Toni is simply amazing. So much talent and energy is such a small package. Hard to believe she was 40 when "Mickey" charted! And look at her now. She's 13 years older than me and looks 15 years younger!
Right on, Bill.
Fantastic, Toni! I love that Tarantino was smart enough to get the real deal to coach his actors. Now we just need a LOCKERS BIOPIC!
Oh, man. Please someone make that happen.
This lady is a Firecracker beyond belief! Absolutely GREAT!
If you haven't seen the T.A.M.I. Show, it is an amazing time capsule of performers in 1964. From James Brown to The Rolling Stones all the way to Jan and Dean. Huge variety. Plus Toni and the dancers are working behind many of the acts. Just a blast to see.
Awesome! I have it on DVD.
Awesome!! Love Toni. That scene with Elvis!!! Priceless
Yeah, Toni was something; still gotta give it up for Ann-Margret. To move like that in those stilettos, is a thing of wonder and beauty.
At 70 shes still a beauty
She's a living legend!...
I am so proud of you Toni! You have always proved to the world that age is only a number. Thank you for being so true to yourself and a continuing inspiration
What an icon...Toni looks better than a lot of 20 year olds!
Awesome...a true legend and talent! They forgot the part about helping to invent music videos..
FIgures. She's so much.
I love Davy Jones. I love The Monkees and I cried when Davy died so suddenly. I never knew that was Toni Basil in Head. Wow.
That was/is a great little portrait. It achieves the showbiz goal of leaving the audience wanting more.
She kept it moving.
💥💥👊🏻💪🏻💃
Amazing! Toni single handledly took over each version of dance 💃🏻 throughout the years!
Shes so pretty
I remember “Hey Mickey” from my childhood but never payed too much attention. She was 39 then (& 80’s makeup). Seeing her from the 1960’s... she was gorgeous! Seeing her now closing in on 80, she’s goddamn beautiful!
Man Toni ages like italian wine.
77 and killin!❤
Everyone will marvel at her ageless beauty. But if you listen to her, you'd never guess you were listening to someone who is turning 77 this year. She not only looks young, she sounds like someone half her age.
Man, that Playboy Mansion scene in Once Upon A Time...is perfect , looks like a teeny bopper video shot at that time.
I watch and re-watch it, really captures the time and feel. Thanks big time Toni!
Toni Basil,,,is an amazing woman..a whole long, long life of amazing,..
Toni Basil is ENORME!
Toni, I just ADORE you. I have been obsessed with you recently and every single new thing you do and release on this channel is just a revelation
I've had "The Night" from Rockula on my main playlist for three years now! She's an American treasure!
S. Michael Simms I’m Canadian! Lol she’s an international treasure!
Isn't 'Breakaway' amazing?!
Classy, classy lady! I use to love to watch her popping and locking on the soul train!!!!!
This is a true WONDER WOMAN still 5 + decades later still going beautifully strong!! 🙌🏻💥❤️💪🏻🎶🙏🏻⚡️👏🏻💯
What a career!
Love Toni😍
So proud that you continue to get recognition for all you provided us with. You deserve it all!
What's cool is that she actually lived it, lived in that era... I was just a kid and watched my parents ( African-American ) do "The Jerk" ala Goldie Hawn on "Laugh In" and some other weird sh*t. I'm 61 now. Really Hot to see a woman Toni's age still that flexible and limber ( wink )... Hmmm
What a way to go! Only you, and you.
A legend our Toni...remember watching her in the Hey Mickey video & thinking, she's hot! Such an incredible career.
Amazing
She looks amazing and her dancing is 🔥
You are the one Toni
Wow!!
Had no idea 👏👏👏
I think she was 19 in that first clip. A total little dance machine babe! Even today at 77, she still moves and has the looks that wont quit!⚘💕⚘
Excellent! Meanwhile others just talk Toni Basil with a TV nearby. Better ON TV for sure! :)
This is just awesome!
I was a dance fanatic in the days of my youth. It's fun to watch
I love the shirt with young Quentin
Choreography in the hullabaloo scene is fantastic, stylish and very cute, especially when the dancers ''laugh a lot''.
You Go Girl!
she can stay with me as long as she likes. Just so wonderful
Toni is in her 70’s and looks way better than that host! She can still get it!
Clu Culager... Bruce Dern.....Toni Basil......Tarantino was working with the real deal
What an incredible woman. An icon.
THE Wonder Woman of dance (actually just of humans period!) 🙌🏻❤️⚡️💪🏻🎉🎶🙏🏻💯
The cemetery acid trip scene in Easy Rider is awesome.
Toni you are an amazing dancer and every bit as pretty and sexy today and still got the moves baby.. And your scene in Viva Las Vegas, the stuff of dreams..
She certainly found her calling in life from an early age. When she finally passes she is one who must go into the Hall Of Fame. Be a few years yet though I reckon.
she's Great
A national treasure!
That girl can dance
SHE IS TIMELESS AND FUTUREHIPSTIC....
What a sweetheart. I so wish she would come to my Florida home, quiet, sit by my pool and just chat about things. Have lunch at some of the nice beach front area restaurants in the area, maybe a movie at Cinopolis fancy theater with reclining chairs and lobster rolls.
So from now on when I hear "What I'd Say" by Ray Charles I'll think of Toni Basil!
Legend!!
How lucky she was, Bing Crosby, Sinatra, Elvis, Sammy Davis, and of course the Micky hit, I would have loved to have been a fly on her wall, she must be loaded with stories,
ICON
Toni is like the Forrest Gump of entertainment
Toni is first-rate. Tops in her craft.
I got that Margaret Qualley was doing your dance on the street corner. LOL.
Wow
She needs a presidential medal of Freedom for her contribution to dance and culture, not that waste of skin Rush.
While I don't agree with your latter comment. I agree she should be honored. Something like at the Kennedy Center would be great. Also a good way to show her contribution to dance.
Can't find any info on it, but did you influence the Caped Crusader, the Bright Knight of the '60s Batman's "Bat-usi"?
Kurt Snyder Incidentally "Red HAWT" in VOTG! ................and NOW too!
Teri Garr was right there with her!
Why didn't they show her face in the Las Vegas movie?
Did she get less money?
She had a beautiful face.
...and you thought she was just a one-hit wonder.
When is this woman going to age? All her contemporaries are either passed on or look like crocodile leather with emphasemia. Dance must be the best diet ever! Amazing woman. ❤
What I really want to know is, did Toni choreograph Margaret Qualley's sidewalk skips when hitchhiking?
Is she married? Any kids?
Quentin gone now.
Legend
it is all about Jenna Ortega today?
