Twelve years ago I went to a mid week church service with Dr. Sam Gipp as the guest preacher. At an intermission I spoke with Dr. Gipp and told him that I had been saved for 49 years and did not know Gods specific will for my life. He asked if I could read the Bible 25 pages a day? I said sure. He said you need to show the Lord you mean business. After 9 months the Lord showed me the job He had for me. (street preaching in cities near me every week) I have continued reading the 25 pages a day and it has transformed my life. I tell my kids, my grandkids and believers I meet every week. "read the Book, read the Book , read the Book!". There is nothing more important in life than reading that Book. The Monarch of books. Thank you Dr. Gipp. I'll see you on the other side!

While I agree that IS the best advice I will point out that the only places in the Bible we are commanded to study (II Tim 2:15)and search the scriptures (John 5;39)are removed in the new versions. Occurs only in the old AV 1611. If you ask the Lord to show the truth, He will.@@PaDutchRunner

Just my own anecdotal experience but the lord brought me to read the KJB for the first time 15years ago and I was never the same. Been reading other versions my entire life and they all fell flat and had little impact on my walk. Friends around my age (30’s) think it’s too difficult and outdated, but then I read it in our study time together and it just hits the heart differently.

This might be some of the most incoherent nonsense i have ever heard proposing to be a conversation about biblical schoarship.
Unfortunately for Sam Gipp, presuppositions and indoctrination within a highly idiosynchtatic subculture has totally suplanted any notion of careful, study in any kind of spirit resembling humility.
I'm enbarassed for him and the people that are attracted to this kind of intellectually dishonest dreck.

I read the NKJV because of John MacArthur. I read the NASB because of Hal Lindsey. I read the NLT because of Chuck Swindoll. I read the ESV because of my kids' Baptist AWANA program, until one day they looked up while reading and said, "Dad, why are verses missing?" After a year of study, I came to the conclusion that God did in fact keep his promise to preserve His word and that it is found in the King James Bible. Thanks to those few of you who stood up to deliver the truth: Sam Gipp, Gail Riplinger, David W. Daniels, Robert Breaker and Gene Kim.

Sam Gipp? A Russian must learn English to have the true word of God. Not any old English but the archaic English of the KJV.. Where so many words have changed meaning. Gail Riplinger? Pathological liar and deceiver. Her so called "acrostic algebra" which she claims God gave her. So a "new revelation not in scripture" typical of all false teachers. Nothing more than the spirit of divination or witchcraft. Just like this numerogy deception. David W Daniels? KJV only cultist from "chicktracts". Full of double standards, circular reasoning, conspiracy theories, and outrageous lies. Gene Kim? Blasphemer. Think that those who reject the KJV only heresy. Will bow the knee to him. What an arrogant presumptuous blasphemous false teacher. Robert Breaker? Who would not reply to me. When I exposed some of his lies he said about other translations. Translations that God is using and blessing to bring many to Christ. The heavens cannot contain the Almighty. But the idolatrous KJV only cult try to confine him to some imperfect uninspired translation called the KJV. The KJV translators knew their work was not perfect, they said that even the meanest translation is still the word of God. The KJV only cult in their delusions pride and arrogance think they know better. KJV onlyism one of Satan's most subtle deceptions. That has left sanity behind. Thank you Lord for the excellent modern more accurate translations you have blessed us with.

A circumstantial case for the Comma of John: In 484 A.D. the bishop of Carthage with 400 bishops quoted the comma to an Arian Vandal king. Being the bishop of Carthage, he would have had access to the Scriptures of Cyprian, and he probably had a Vulgate, maybe a first edition. Also, Gregory Nazianzus wrote on the grammar, and he had a student named Jerome. Seems strong evidence to me. Blessings.

    New Covenant Whole Gospel:
Who is now the King of Israel in John 1:49? Is the King of Israel now the Head of the Church, and are we His Body? Why did God allow the Romans to destroy the Old Covenant temple and the Old Covenant city, about 40 years after His Son fulfilled the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34 in blood at Calvary?
What the modern Church needs is a New Covenant Revival (Heb. 9:10) in which members of various denominations are willing to re-examine everything they believe and see if it agrees with the Bible, instead of the traditions of men. We need to be like the Bereans. It will be a battle between our flesh and the Holy Spirit. It will not be easy. If you get mad and upset when someone challenges your man-made Bible doctrines, that is your flesh resisting the truth found in God's Word. Nobody can completely understand the Bible unless they understand the relationship between the Old Covenant given to Moses at Mount Sinai and the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary. What brings all local churches together into one Body under the blood of Christ? The answer is found below.
Let us now share the Old Testament Gospel found below with the whole world. On the road to Emmaus He said the Old Testament is about Him.
He is the very Word of God in John 1:1, 14. Awaken Church to this truth.
Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by husband unto them, saith the LORD:
Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1 (Gal. 3:16)? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel (John 1:49)? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? What did Paul say about Genesis 12:3 in Galatians 3:8? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis?
Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart.
Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36)
We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24.
1Jn 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
1Jn 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
1Jn 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
The following verses prove the Holy Spirit is the master teacher for those now in the New Covenant.
Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Mar 1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.
Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Act 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

the translation of the Hebrew Bible into Koine Greek, may have been produced at Alexandria, Egypt in stages, starting about 250 BCE. The Alexandrian community then included the largest community of Jews, including a group of scholars who prepared the translation.
Codex Sinaiticus and codex vaticanus are the oldest manuscripts dated to mid 4th century AD compared to the more recent Majority text or received text.
There are barely any differences in the various translations apart from sone contested verses (Mark 16:9-20) is an example.
In the newer Bible translations those verses are still in there but with brackets stating these verses are not in the older or more reliable manuscripts)
Nothing takes away from the Christian doctrine - in fact we now have an embarrassment of riches as far as manuscripts are concerned -
These manuscripts 5,800 plus - do not differ in any substantial way apart from spelling mistakes or quotation marks etc.
Even the KJV was translated and also has side notes.
No-one is trying to get rid of the King James Bible - it is a beautiful translation with Elizabethan language - however it is difficult to read for today’s reader - and so it was updated to todays language in 1982 with the NKJV and then we have the NIV and ESV etc all translated with teams of over 50 scholars and PhD theologians and professors from around the world who were very careful to preserve the word for word text as much as possible
(NIV more mixture of thought for thought and using critical text. The critical text and the Textus Receptus barely differ
It is healthy to have different translations and to compare

My elevator pitch: The KJB has the links in every chain from OT to NT using consistency in word usage, prophecy, mathematics and timing with respect to how it began its journey on the world stage.
Consider: it came at the height of the reformation. It came at the birth of the English Empire. It survived the gunpowder plot of the Jesuits. And then I dare you to look at the lives surrounding the 4 Stuart's who were the kings of england at the time.
Christ came to earth at the 4th prophetic day of the creation week. Mary was catholic beheaded by Elizabeth who was protestant. Elizabeth was the 'virgin' queen. Mary was James' mother. James was VI of Scotland, and I of England =7. Charles I beheaded, Charles II avenged, return of the KING. And many many more, not to mention the kangaroo court of Charles I who was king James I's son. Jesus was in a kangaroo court. Jesus will return to defeat all his enemies. I cant shorten this comment because that's all this is... just another comment. But I encourage everyone to look without trusting the Jesuit history revisionism that's going on in today's cancel culture, when it comes to whether or not you believe James was a Godly man...he was human right? Then he's not God on earth and he sins so is that going to make the whole bible a farce? I should hope not!

Sam Gipp's teaching on Easter in Acts 12:4 is very flawed. He provides no evidence whatsoever that establishes an etymological link between Easter and Astarte. Alexander Hislop offers no evidence either for such a connection. Back in 1611 "Easter" was used interchangeably with "Passover" to refer to the Jewish feast. You would think one would do a bit of research into how particular words were used in 1611.

    • @nicobrits5111
      @nicobrits5111 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

The Greek word behind Easter in Acts 12:4 is pascha. This word is found 29 times and translated in all other places as passover. Some KJV translators likes some words. Like charity for agape in 1 Cor. The most frequent occurrence of agape is in 1 John and not once translated as charity. The KJVO make a big deal about charity not being used in other translations. There are quite a number of others also.

The elephant in the room that no kjvonlyist will discuss honestly is, what about the known and obvious errors in the King James? With all due respect, I teach and preach from the KJV, but to say a translation - any translation - is perfect and without error is demonstrably false. For instance, there's no Easter in scripture. The word is pascha. It means passover.

The original Greek word is pacha, which would normally and rightly be translated as Passover, but in this case the KJB Translators knew that it was Easter, because those were the days of Unleavened Bread, which comes after Passover, so Passover was over, thus it has to be Easter.

@@paulflannigan888 Sam Gipp's answer book? Doing mental gymnastics to try and justify the mistranslation of Easter. Instead of the correct translation which is Passover . The KJV translators got it wrong. Ezekiel 45 v 21 makes it clear that Passover is a feast of seven days. Not that the KJV idolaters like Sam Gipp care about truth. Just the insane worship of an imperfect uninspired translation. Easter was not known when Luke wrote the book of Acts. Herod wanted to please the Jews that is why he was waiting till after the Passover. Other reasons to reject the KJV only heresy, besides Sam Gipp. Will Kinney, Steven Anderson, Mike Hoggard, Gene Kim, David W Daniels, Robert Breaker. All represent the lunatic fringe of the KJV only cult. Professional liar Gail Riplinger represents the extreme lunatic fringe of the KJV only cult. Her so called "acrostic algebra" alongside Mike Hoggard's numerology is the spirit of divination or witchcraft. So is heretic Gene Kim's and his blasphemous idolatrous teachings. As has been said Satan does not need atheists, he has the KJV only cult spreading his deceptions. Thank God for better more accurate modern translations, in English we can understand. Without all the added uninspired verses that are in the KJV.

When the Lord saved me, I immediately learned Greek. Why bother with a translation? 🤔

Probably because Greek is a dead language.

We keep being told that all these revisions are made for readability. That's not the issue at all. The issue has never been readability. The issue is source documents. 3000+ source documents supporting KJV. Sometimes called majority text. The other versions, including NKJV, are supported by 50-70 supporting texts. Sinaiticus was actually pulled out of a garbage can. KJV was uncontested for 350 years. People who call people who defend KJV only a cult are a group who I would call the 'anything but the KJV' cult. Kjv is still 30% of Bibles sold. Next closest is nasb at 15%.

Ruckman was right ! Nobody has the originals and if you had them , what are you going to do with them ? The universal language is English not Greek , the King James Bible is superior to the original autographs- Ruckman was right

I AM KJV EXCLUSIVE - I BELIEVE THE KJV IS THE BEST TRANSLATION (IN ENGLISH) WE HAVE - I BELIEVE THE LORD GOD DID INDEED PERSERVE HIS WORD IN ENGLISH WITH THE KJV - *BUT* I DO *NOT* BELIEVE THAT THE KJV IS INSPIRED!!!!!!!
BUT I WOULD LIKE TO ASK; *"WHICH PERSON, ON THE PANEL ABOVE, USES THE 1611 PUBLICATION OF THE KING JAMES BIBLE???!!!!"*

    • @johnword4775
      @johnword4775 ปีที่แล้ว +2

The translated text of 1611 is the same today. There were corrections of printing errors, a font change and standardization of spelling. The KJB is God's pure words perfectly preserved in English and therefore is inspired. The inspiration is in the words.

*INSPIRATION MEANS YOU START WITH A BLANK SHEET OF PAPER, THEN THE LORD GOD TELLS YOU WHAT TO WRITE ON IT - PLAIN AND SIMPLE!!!!!!!*
THE KJV TRANSLATERS STARTED WITH A BISHOP'S BIBLE AND CORRECTED THE TEXT TO BETTER FIT THE MASEROTIC HEBREW AND THE BEZA'S 1598 GREEK TEXT - *THAT IS NOT INSPIRATION* - YOU ARE JUST A PARROT THAT KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT THE TRANSLATION OF THE KJV - BUT, I SHALL NOT PERSUE THIS IF YOU WILL JUST STOP TRYING TO POKE ME IN THE EYE, I WOULD NOT WANT TO BE THE ONE THAT SHATTERS ANY OF YOUR FAITH, AND I TOO LOVE THE KJV BIBLE - THE KJV BIBLE IS GOD'S WORD IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE, THAT IS A GOOD STATEMENT, JUST STAY AWAY FROM THE WORD "INSPIRED"!!!!!!!
