Maine is so much cheaper and the fun is no cost. 4th lowest crime state, no traffic, friendly people. Plenty of wildlife and clean water, fresh air here! 😁

Those heat pumps are expensive to run Andy
Where I live, the local Houlton water company power provider says the opposite due to the cheapest juice from a co op not for profit. I have electric heat in office and with three computers, LED digital sign ride out front.. less than $600 a year. And that rate went down three times last winter.. not for profit and smart grid purchases of the flow of electrons happens in small rural common sense Maine. 😀 Lowest property taxes here.. under $1300 for all this.
...a lotta of home. My only concern would be the owner of the land between the house and lake...
Friendly people, less population is what Maine is. Have 11 people per square mile in the 4th lowest crime state. Not sure what there is to worry about and we all try to get along. Small Maine towns are like one big family. On the same bleachers hollering "Go Southern Aroostook Warriors" sport team. Everyone wears the power of purple.
