Absolutely magical, a great dynamic performer and guitarist, one of my all time favourites. I have most of his albums, ballads, rockers, country, and easy listening, A beautiful man and singer, very inspiring and captivating. Wish there was a good documentary on him, Thanks for the upload.
Another total gem from Jerry Reed. I really appreciate the time and effort people take to put these clips on TH-cam. They are like finding treasure. By the way does anyone have Jerry Reed performing guitar man on a show with a very smily guitar player in the background? There was a video on TH-cam but the channel was taken down.
I Feel For You - Jerry REED Just to see you there cryin' boy brings to mine All the things I've told you one time I told you she'd hurt you and leave more regret And more heartache than you would ever forget So sit there and cry boy the way that I did one time And wish you could die boy to get that woman off of your mind Go on and fall all to pieces boy the way that she made me do I know what you're goin' through and I feel for you When you took her from me you've thought you'd found The woman to fill your whole world around I'd tried to tell you but you couldn't see She'd leave you for someone the way she did me So sit there and cry boy the way that I did one time And wish you could die boy to get that woman off of your mind Go on and fall all to pieces son the way that she made me do I know what you're goin' through and I feel for you Yes I know what you're goin' through and I feel for you
The Duke was mentioned in the current ELVIS movie and Elvis performed Guitar Man from the "68 Come back show in the movie. Are things interconnected or what?
Guitar Man was a Reed song recorded in 1967. When Elvis recorded his take, he wanted Reed's guitar energy. The guitarist wasn't meeting Elvis's needs so they called Reed in to do his own guitar part
Never fully appreciated Jerry until long after he was gone. One of the best guitarists in our time.
Many people think of Jerry as the happy go lucky funny man, but he was a seriously accomplished musician. One of the best ❤️
One of the all time best in my opinion.
What a Guitar player love him!!

Another Jerry gem. Brilliance.
A one man band, was Jerry Reed...and that voice...mesmerizing!
Jerry Reed's art will be featured extensively in Heaven, if there is such a place. Divine!
The comments are all men effusively professing their love for this absolute class act. Myself included. I've been Reed-pilled.
Great video… I do believe that the guitar Jerry's playing is one of his very first Baldwin acoustic-electric, isn't it ? Thanks for sharing this.
Baldwin 800c. Same model the pickup from Willie Nelson’s Trigger came from too.
Charley Crockett brought me here. This is pure gold. 🏆🐊☎️⚡

I Feel For You - Jerry REED
Just to see you there cryin' boy brings to mine
All the things I've told you one time
I told you she'd hurt you and leave more regret
And more heartache than you would ever forget
So sit there and cry boy the way that I did one time
And wish you could die boy to get that woman off of your mind
Go on and fall all to pieces boy the way that she made me do
I know what you're goin' through and I feel for you
When you took her from me you've thought you'd found
The woman to fill your whole world around
I'd tried to tell you but you couldn't see
She'd leave you for someone the way she did me
So sit there and cry boy the way that I did one time
And wish you could die boy to get that woman off of your mind
Go on and fall all to pieces son the way that she made me do
I know what you're goin' through and I feel for you
Yes I know what you're goin' through and I feel for you
Legend

@@kadeberrier3799 Thanks for that info. Cheers
a man to man song about a man's feelings for another man who had feelings for a woman that hurt both men. a little convoluted
Could be wrong, sounds like a D tuning...
