Well, the US is a big country with many big cities. The 12 million views are spread from coast to coast. Your channel appeals to all of us here in the States.❤
I'm here in North Carolina (US) and I watch every damn video you put up almost immediately if I can. For some reason it's almost become like a comfort channel to me.
I never thought I would become hooked on watching superyacht videos, but I am. Your presenting and editing skills are first class. 🥰😍🤩 Thank you. ilona
I found all these stats fascinating. I am a 77 year old woman living in North Carolina miles from the coast. I grew up in Madison, Wisconsin which is the only city in the US located on an isthmus. I am quite certain my demographic is an outlier. I suspect the reason there are no cities in the top 5 even though we are number one in viewers in the US is that we have a huge land mass and many, many cities located near the oceans and the Gulf of Mexico. So, we are spread all over! My fascination with yachting most likely comes from being on land and watching others enjoy traveling on the water. I remember living in Panama in the 1960s watching the huge sea going vessels go through the Canal and saying “One day I will be on one of those ships.” That and the set of locks in my neighborhood allowing passage from Lake Moñona to Lake Mendota most likely triggered my fascination with all things nautical. I hope you found this interesting. Thank you for your excellent reporting.
Such a great channel! I came aboard during the Bayesian fracas due to a dearth of solid reporting in the mainstream (and apparently yachting) press. Stayed because the yachting news is actually fascinating. The rich, the much less rich who work on the yachts, the shows, the spectacles, and the tragedies etc all draw me in. But the quality of the reporting PLUS the demeanor of our generous host keep me coming back. Plus, I suppose, seriously land-locked commoners such as myself wouldn’t mind a yacht and the bank account needed just to fill the darn thing up with fuel lol.
Those bloopers! 😂 Your facial expressions are hilarious. Especially contrasted with your usual VERY professional demeanor. I do love your sense of humour, which shows in your face on the bloopers. Miss some of your dry humour, though I get that it went over the top of some people's heads and you spent far too much time having to explain it. The Monaco videos, all of them, always are some of my favourites. You always seem so happy there, even when completely tired out. I thought the Legacy series was outstanding. They were so well done, and the hospitality and generous reception were noteworthy. The tech one may be my favorite of those, though the crew quarters and life also was fascinating, and rarely seen. A great New Year to you eSysman. 🎉 Much success, health, and peaceful prosperity. ❤
I have appreciated the amount of research and detail you provide for a long time. That said, you seem to be really hitting your stride with presentation, especially in the last year. I appreciate all you do and will continue to enjoy watching your channel develop. Happy New Year's!
This is my favorite YT channel! Beautiful photography, up to date breaking news, and a peek inside the unimaginable world of the super rich and their incredible yachts. Thanks for all your work and sharing your knowledge of the super yacht world. Happy New Year from the USA👍
I am in Florida and ❤ both M/Y and S/Y which is why I tune in. Quite the variety of vessels on the channel and very well thought out reporting. It's been a really great year on the channel. Many thanks!
I'm not surprised that one of your Bayesian videos was top. I found your channel whilst looking for info on that incident. Now I don't miss an episode and am slightly yacht obsessed! Contributing to the 0.6% from Switzerland.
Monaco is a magical place.... My girlfriend and I took the scenic route down to the South of France avoiding all motorways in my Ford Capri in '78 The route we took was around 1500 miles...We 'started' at Aix-en-Provence and drove East into Monaco. We were swimming off a beach in Monte Carlo at 7.30am before driving the GP circuit (including the tunnel) then headed back home through the French Alps. We were 19/18 years old. 😲
Congratulations on an absolutely stellar year. Happy New Year to You, all your family, friends, and crew. Thanks for the awesome job of providing these wonderful videos.
I don’t know your name Mr ES, but I have grown to greatly enjoy your channel. It is rare quality on TH-cam. The fact that we get to see your face and hear your real voice alone makes it a standout! Interesting stats - yes, we Aussies do love the ocean, even if very few here own anything that comes close to a super yacht! Thank you for an excellent year of fascinating information and superlative imagery! Happy New Year mate!🎉❤
Thanks for your great reports and the effort you put in to get the facts right contrary to many other news outlets! This said, I wish you a great start into the new year and all the best for 2025!
Yes I watched all your videos on TH-cam this year e system, the yacht report. 😊 And yes I like the statistics where people are watching your videos all over the world 🌍 from Canada Newfoundland. Yes I'm going to watch your videos in 2025, and happy New Year 🎊
Thank you for another fantastic year of reporting. Your channel is one of a kind. Please keep us informed about the unfortunate incident involving MY. Loon, a lot of us feel emotionally connected to that crew because of their coverage. Thanks again! Everyone hit that 👍
Whoops he also forgot to mention the channel name change thingy for 2024. But more importantly thank you eSysman and thank you everyone who sent him invites, videos, pictures, info, etc. o/
Interesting to see New Zealand in 6th place after South Africa, and Auckland in 5th for the cities. I think there's something in the Auckland bylaws, like you have to have a boat to live there.
City of Sails, Auckland, New Zealand. Happy the city of 1.5 million can represent in the top 5 ❤. Thanks for the amazing reporting during 2024. Looking forward to 2025. Merry Christmas and happy new year to you and your team. 🎉
Loved this video. Data is always interesting to me. Fascinating info. Continue to love the channel. Happy new year…. and I’m looking forward to your 2025…. 😊👍👍 Also: Happy to have agreed with you on Koru
Whoohoo, it is a wrap....love it. Happy New Year, and thank you for a wonderful channel. As an Insurance Broker who does some Marine and Pleasecraft risks you greatly add to my wealth of knowledge.
Happy New Year ! Nice to see the shot of the yacht in the Seychelles 😊 It was where my husband and I honeymooned in 1977 ❤. There was a military Coup at the time, and a curfew was imposed , no one allowed out of our hotel, The Fisherman’s Cove after 5 pm , so definitely no moonlit beach walks 😮
Is the Dali being scrapped? I hadn't seen anything mentioning that. My ear, of course, isn't where yours is. I thought there might be a new bow waiting - or under construction, waiting for her. Looking forward to updates about her. Happy Christmas and a very Merry New Year!
Thanks for a super year of reporting - tragedy - triumph - and sometimes just the odd. Great awards - and say what you like about Mr Bezzos but that is one heck of yacht!
Thanks for your videos. Please keep in mind that if the viewers are using NORD, as you recommend, their physical location may be completely different to what you register on your system.
Interesting stats. I suspect that many viewers in the US are in the suburbs rather than the metro cities. I am sorry that MY Phi didn’t win as it might have put more pressure on a corrupt UK bureaucracy.
Of course, the US and China and Russia and India are hugh geographically and populous, so can’t really compare to other countries for 1:1 people. It is especially interesting to compare viewers by cities, especially the 4 Australian cities who have most viewers. Always enjoy your channel.
Why wouldn't a vessel like Bayesian and it's sister vessels not have a simple system like a pendulum operated switch that would automatically close hull side ventilators when leaning beyond a predetermined angle. The side ventilators should be designed to supply all the necessary air with the down side closed and the high side operating. This system could be useful in normal heavy seas sailing. Obviously a manual control is also needed. A hullside ventilation system doesn't sound like a smart idea on an UNSINKABLE? yacht. 60+ years ago a Massachusetts company developed an unsinkable small runabout, 13' and 16' with a fully foam filled hull. It's called a Boston Whaler. The concept doesn't obviously translate to large yachts.
BOSTON Whalers were first marketed in 1958. Ray Hunt who designed the modern deep V hulls as well as sailing vessels such as the Concordia Yawl and many more was part of the team that developed the Boston Whaler.
While they are interesting I wouldn’t put a lot of stress on the stats by city as it depends on how well the IP and GPS resolve - I seem to remember Half As Interesting channel covering this as it seemed to place a large percentage of USA businesses in an empty field in the middle of nowhere. Nonetheless great to hear how the channel continues to grow 😀👍
Australia is a small country population wise - try looking at the views per million of population. Australia is a very sporty country and has the highest number of summer Olympic medals per million of population I. The world.
Well done on such a successful year. I always enjoy watching your informative and enjoyable content. You share your experience and insight in a professional and friendly manner and deserve all your success. Look forward to lots more in 2025. Happy New Year to you and all involved in your channel. 👍👍👍
Thank you for the great round-up of an excellent year's coverage by your channel. 💙 But. What on earth happened to the audio in final mix/editing? 😳 Disjointed, discordant, random, pieces of piano music that matched neither the subject nor the pace of the episode. Omg. I hope you didn't let a teenage son loose on it to celebrate the year's final or something like that... Truly not the professional standard of your channel. 😭
That Oceania has such a high rate of interest comes down to the fact that, I think. sailing and boating is still affordable to the general population including their "lower socioeconomical" . It is indicative also in the high number of people who work within that industry as well, just based upon what I have observed on YT channels. It would be interesting to actually see some real statistics on where the people serving the industry are actually from.
I hope that "Meat substance" doesn't upset any vegans who ate tofu-rkey or beyond meat burgers? Honestly I like the beyond meat brand vegan burger patties but unless the price drops significantly it'll never be sustainable and the pricing is at odds with the concept that vegan foods cost significantly less since its the crops directly. (end rant)
This is so exciting !!! Idk why bcs I have a fear of the ocean and get sick on boats. I also think if all the good that kind of money coukd have done for those without and it kinda grosses me out, but it is their money. Just seems over the top to have a super yacht. About the US not being in the top cities of the world…..as a Yank….this is not surprising at all. The population centers in the USA are all blue, and less likely to be interested in Yachting. Also, the people interested in this subject would be well spread out all over the country…likely in the heartland.
Oh please, you are British. Stick with the Happy Christmas and turkey. We have had quite enough of multibloodyculturalism. Other than that keep up the excellent work.
@@YachtReport Sorry but you have it so wrong, just like most of our politicians for the last 30 years. This is what is so wrong nowadays - oh we have to include everyone. Well I am a Devil worshipper and I demand you celebrate Odins day. Where do you stop. So, what does that translate in monetization from youtube?
Got to walk along side Kismet docked in Jax Fl. It is quite impressive. Has a stainless steel sculpture Jaguar at the bow.
Yay ! USA , how many views from the east coast ? I’m a transplanted Brit 😊
Why was Apho not nominated?
I’d love to see views figures scaled to each nations’ population. Views per capita.
Why not start the states from the last end of stats plus a day instead of leaving a gap?
Note , US is 140m lots of cities :-)
