Yes! My son went to prison at 20 years old and I was petrified. I was so afraid for him. But at the same time I was so happy that I knew where he was at because I was just waiting on a phone call. I have been preparing myself for that phone call. Prison save my son‘s life. Now all he do is work and take care of his family. He’s like an old man now. He don’t want to be in the cities no more. Yes! My son went to prison at 20 years old and I was petrified. I was so afraid for him. But at the same time I was so happy that I knew where he was at because I was just waiting on a phone call. I have been preparing myself for that phone call. Prison save my son‘s life. Now all he do is work and take care of his family. He’s like an old man now. He don’t want to be in the cities no more. Redemption is there for people who see the fault in their ways, and in saying that, I believe most people deserve a chance to redeem themselves. Unfortunately, some never get that chance because all you have to do is be in the wrong place at the wrong time. All I'm saying is that something has to be done to discourage our youth from choosing the path that Von and so many other youths have chosen. Single mother household, lived in the projects until I was an adult, and listened to murder music(and still do). I didn't try to live the music and chose to obey the law. Most of my dudes I grew up with are either dead and or are/were in jail.
