It's an incredibly audacious concept that only a master musician could pull off. The creativity levels are off the charts. If you ask me, Charles' creativity at this time was by far the peak of anyone in hip-hop history. It's truly insane. The fact that he produces and mixes his own shit allows him to become much bolder and creative with his sonic landscapes and concepts.
This was his last good project before his life went into another direction and music quality degraded

Tried to remake this beat awhile ago....coulda finished it but 0:50 was difficult for me w/o having an mpc. However I did make the intro perfect with my keyboards. His beats are fun to go back and disect, specially if your trying to learn how to produce.

#2 - anytime i hear a MF sample (which is never, this is the 3rd now) i reject the discovery for A while cuz im low key pissed someone else sampled him. i thought i was the only one until i heard Logic sample em.
