That tank is to small for two terrapins. Actually, it is too small for one terrapin. They don't like handling, you shouldn't be picking them up that much. I am surprised they haven't bitten you yet. You shouldn't have plastic plants either because they are likely to bite them and swallow plastic pieces. They need deeper water and a UVB bulb above the basking spot. They are NOT good 'starter' animals for people looking to keep reptiles, because although compared to some reptiles they are relatively easy to keep (they are hard to keep compared to many other pets tho), the average lifespan for a red-eared slider in captivity is 50-70 years. They won't live that long if you treat them badly though. Maybe 30-40 years. Terrapins take 8-10 years to get to full size so you need to be careful before buying tanks for your small terrapin, I think males get to about 15-20cm? and females larger... I see too many terrapins in too small environments and it is not okay. (If you must know, I have 2 red eared sliders, 25 years old. They are both male so I keep them in separate tanks because they fought.)
i got a terrapin a couple of weeks ago and I have all the right equipment and it is in perfect health, and only a few weeks old, however it is not going on the basking area, I'm not sure if something is wrong or it's just my terrapin
My baby terrapin won't eat anything when I brought it home. It took a bite of the pellet but then never ate it ever again. It doesn't like the pellet? Not used to the pellets as food? What should I do? I'm scared it won't eat anything and get hungry.
My terrapins are quite tiny.... As time goes by I will have to change the tank and also I only have two and now it's quite crammed in the tank.... I got to buy a new tank

Mine lived on worms and black clock beetles when I had them, 2 big ones

Don't you use a heater ? Thought you have to have the water at 25 degres

That is too small cage, I have a huge fresh water pond and land area for my 3 terrapins
