There is no impersonator in the World to come even close to ELVIS. His voice, charisma, personality and everything else made him so unique and untouchable. I will love him forever ❤ ♥
Elvis died forty five years ago and no one has replaced him, they can't. No one had his looks, talent, personality and charisma. He is a legend. thank you
Saw Elvis starting in the fifty’s to seeing him every time he was in Las Vegas ! I would never see a impersonator! Elvis was the greatest entertainer ever ❤️🙏
The guy singing harmony with him was pint sized Charlie Hodge. They became friends when they were both serving in the army. In his later stage shows Charlie is the guy playing acoustic guitar, singing harmonies, being the butt of Elvis jokes, hanging scarfs around Elvis' neck to hand out to fans, handing him his water in between songs, attaching his cape to his jumpsuit for the grand finales.
Memphis mafa friend, Charlie Hodge, singing harmony & playing acoustic guitar... in the years to come he would also hand Elvis the scarves, given to audiences from the stage
Charlie Hodge that is singing with him is the same Guy holding the microphone for Elvis on the song Unchained melodi, that is seen in then end of the new Elvis biopic.
That’s Charlie Hodge singing back vocals. He was in the army with Elvis. The drummer is banging a guitar case with drum sticks. No drums, just guitar case.
The best Elvis reaction people out there without a doubt,im proud to be a Elvis fan when i see how you reatct to his music. Btw those who playes with him is his original members of the band from the 50's expect one he was his best friend from the army.
Hey Guys! You are by far my favorite Elvis Presley reactors. The one performance reaction that I haven't seen from you yet is Trying To Get To You from the 68 Comeback Special. Elvis really unleashes his voice on that one. Travis would especially love it. Keep up the great work!!
Thanks guys I am so glad you get Elvis a short documentary to see his early struggles in the segregated 50''s watch "Elvis Presley and the Black Community". To get an idea of his generosity watch either "Elvis Presley A Generous Heart". Or "Elvis Presley King of Kindness". Thanks and Be Blessed.
I'm 65, when I was a little girl growing up in a small town, my Dad took me over to the next town to watch an Elvis movie. I was about 5 y/o then. I fell asleep during the movie. My Dad said "Well, we're going to have to watch it again!" You could do that back then. My Dad has been dead for 12 years now and Elvis has always been a connection to my Dad for me. They were the same age. Thank you for taking your time and sharing with us. 🇺🇸
There will never be another Elvis. Impersonators may have a few of his moves, but they will never have his looks, charm, beautiful voice range, etc. I see in people who imitate him forced moves, it just dosen't come off as natural. They try but no one can capture the true personality.
This man had the whole package! Charisma, voice ,moves and phenomenal looks! I wish i was in this time! Please react bossa nova baby, his moves phenomenal! Thank you guys!
Elvis ability to improvise is by far away one of the greatest gifts he had he understood his audience the way he tease the crowd if you haven't done so can you try reacting to Love me tender in Vegas it asked how would you handle that situation thank you guys for your action other than Charlie Hodge the rest with the original group from the 50s and it was our last time they perform together again thank you for your reaction
I remember seeing this on tv when it first aired. I was 13 and a budding guitarist. Elvis had become somewhat displaced by the British Invasion and the West Coast sound so it was a comeback of sorts. It's an impressive performance. As to Elvis impersonators: In 1981 I was broke and fresh out of a local Rock band. I saw an ad in the paper looking for a front man for an Elvis Impersonator. I thought: "No way in hell I'm doing that" but hunger won over a few days later so I called the ad and arranged a meet at his house. He and his wife met me at their house and I sat in their living room and played a few songs for them. He hired me on the spot and he and his wife proceeded to tell me of their love for Elvis. All through the 70's they had gone to Vegas and watched his performances from the front row. As proof they showed me a suitcase full of scarves that Elvis had handed them from the stage over the years. I could see the seriousness of this in their eyes so I went out and hired 9 musicians. We had horns, keyboards - organ and piano - and all could sing. Most members could play multiple instruments which was very handy. Many of them I hired from the University of Illinois music program thanks to the help of an associate professor of music theory who is now an Emmy winning songwriter in Nashville. We were to play two sets and he would do two sets of Elvis. After we got the show together he came out to listen to us and voiced his approval. He booked a small gig to get our feet wet. The next gig we played had 900 people in a small dinner theater. I was astonished at the crowd reactions. It felt like they thought they were really at an Elvis show. His name was Tommy Ray Seaman and he not only looked like Elvis his voice could climb out of the basement all the way to the attic and never falter - never. Every night some lucky lady would get a scarf from him and the reaction was always like he had handed it to a giddy schoolgirl. Tommy Ray was such an incredible vocalist I never tired of hearing him sing. We regularly played to house and venues so packed there was ALWAYS standing room only. As a Rock and Metal guitarist I was flabbergasted. Though I've played to crowds like that since, I never had before that. After 2 years he called it quits and I moved on. I learned more about music in that 2 years than I ever did anywhere else and made some lifelong friends to boot. I was embarrassed when I first took the job, but after all the work we put in, the level of musicianship, the quality of material, The way the shows opened and closed and all the experiences; I am humbled to have been with such incredible musicians. R.I.P. Tommy Ray Seaman, 2022.
Hi Mr. Mrs. Travis thank you for loving my comment. Now even through me know who Elvis Presley maybe also Shawn Klush however me has never hard sound, / music, u see me was born Deaf. For me music different All about vibrations. But me very sure u guys learning a lot about Mr. Presley hope u 2 have great, wonderful, bless journey with Mr. Presley music .
This wasn't Tiger Man. But it was good enough. This is from the '68 Special a representation of which you saw in the Elvis movie. An even better more rocking part of that show is the Heartbreak Hotel Medley where he performs standing up in all his black leather glory. So that's a first time request from me. Cheers.
Great fun reaction as usual guys. As a fan of many decades I find it interesting many reactors say he had a deep manly voice and yet 'in my day' it was nothing different but I guess possibly shows the movement to popular men's higher voices in general. and all that goes with it.
I agree that no-one can be Elvis, or even be as good as him. There are, however, some really good ETAs (Elvis Tribute Artists) who are huge Elvis fans themselves and enjoy paying tribute to him. A couple of the best ones at the moment are Cody Ray Slaughter and Dean Z.
Elvis impersonators have done the most damage to his image through the years than anything else. So there's a big difference between impersonators, who treat him like a punchline, and tribute artists who do their best to honor the actual man. There are some tribute artists who are extremely good too - but they will never be Elvis, and they know this. There was only one.
I agree with you whole heartedly. I feel that sometimes they turn Elvis into a caricature with the white jumpsuit, sunglasses, wig and a fake southern accent. Elvis was a great entertainer, he loved his audience and strived to give the best performance he could give.
LOVE you guys…….Please keep up the good work on Elvis. VERY few Elvis tribute artists, if any….have what “it”was. Their love and sometimes obsession…..is their wheelhouse and demise. Can you guys tackle The Beatles at sone point?
Supposedly, this was the song which E. and the Beatles started singing together when the group visited him in Los Angeles in 1965. It broke the awkward tension. Would that there had been a tape recorder running to capture it for posterity.
Here is your answer Travis ......Yes there are FANTASTIC ......TRIBUTE ARTIST of ELVIS OUT THERE ...... HOWEVER I HAVE NOT SEEN A IMPERSONATOR OR ACTOR WORTH A DAM ...... INCLUDING AUSTIN ...... READ MY OTHER POST TO CLICK ON THE LINKS OF JUST SOME OF THE GREAT ONES DOING HIM ..... NO BRAG ...... JUST FACT ......
Hey! I’ve just found your reactions and I love them! Can I make 2 recommendations? ‘Trying to get to you’… I heard you mention it in an earlier video but I can’t see a reaction to it and ‘my way’… originally Frank Sinatra but Elvis completely owns it!
You two should go visit Graceland in Memphis and stay at the Peabody Hotel and watch the flock of ducks get off the elevator and walk through the bar and do their show !! P.S love watching you two ❤️‼️
When Elvis originally recorded this song, he hated it, thought it was a mockery. So he sang the shit out of it to show them how stupid the song was. Turned into a Huge hit because he completely changed the way it was to be recorded. That was his genius- interpreting songs.
I can see how this song would be cheesy on the page and in the hands of almost any other artist but it's all about how he sings it that makes it my favorite. Elvis doing what only Elvis can... that's why we love him.
I've never seen an Elvis impersonator who could hold a candle to the real thing...God bless them, because some of them really try, and some are pretty good , but NONE of them have that Elvis magic...Not a one !
C'mon guys Elvis impersonators! Some can some can't! NONE can't they're a joke. Strutting round Vegas with fake sideburns & trying to do the sneer & huh, huh, huh .. without genuine god given swag. It's like matching a Rolls Royce with a Reliant Robin 4 wheeler. Don't insult him. The guy was one of a kind .. fact. Don't forget ... we had Hendrix, Deep Purple, Metallica, Guns n Roses .. Slash on guitar! .. there's always some band better or to live up to,you're good guys but it ain't right to compare an all round, diverse, talented, kind, much loved guy, who's now died to some cheap impersonator trying to make a fast buck. I do love your reactions & you're a cool couple but react is not compare. Good luck with your band. Reminds me of Nightwish.
I think it was Johnny Carson that said " if the world was fair, Elvis world be alive, and All the impersonators dead".
There is no impersonator in the World to come even close to ELVIS. His voice, charisma, personality and everything else made him so unique and untouchable. I will love him forever ❤ ♥
NEVER have I seen anybody come close. It comes from inside Elvis.
What a BEAUTIFUL MAN he was!!!💜❤💜❤❤💜💜❤💛💜💛
Elvis died forty five years ago and no one has replaced him, they can't. No one had his looks, talent, personality and charisma. He is a legend. thank you
Saw Elvis starting in the fifty’s to seeing him every time he was in Las Vegas ! I would never see a impersonator! Elvis was the greatest entertainer ever ❤️🙏
The other 2 guys was Dj Fontana and Scotty Moore they were the ones who started out with Elvis in 1954 they drove all those miles together...
Elvis invented swagger.
Charlie was the stage manager for Elvis in all respects.
And Charlie lived at Graceland until Elvis passed ❤
The king Elvis .Need more music please.
Good song thank you 👍☺️
Swoon , how can you not just Love him. He makes me melt
Memphis mafa friend, Charlie Hodge, singing harmony & playing acoustic guitar... in the years to come he would also hand Elvis the scarves, given to audiences from the stage
Charlie hodge was doing backing vocals, he was the guy that you see on the 70s stuff giving Elvis scarfs etc on stage
Charlie Hodge that is singing with him is the same Guy holding the microphone for Elvis on the song Unchained melodi, that is seen in then end of the new Elvis biopic.
charlie hodge is harmonizing with him in 68' and all throughout the 70's. he even lived at Graceland. They were great friends:))
Oh my goodness he was so beautiful 💕💕
The best Elvis impersonation has to be tongue in cheek. That, for me, is the skill and art in that format.
That’s Charlie Hodge singing back vocals. He was in the army with Elvis. The drummer is banging a guitar case with drum sticks. No drums, just guitar case.

None of the impersonators can’t hold a candle unique like each individual is. Everyone brings something to the table God given talents and special
Elvis in black leather, nothing better!!!!!
My mom loved this song and I couldn’t figure out why. I was a child and it sounded corny at that time. Now I understand it! I love Elvis!
This is one of his best
One thing for sure I think he is completely aware of his power’s 😂❤❤❤❤
One of my faves this whole set is absolutely stunning!
I'm 65, when I was a little girl growing up in a small town, my Dad took me over to the next town to watch an Elvis movie. I was about 5 y/o then. I fell asleep during the movie. He is 🔥
Singing harmony with him is Charlie Hodge ( seated to his right playing guitar)
My favorite Elvis song. The way he sings it, to me, is everything I love about how he sings.
This man had the whole package! Charisma, voice ,moves and phenomenal looks! I wish i was in this time! Please react bossa nova baby, his moves phenomenal! Thank you guys!
Keep doing Elvis. You two are funny as hell.
Those backup singers are The Jordanaires who were in many Elvis songs. Of course, the female backup singers were the Sweet Inspirations 😋
I’m this particular performance, Charlie Hodge is singing with him.
@@russjohnson2478 The Memphis Mob
@@clydeb7713 mafia
Charlie Hodge was singing with him as his harmony.
Love, love it !!!
I would love to have you react to “Such A Night” song by Elvis Presley
Loved this!
Charlie hodge singing with E, dj fontana on drums and scotty moore on guitar
Finally....been waiting for another elvis reaction...THANK YOU!! 🙏🙏🙏🤜🤛🔥🔥🤗❤️🤗❤️🤗
Elvis is just one of kind Charlie hogg is singing with him he super hot in that black leather
Elvis's favorite impersonation of him was by Andy Kauffman on the Johnny Carson Show. He loved it.
Have you noticed that no Elvis impersonator really look like Elvis - but they all look like each other? There will never be another Elvis. Period.
Charlie hodge elvis friend and he harmonised with elvis on 60s songs

Elvis was a goofball, he chuckled because he liked to joke around a lot.
Charlie Hodge was singing with him.
Correct. And he was a disgusting little man.

The best "impersonation" of Elvis I have seen is Austin Butler in the movie.
Shawn klush is a pretty well known tribute performer. He won a popular televised competition 😀
Check out the 56' version 👍 Video!
My understanding is that the only Elvis impersonator who actually received a thumbs up from Elvis himself was Andy Kaufman.
Review "you're so square, baby I don't care.... his entourage say that's the moment they realized he was a superstar....
Shazam is a superhero that had a TV show. He would say, “SHAZAM” to initiate his power of strength & flight.
Charlie Hodge is singing with him.
The guys aren't talking - they're singing backup
Please play trying to get to you by Elvis is from the same special

You guys need to listen to Elvis Summer Kisses Winter Tears. It's not like anything else Elvis recorded.
Hey guys..please check out inherit the wind by Elvis
This version is much better at the 1973's Aloha show.
Dean Z is the best Elvis Tribute Artist. Austin Butler in the movie Elvis was the absolute best Elvis who embodied Elvis's soul,
100% Dean Z.
Best I have ever seen as a tribute artist.

I used to be a Elvis impersonator in Las Vegas I'm in the movie 3000 miles to grace land
I remember my parents watching the show 🤘😎👍🎸🎸👑
Scotty his first guitar player dj fontana his drummer and Charlie hodge his flunky wish he handed him his scarfs and sang melody with him
