I found this lesson to be very well done and usefull, althought I would like to make a sugestion. Since the registation only happens one time, and the login happens everytime we open the app, I think you should have put the login page as the main page, not the registation one. Keep up the good work!

@@vivekmehta9933 Go to your mainfest and select and cut(ctrl+x) the body of the current main activity and paste (ctrl+v) to the body of the activity that you wanted to make the Main activity!

Hey! Can you make a tut, where you show, how to check if users username is unique or not. As far as I understand it, you need to use reverse mapping but I do not understand it fully.

Hello, instead of "Email and password authentication" (4:28 on video) in my Android Studio I see 6 options: Authenticate using Google, Authenticate using Google [Kotlin], Authenticate using Facebook Login, Authenticate using Facebook Login [Kotlin], Authenticate using a custom authentication system, Authenticate using a custom authentication system [Kotlin].
I can't see the "Email and password authentication". What should I do, please? Thank you.

Hi there, My app sign up process (in production ) shown this Error message ---- Error: An internal error has occurred. [Requests from this Android client application are blocked ] , How I fixed this issue, may be firestore rules error.

The app kept loading whenever I tried to register and it did not complete the registration in the background when I ran it on Android studio. I then ran the app on my phone and it was able to run with no issues. I'm not sure why I'm unable to run it on Android studio. Does anyone know why that is?

Check the id of your resources files in xml and make sure they are defined in xml file and match in tour findviewbyid()

u can use parameter such as isDriver or isParkingOwner and set them true while creating account ( let the user choose who r they in account registration page) and check the value of those field when user logged in and send then to the activity accordingly.

I had no way of finding the picture that i pasted in to drawable.
Maybe u downloaded it in png form.......try downloading it in SVG or PSD(I am a noob myself just got the same problem earlier so don't keep high hopes for this solution lol)

how to user shared preference for persist user logged?
You dont need to use sharedpref since the logged in user info is already cached by the app and they are automatically logged in whenever they open the app.
