***** Holy shit you moderate /r/spacedicks? I bow down to your dorito crumb covered loafers. What's it like moderating the most awesomest /r/ on the entire internet?
I was quite touched by Shia's performance, and the cast's as a whole. This was a complicated movie and Shia's character comes into the film as an uncomplicated character who becomes more and more transformed and complicated as the story unveils. His performance is beautiful, stirring and deep. Shia is truly doomed to be misunderstood as an actor and as a human, essentially, simply because he is unwilling to "sell" himself commercially. There is nothing wrong with that. He's an actor, an artist, not a salesman. Shia is no egomaniac, he's real, with progressive ideas about the film industry and society that cannot be publicised without backlash (as is obvious with his many debacles.) Maybe he's not able to voice his opinions, or doesn't want to, but I think he should be "judged" by his contribution to the art of film, and not on his unwillingness to be part of the sales pitch.
Bullshit. He got a question from a guy asking about the implications of the film for a villified minority in society, and he walked out. Socially conscious my arse.
The metaphor is for the people in the audience are the seagulls and the actors on stage are the trolly or boat the sardines are incidents that may amuse people the seagulls are waiting for something to happen. Their there to watch him fail or do something memorable or any of them and that's why he's leaving because he's not going to stick around people like that.
Lars is so good and so honest that it warms my heart. To be totally frank I didn't like Nymphomaniac as much as 'Melancholia' or 'Anti-Christ' (i.e), however he is without doubt one of the greats of film making.
They are disgusting arent they. Cant help but think that the people I hate most in life would storm an audition for paparrazi photographer. They somehow avoided the concepts of 'class' and 'decency' since childhood. Oddly though, 'paparazzi isnt even a Scotish word...
I understand that actors must get annoyed answering the same questions over and over again, but I find it incredibly inconsiderate to not to try and answer the question fully because it's people's jobs to get a story. If they don't answer the questions in interviews, they are essentially ruining the journalists career. You know? It's not just about the actor. Acting is a job, just like a journalist.
"Sex is more difficult than violence..." So societies accept violence more than sex(uality), as if sex is more destructive. And we wonder how and why human kind regresses. What a misinterpreted nature...
Well yes, sadly its true though isnt it. Very important point she made there. The Expendables or Kill Bill are just fine for cinema, but if you show a part of our body, or the natural Maslow-phase-1 needs like sex, its taboo. Also depressing that the mainstream people think we've got More permissive, when in fact we've got vastly, vastly less so.
the first 10 minutes is actually sickening to look at the photographers shout like monkeys in a jungle and this is withstood for sake of ritual it's repulsive and offputting
Reminds me of my favourite Shia Labeouf quote
"one small step for man one giant leap for mankind"
***** I happen to have an insider on the moon, and he says that nobody has ever been there.

HAHAHAHAHA He IS an amazing artist. He is unmatched in the medium of bullshit. I hear he is learning to work in horseshit as well.

Well this comment did not age well at all after the recent allegations

Where's Lars? Wasn't he invited for the conference?
He had sworn silence that’s why he didn’t have a speech in there.

Shia is on a website where people can review how they are in bed and legit -- "wants his name to be yelled"
I don't understand what Shia says...exept from "sardines thrown to the sea" what happened to him?
he copied the speech from eric cantona a football player

For some reason he was imitating this,
