This story is about a famous king Midas who was the richest of the kings with lot of gold. He loves his wealth more than anything in the world. He has a daughter named Mariegold. One day when Midas was counting his golden coins, a fairy appeared infront of him and asked for a wish. Midas said he loves gold than anything in the world and he asks for a wish that whatever he touches it should turn into gold. Fairy offered him that wish and also told that it wont a wish but this will be his sin. King slept that day and woke up early to see if the wish was true. he touches his sheets and they turned gold. he was so happy and started touching everything and everything turned gold. While he was about to eat his breakfast and tried to touch some glass of water, even his food turned into gold. He started to worry and in sometime his daughter came running to him. He accidentally touched her and his daughter turned into gold. He was devastated for this and started begging for mercy to the fairy. She handed him a pot of water and told to sprinkle on everything he touched. After sprinkling, all those which turned gold came back to normal life along with his daughter. He then was very happy and realised that there are many things valuable than the gold in this world.
Moral: monkey can't buy us everything.
