If I remember correctly I had my gain up to 10, treble to around 3 and bass in 1 or 2 and I have the O.D button pressed so I don’t get a clean sound and sounds distorted. But obviously the sound can be modified with personal taste and I think EDEN actually used a pedal for this song. Just mess around with the settings that I used and hopefully it works out for you. Good luck! (Ps. Use metal strings to get that rock sound) (usually thats the default for electric guitars so I would assume you already got those but just in case)

I know this is a few months old, but I just wanted to say, for the first part of the interlude, I've learned it where instead of sliding on the D string to 12, then going back to 10 and ending on 8, I would go down to the G string and play 7,8, and then 10, 8, 10 on the D string. I think this sounds a bit more like what Eden is doing in his song. BTW I don't mean to sound bitchy this tutorial is great and my ear is barely developed so I could be very wrong, anyway let me know what you think, please.

I doubt anyone still reads the comments on these, but around 5:11 i find it difficult. My issue is when I put my finger on the 10th fret of the g, it just kills the vibration and it stops making sound, any help? I'm an absolute beginner in guitar so I'm probably doing something wrong.
You doubted wrong my friend ;) The issue is because you're playing acoustic. Thicker strings will not vibrate as easy and become dampened, that is also why you're hearing an electric with a pickup in the video. Don't get me wrong its of course possible but it will take a lot of practice and finger strength! If the acoustic is the only guitar you have and this is the type of music you enjoy playing, I may recommend slightly thinner strings the next time you replace them. Cheers!
You can try to press harder but as Kyle also says it takes a lot of finger strength and if you're a beginner that can be a bit difficult. Just keep going and eventually you'll get it 😀

Tip don't put your finger on top of frets... Keep it right behind the fret bar but keep pressure on it obviously
