Makes sense... Because there is no way Kagome, InuYasha, Rin, nor Sesshomaru would just leave their children to be on their own. Inuyasha gave his daughter the robe to protect her from the fire, like his father did when he was a baby. During the fire, something happened to them. Either we take on the theory that they are captured ( or sealed ) inside something... Otherwise we just have to go with the other possibility that they are dead ... What would be quite harsh and nearly impossible. Because Sesshomaru is one of the strongest living demons and InuYasha is the strongest half demon in this world.

there is a sad fact that except Kagome, the rest characters was lived a life without their parents ( most of them are dead ). Yashahime from my point of view is do well about take over legacy of Inuyasha which can be lead may be some characters have possibly dead in new era

I dont think he will be since at the end of Final Act he understood he was just a pawn for the jewel and realized the error of his ways. If they do bring him back I think he will be on the good side

Also, I like this theory but I will be very surprised if a curse made by a lower demon (like this demon owl) could affect a Daiyokai (Demon Lord) as powerful as Sesshomaru. Maybe it did curse everybody else (including Rin) and he's out looking for her and/or think his daughters are dead. I don't know. Oh and the owl puns made me laugh. Such "dad jokes" I love them!

In both the the OP, and the first promo poster for Yashahime, we see both Inuyasha and Sesshomaru, but not the rest of the gang. So if Axelbeats theory were to be true, I'd imagine those who have demon blood could not be imprisoned within the pearls.
I had read somewhere that Karu Wada said in an interview that Inuyasha wasn’t in the story much, but Sesshoumaru was and how he was working a bit more on Sesshoumaru’s theme music. So I guess he hinted that the brothers will be in the series, but perhaps just in a few episodes.
Yes , Sesshoumaru will have important role that's why Kaoru Wada made theme for himself , but Inuyasha & Kagome are only in small role ( Kaoru didn't mention about making their theme thou ) There was no news about the others ☹️
If Kagome is sealed in a pearl that's in Morohas eye, then it would make sense that Moroha can produce a sacred arrow like Kagome. It's almost as if Kagome is acting through Moroha by providing her with spiritual powers, thereby protecting her.
True but Moroha's pearl is in her lipstick shell. I think its Setsuna that had it in the eye. The second episode has yet to reveal where Towa's pearl is. Maybe also in her eye I can't remember
I like this theory. At least they aren’t dead but sealed. But it totally jacks up the timeline. Meaning once the seal is broken and the original gang come back, their children will be all grown up. It would be a bittersweet conclusion that Towa, Moroha, Sestuna get their family back but sad Inuyasha Sesshomaru and the others lost 10 years of their children’s lives. I almost got depressed thinking they could be dead. Sesshomaru’s death would hurt me the most if they kill him off. So hopefully they don’t do that.
Nina B. Yea true, Sango and Miroku losing those years without their children will be devastating even though they will be happy to see them again. But life is shorter with them. Inuyasha and Sesshomaru’s children will most likely live a few centuries aging slower. Moroha, seems to look more dog than her cousins. And she oddly looks a lot younger than Sestuna and Towa even though she’s 14. She could possibly be physically younger like 10 or 11 and inherited her father’s longevity trait. Good news is their fathers have more time to enjoy them.
I have all my faith in Rumiko Takahashi. She won't fuck this up, I'm so deeply sure she won't because Inuyasha as an anime was amazing, the story was perfect, she never crossed any lines. It got always better and better. I'm sure she will touch our very souls with this story, whatever happens in it
The pearl in Inuyasha's eye wasn't the seal! The sword was. The pearl's purpose was to be a portal to great Lord inu father's grave. The border between this world and the next (living and after life) Once the sword was retrieved from father's grave the pearl's purpose was over. No more magic. The sword itself is the seal for inuyasha's demonic side. Help Keep balance til the boy grew up and became stronger.
I agree with this theory. Remember Kohaku doesn't live in the village with Sango and them so he may not have been there when the battle took place. Kaede may just not have been in the battle. Which is why they're both still here. Sealing demons are typically the easiest way to deal with them if you can't fully dispose of them, we've seen this throughout most of Inuyasha's serious battles. Meaning as they're collecting these pearls they'll be saving the previous cast, or something may happen when they make a wish.
If that's the case, then the series could be about the three of them finding each of these pearls and freeing that particular person, who then fills them in about their background and history, unlocking more information about their origins and providing clues about who/where the next pearl is. They could set it up to where they do one pearl per season.
Maybe they have to gather all the pearls before they can be freed? However sesshomaru is definitely not in a pearl, neither is miroku, and I doubt that rin can be both sealed in the tree and in a pearl, so there's a couple plots holes in the theory for sure.
What if Sesshomaru's Mother makes a reappearance in the series? He and Inuyasha were from the same father, but different mothers. Just imagine Grandma teasing her son and embarrassing her granddaughters, Towa and Setsuna during a visit to Modern Japan. Will her name be reveal?

This strikes me as a "morality" tale meant to encourage a high birth rate to counter the high death rate - possibly also at a time when men were needed to serve in the various armies. It also seems to promote patriarchy by getting rid of any priestess or wise woman who was getting too powerful.
I really hope the OG cast is still alive because it would really suck to only see them in the first episode and then never again except for random flashbacks. Still, you may have a point in that the demon was there as a bird and he must have had something to do with the OG cast being gone. Now I am interested and I can't wait for next week's episode! The sealed in Pearls theory made me super happy because it would mean that Towa's pearl is Sesshomaru Setsuna's pearl is Rin And Moroha's pearl is Inuyasha (according to their colors) which is super cool

i think what happens is root head disrupts time. we see it infect the tree of ages, which connects to various ages. that tree is connected to kikyo, inuyasha and kagome. which imo causes them to disappear in the timeline leaving their children.
I wonder what happened to Sango’s twins... I mean that would be two kids missing, too. I feared for a moment that they somehow would become Setsuna and Towa by being resurrected and/or adopted by Sesshomaru but luckily their age wouldn’t fit 💪🏼
Hisui is now under Kohaku's training and he inherited Sango's hiraikotsu, so I think the twins are also under Kohaku's protection too after their parents missing

This explains some things. I was hella confused at the second episode when Kohaku and above all Kinrara have no idea that they don't know that child of Kagome and Inuyasha. She's practically the age where she knows her extended family members. And the fact that Kohaku was completely surprised that she used a holy arrow, one that only Miko's use. Because if he did and knew who her parents are he wouldn't be.

This is a great theory and, honestly, I could see this being the case. Though one thing seems off in a way... Would Sesshomaru really be so careless as to allow himself to be sealed in a pearl by some lesser demon? I don’t know if I could see that. With the others, yes. Sesshomaru? Kind of unlikely.
This could be Nuraku trying to get one last jab at them all. Look at the peace that Inuyasha and the others had. Best revenge is to tear the family apart. Seal them up and force the kids to survive on their own. Best theory would by Nuaku took the soul of a dead child and used it as a vessel to survive and it could have been his final plan if he knew he'd be defeated.
Best part is did everyone see the colors of the three Pearl's of the girls and which character you had them linked to? Namely Rin Sessh and Inu. I love this theory. Lots of research and lots of hmmm moments My other thought is what if Moroha was from a separate timeline? In the second episode preview it looks like she is coming right out of the tree just a thought.

Man Naraku was an interesting villain. Not crazy powerful in fights but I always remember him as the dude putting up with barriers Lols. That what he was known for and having most of the jewel shard that is.
Oh man, before you showed the picture of Naraku's baby's cloth I thought this theory would go into the direction that Kagome might have had a miscarriage or a stillbirth before she had Moroha, because according to the time line she apparently didn't have children for 6 years after marrying Inuyasha, which seems weird for an era with little to no birth control. I'm glad that your theory makes more sense from a story writer's point.

My sister and I thought the original cast might be frozen in time somehow (like possibly in the tree), but the pearl theory fits, too! This would potentially allow the cast to stay relatively young if/when they are recovered. I did not mind the characters aging, but I wonder if the creators wanted a reason for them to stay young? Kagome and Rin eventually looking older than Inuyasha and Sesshomaru would be a little odd after all. I'm excited to see what happens!
the problem that the owl said over 10yrs after Naraku's death, you could 20 or 30 yrs later but normally when people say over 10yrs, it wouldnt be longer than 20yrs
Well the latest episode shows us the plot of the story now. There’s a “wolf dog demon” trying to distort time , and clearly that’s inyuasha because sesshomaru was shown at the end being asked something by the tree of ages regarding kagome, who is shown suspended in time inside the tree of ages. So now we know inuyasha is pissed . What led to all this I have no idea but I’m highly invested in this story.

Just putting this here again for people saying Sesshomaru could've easily killed him, Maybe he was put in a situation where he couldnt use Bakusaiga or Tenseiga, like in the OG series, Naraku stole Rin for that sole purpose, to seal his swords. + Sesshomaru probably grew more attached to his brother and the gang because of Rin over the course of the series, afterall- they did raise her as well. Sesshomaru never raised Rin. So tired of hearing that. He just let her follow him and protected her. She was left in the care of Kaede. Jaken was more of a father to her than Sesshomaru.

I had a small and unlikely theory. So you know how Towa fell into the well? Doesn't that mean Towa and her sister were near the Inuyasha village? If Rin is really their mother then that would make sense why they were in the Inuyasha village! And what if that attack is where their parents disappear? Idk it came to my mind

Given they are half demons why isn’t anyone considering the possibility that Sesshomaru May have simply ABANDONED the twins? That doesn’t explain Moroha living on her own though because while it’s possible Sesshomaru would walk out on half human children Inuyasha NEVER would have abandoned his child, he’d die before he let that happen

I think the pearl theory would be cool and an acceptable reason why the old cast isn't there. I was kind of guessing that too since they were revealed. But maybe instead of sesshomaru being the white one, what if it's kagome? I'm not too sure how someone like sesshomaru could get sealed if this was the case, but what if it's kagome since Towa managed to travel to the future? (then again root demon did gain the power of the tree of ages so this might be wrong, but it's just a theory) The color would match her Miko robes as well. I would assume the green would be Jaken because it seems logical since he's missing too right? But then again, I can't fathom a reason why Sesshomaru wouldn't have found Setsuna if she's working with Kohaku. So much theories! I can't wait for the story to unfold! Also, maybe the baby theory could be true too? Wasn't there an episode in Inuyasha with Naraku getting rid of flesh at Mount Hakurei which led to the creation of Hakudoshi and the infant? Could it be part of that flesh that was removed? Though I could be wrong since I kind of forgot what happened to those mountains of flesh, but it could be another possibility lol
I think people need to chill out lol. This is all about the new generation. Expect the original cast to play very and I do mean VERY MINOR roles. This always happens with their stories. Dante is even a back burner character in his own series lol. Now a days it's all about Nero and Vergil. Sure Dante got a bit more in 5 but it was still really about Nero and his father Vergil. If we get a decent amount of them then good. Plus alot of things happened after the fire right which tells me they are fine. We will hopefully see next week.

The owl does have a lot of similarities to Naraku in the fact that it can change into different people. Or who knows maybe Naraku somehow had a descendent 😂, highly unlikely though. I think that is a super interesting theory! I also have the same idea when it comes to the parents being inside of the pearls in the girls’ eyes I just didn’t know how to come up with why or how it happens . Your theory makes sense though . Though the girls physically look 14 , my understanding is that about 150-250 years have passed since they were born (since they are half demon) and had their human parents not been trapped in a pearl, they would have died off long ago. It’s one way to keep the original cast .

judging by promo pics, i feel like inuyasha and kagome are most likely separated. i think they had to let go of their daughter in order to protect her, which one of them probably disagreed with. that probably caused a rift in their relationship which led them to be very cold of each other. i don’t think kagome is dead or anything but most likely either taken or is harmed and i think that made inuyasha dark and depressed from guilt of not protecting kagome
If the baby did become the owl demon and sealed away the old cast, it’d make sense for the girls to be looking for a way to free them. Still, it is only a theory, but a good one. Also your puns were definitely a hoot and a holler.
I really hope the original cast isn't dead but I had a similar theory with the jewels in the girl's eye. The purpose of the black pearl in Inuyasha's eye was to go the graveyard of his father to retrieve the tessaiga, once it served its purpose it couldn't be used anymore. However, after that sometimes Inuyasha would have visions of his father's graveyard or even have dreams too. What if the girl's jewels were given to them for a similar purpose but not to go to their parent's graveyard (hopefully not) but to give the girls clues as to where they are, basically how to find them or find out what happened, what cause them all to be separated. That's my theory but I did also think of the possibility that the parents may be trapped in them too. Thanks again for your theories and facts I love them!
I have a theory taken directly during my rewatch of the Inuyasha anime during an obscure episode number 96. Synopsis of episode: A group of stray Saimyōshō attack Rin, and Jaken protects her, however, he is poisoned by one and sends a worried Rin out to find some medicinal berriesso that he might be healed; Rin tracks down the half-demon farmer Jinenjiand and asks him where she can find the berries. Rin finds the berries in a nearby ridge, and, with the help of A-Un and eventually Sesshōmaru, she is able to get the berries back to Jaken in time to save his life. Jinejiand repeatedly says at several points to Rin, and to Inuyashas gang' later on when they meet with him, that she resembles Kagome very much (he is indebted to Kagome for her kindness from a previous episode) Now this could be just my speculation, as the odds are astronomically small, but it would make sort of sense why Sesshomaru kind of seems to have some sort of feelings for rin, and Inuyashas feelings for Kagome, well,that's obvious because shes Kikyos reincarnation, but there could be another reason. Rin is Kagome's ancestor. Destroying / Incapping Rin would mean Kagome was never born, that Inuyasha was remained sealed/(dead), Miroku was killed by his own wind-tunnel as Naraku was never killed, and maybe Sango was either taken in by it being by his side. REALLY shakey kind of theory but it was really fun to consider while i was watching the episode pondering the current situation in Yashahime (i've only watched up to the Beniyasha ep) I encourage you to watch the episode, this theory discussion doesn't do it justice! If you use this theory please gimme a shoutout in the vid. i'd be really happy. XD Or you could think its a lame theory haha.
It’s a great theory but Hakudōshi literally was sucked up in miroku’s wind tunnel a cursed that was cured after they killed Naraku . The infant was absorb by Naraku to be back into his body so this theory would not work . I do like that maybe their was a misunderstanding or the owl 🦉 over heard Kagome’s ability to time travel and caused chaos just to go into the future . Henceforth, why he had Towa captured and seemed intrigued by her appearance, text book, and Kagome’s bike

Makes sense... Because there is no way Kagome, InuYasha, Rin, nor Sesshomaru would just leave their children to be on their own. Inuyasha gave his daughter the robe to protect her from the fire, like his father did when he was a baby. During the fire, something happened to them. Either we take on the theory that they are captured ( or sealed ) inside something... Otherwise we just have to go with the other possibility that they are dead ... What would be quite harsh and nearly impossible. Because Sesshomaru is one of the strongest living demons and InuYasha is the strongest half demon in this world.

In both the the OP, and the first promo poster for Yashahime, we see both Inuyasha and Sesshomaru, but not the rest of the gang. So if Axelbeats theory were to be true, I'd imagine those who have demon blood could not be imprisoned within the pearls.

I had read somewhere that Karu Wada said in an interview that Inuyasha wasn’t in the story much, but Sesshoumaru was and how he was working a bit more on Sesshoumaru’s theme music. So I guess he hinted that the brothers will be in the series, but perhaps just in a few episodes.

If Kagome is sealed in a pearl that's in Morohas eye, then it would make sense that Moroha can produce a sacred arrow like Kagome. It's almost as if Kagome is acting through Moroha by providing her with spiritual powers, thereby protecting her.

I like this theory. At least they aren’t dead but sealed. But it totally jacks up the timeline. Meaning once the seal is broken and the original gang come back, their children will be all grown up. It would be a bittersweet conclusion that Towa, Moroha, Sestuna get their family back but sad Inuyasha Sesshomaru and the others lost 10 years of their children’s lives. I almost got depressed thinking they could be dead. Sesshomaru’s death would hurt me the most if they kill him off. So hopefully they don’t do that.

And she oddly looks a lot younger than Sestuna and Towa even though she’s 14. She could possibly be physically younger like 10 or 11 and inherited her father’s longevity trait. Good news is their fathers have more time to enjoy them.

The pearl in Inuyasha's eye wasn't the seal! The sword was. The pearl's purpose was to be a portal to great Lord inu father's grave. The border between this world and the next (living and after life) Once the sword was retrieved from father's grave the pearl's purpose was over. No more magic. The sword itself is the seal for inuyasha's demonic side. Help Keep balance til the boy grew up and became stronger.

I agree with this theory. Remember Kohaku doesn't live in the village with Sango and them so he may not have been there when the battle took place. Kaede may just not have been in the battle. Which is why they're both still here. Sealing demons are typically the easiest way to deal with them if you can't fully dispose of them, we've seen this throughout most of Inuyasha's serious battles. Meaning as they're collecting these pearls they'll be saving the previous cast, or something may happen when they make a wish.

If that's the case, then the series could be about the three of them finding each of these pearls and freeing that particular person, who then fills them in about their background and history, unlocking more information about their origins and providing clues about who/where the next pearl is. They could set it up to where they do one pearl per season.
Maybe they have to gather all the pearls before they can be freed? However sesshomaru is definitely not in a pearl, neither is miroku, and I doubt that rin can be both sealed in the tree and in a pearl, so there's a couple plots holes in the theory for sure.

i think what happens is root head disrupts time. we see it infect the tree of ages, which connects to various ages. that tree is connected to kikyo, inuyasha and kagome. which imo causes them to disappear in the timeline leaving their children.

This explains some things. I was hella confused at the second episode when Kohaku and above all Kinrara have no idea that they don't know that child of Kagome and Inuyasha. She's practically the age where she knows her extended family members. And the fact that Kohaku was completely surprised that she used a holy arrow, one that only Miko's use. Because if he did and knew who her parents are he wouldn't be.

I think the kids' memories were stolen by the whatsover butterfly memory stealer (mentioned that it stole setsuna's memory but not towa since she was raised by Kagome's brother) and Inuyasha, Kagome,Miroku,Sango and Shippo are trying to retrieve them now.
Man Naraku was an interesting villain. Not crazy powerful in fights but I always remember him as the dude putting up with barriers Lols. That what he was known for and having most of the jewel shard that is.
Oh man, before you showed the picture of Naraku's baby's cloth I thought this theory would go into the direction that Kagome might have had a miscarriage or a stillbirth before she had Moroha, because according to the time line she apparently didn't have children for 6 years after marrying Inuyasha, which seems weird for an era with little to no birth control.

My sister and I thought the original cast might be frozen in time somehow (like possibly in the tree), but the pearl theory fits, too! This would potentially allow the cast to stay relatively young if/when they are recovered. I did not mind the characters aging, but I wonder if the creators wanted a reason for them to stay young? Kagome and Rin eventually looking older than Inuyasha and Sesshomaru would be a little odd after all. I'm excited to see what happens!

Well the latest episode shows us the plot of the story now. There’s a “wolf dog demon” trying to distort time , and clearly that’s inyuasha because sesshomaru was shown at the end being asked something by the tree of ages regarding kagome, who is shown suspended in time inside the tree of ages. So now we know inuyasha is pissed . What led to all this I have no idea but I’m highly invested in this story.

Maybe he was put in a situation where he couldnt use Bakusaiga or Tenseiga, like in the OG series, Naraku stole Rin for that sole purpose, to seal his swords. + Sesshomaru probably grew more attached to his brother and the gang because of Rin over the course of the series, afterall- they did raise her as well. Sesshomaru never raised Rin. So tired of hearing that. He just let her follow him and protected her. She was left in the care of Kaede. Jaken was more of a father to her than Sesshomaru.

All of sangos children are named after metals and gems. Kin is gold, gin is Siver, hisui is Jade

I had a small and unlikely theory. So you know how Towa fell into the well? Doesn't that mean Towa and her sister were near the Inuyasha village? If Rin is really their mother then that would make sense why they were in the Inuyasha village! And what if that attack is where their parents disappear? Idk it came to my mind
They didn't fall in a well, she went through a tunnel. But it's an interesting idea!
We also have to remember that Naraku never actually died. He was sealed away inside the Sacred Jewel.

Given they are half demons why isn’t anyone considering the possibility that Sesshomaru May have simply ABANDONED the twins? That doesn’t explain Moroha living on her own though because while it’s possible Sesshomaru would walk out on half human children Inuyasha NEVER would have abandoned his child, he’d die before he let that happen
Sesshomaru also showed many times how he would do anything for Rin to protect her. So I highly bout he abandoned his kids.

Nice theory, although it's hard for me to beleive, that anybody could seal Sesshomaru away. I do think that the pearl's are clues to finding our previous heroes tho!

I think the pearl theory would be cool and an acceptable reason why the old cast isn't there. I was kind of guessing that too since they were revealed. But maybe instead of sesshomaru being the white one, what if it's kagome? I'm not too sure how someone like sesshomaru could get sealed if this was the case, but what if it's kagome since Towa managed to travel to the future? (then again root demon did gain the power of the tree of ages so this might be wrong, but it's just a theory) The color would match her Miko robes as well. I would assume the green would be Jaken because it seems logical since he's missing too right? But then again, I can't fathom a reason why Sesshomaru wouldn't have found Setsuna if she's working with Kohaku. So much theories! I can't wait for the story to unfold! Also, maybe the baby theory could be true too? Wasn't there an episode in Inuyasha with Naraku getting rid of flesh at Mount Hakurei which led to the creation of Hakudoshi and the infant? Could it be part of that flesh that was removed? Though I could be wrong since I kind of forgot what happened to those mountains of flesh, but it could be another possibility lol
I think people need to chill out lol. This is all about the new generation. Expect the original cast to play very and I do mean VERY MINOR roles. This always happens with their stories. Dante is even a back burner character in his own series lol. Now a days it's all about Nero and Vergil. Sure Dante got a bit more in 5 but it was still really about Nero and his father Vergil. If we get a decent amount of them then good. Plus alot of things happened after the fire right which tells me they are fine. We will hopefully see next week.

Wow that’s really interesting! That baby though wasn’t it killed when it was older not an infant? I think that owl may have connections to Naraku, maybe like his last attempt to stay alive?? The owl does have a lot of similarities to Naraku in the fact that it can change into different people. Or who knows maybe Naraku somehow had a descendent 😂, highly unlikely though. I think it could be a curse that was placed but all we can do I theorize until it’s explained. Very informative though thank you for the video :).
I think that is a super interesting theory! I also have the same idea when it comes to the parents being inside of the pearls in the girls’ eyes I just didn’t know how to come up with why or how it happens . Your theory makes sense though . Though the girls physically look 14 , my understanding is that about 150-250 years have passed since they were born (since they are half demon) and had their human parents not been trapped in a pearl, they would have died off long ago. It’s one way to keep the original cast .

judging by promo pics, i feel like inuyasha and kagome are most likely separated. i think they had to let go of their daughter in order to protect her, which one of them probably disagreed with. that probably caused a rift in their relationship which led them to be very cold of each other. i don’t think kagome is dead or anything but most likely either taken or is harmed and i think that made inuyasha dark and depressed from guilt of not protecting kagome
If the baby did become the owl demon and sealed away the old cast, it’d make sense for the girls to be looking for a way to free them. Still, it is only a theory, but a good one.

I really hope the original cast isn't dead but I had a similar theory with the jewels in the girl's eye. The purpose of the black pearl in Inuyasha's eye was to go the graveyard of his father to retrieve the tessaiga, once it served its purpose it couldn't be used anymore. However, after that sometimes Inuyasha would have visions of his father's graveyard or even have dreams too. What if the girl's jewels were given to them for a similar purpose but not to go to their parent's graveyard (hopefully not) but to give the girls clues as to where they are, basically how to find them or find out what happened, what cause them all to be separated. That's my theory but I did also think of the possibility that the parents may be trapped in them too. Thanks again for your theories and facts I love them!
I have a theory taken directly during my rewatch of the Inuyasha anime during an obscure episode number 96.
Synopsis of episode:
A group of stray Saimyōshō attack Rin, and Jaken protects her, however, he is poisoned by one and sends a worried Rin out to find some medicinal berriesso that he might be healed;
Rin tracks down the half-demon farmer Jinenjiand and asks him where she can find the berries.
Rin finds the berries in a nearby ridge, and, with the help of A-Un and eventually Sesshōmaru, she is able to get the berries back to Jaken in time to save his life.
Jinejiand repeatedly says at several points to Rin, and to Inuyashas gang' later on when they meet with him, that she resembles Kagome very much (he is indebted to Kagome for her kindness from a previous episode)
Now this could be just my speculation, as the odds are astronomically small, but it would make sort of sense why Sesshomaru kind of seems to have some sort of feelings for rin, and Inuyashas feelings for Kagome, well,that's obvious because shes Kikyos reincarnation, but there could be another reason.
Rin is Kagome's ancestor. Destroying / Incapping Rin would mean Kagome was never born, that Inuyasha was remained sealed/(dead), Miroku was killed by his own wind-tunnel as Naraku was never killed, and maybe Sango was either taken in by it being by his side. REALLY shakey kind of theory but it was really fun to consider while i was watching the episode pondering the current situation in Yashahime (i've only watched up to the Beniyasha ep)

It’s a great theory but Hakudōshi literally was sucked up in miroku’s wind tunnel a cursed that was cured after they killed Naraku . The infant was absorb by Naraku to be back into his body so this theory would not work . I do like that maybe their was a misunderstanding or the owl 🦉 over heard Kagome’s ability to time travel and caused chaos just to go into the future . Henceforth, why he had Towa captured and seemed intrigued by her appearance, text book, and Kagome’s bike
