I live in Seattle and have access to lots of high tech tooling. My first thought was "where are you getting this high tech gadgetry?" Then I saw they are made by hand. These look very professional and modern. It's amazing what a craftsman can create in a small workshop. Great work sir!
In the high tech world this could probably just be molded, maybe from metallized plastic, or metallized after. A high-tech one would be FLAT. (Fresnel mirror). This is a disco ball! Sort of. I want one! That kettle is well enough, but I'm thinking it really should be a Samovar.... Just dedicate the thing to boiling water all day. It's probably hard to really cook on it, and you always need hot water. Imagine a nice cafe, a tea shop... with a few of these in front. Solar Tea and coffee! Can he make a little one for Turkish Coffee?
It's so uplifting and sad at the same time. Watching normal Afghani people, living in a normal town, doing some regular cool stuff. No war. No tanks. No ruined houses. No extremists of either kind. Just... normality. I wish you peace. All of you.
