- One thousand most auspicious purifying transcendental names of Lord Varāhadevā was spoken by Lord Śivā to his consort Goddess Pārvatī and it is found in Skanda purāṇā. Phala śruti states that one who chants or hears these thousand transcendental names of the Supreme Lord one will definitely attain desired wealth, fame and long life. One who chants or hears with faith and devotion gets freed from all the sins, one will attain all auspiciousness in life , incurable diseases will be cured and attains the supreme abode.
