CTB2 Art Journal 40

This week's prompt was to Create Softness. I took one of my kids to the castle park one hot summer afternoon, and I took my lawn chair and my pencil case and my art journal with me. I sat in the shadiest spot I could find and drew up this picture while they played and had a great time. I was working on the previous journal page a couple nights later, and that page went by so fast that I had some extra time left while it dried to keep on keeping on! I broke out my trusty color pencils and got the page done. I didn't use my alcohol markers because I didn't want it to bleed through both pages. My hand sure was tired when I was done but I got it done! It sure does look soft! Enjoy!
