chance and is the staple for any level or a player. To not follow it means you're going against the best odds. This will in the long run cost you more money.

Gotta be honest, usually love your videos but this session of you just “having fun” was super cringe and hard to watch. If that’s how you decided to play you should just walk outside of the casino and hand your money to a homeless person who will for sure put that money to better use than you on this day. It definitely was not fun.
