Thanks SO MUCH for this video, it introduced me to the downstream keyer that I didn't know existed prior to seeing this video, and as you stated in the video, that plugin is a game changer!! Being able to hotkey scene activation at the click of a button or mouse adds another element to my stream. It keep viewers engaged and entertained. Also, while hotkeying events, I had an epiphany... I was creating profile after profile on my stream deck to key the events and was using DSK to trigger them; I had PAGES of profiles that I had to search through to find what I was looking for.... Until I found a better way!! Now I can trigger my events in the moment without even needing to take my eye off of whatever I am doing in stream.... a TOTAL game changer!! So THANK YOU very much for putting me on this path!!

vertical is awesome! It's a tool I've been waiting for for so long... I was always having problems with scene collection - going from 9:16 to 16:9 quickly - having both at the same time is absolutely awsome. *I use obs connected to Zoom and Meets and keep things new and interesting in my ESL classes I teach in Brazil. I wonder if you would be able to do a video with "training" as the focus - like things you think would spice up that kind of content. Great stuff though! For some reason my computer blocked Advanced Scene Switcher Installer and the Wave Form (must be some hidden security I didn't know I had running in the background) - I don't know how I might use them in training... but I like the challenge of figuring out crazy stuff for a class. Keep up the great work.

just looking at the difference between the 3 cameras your using im not sure the type nor brand of them but the lighting from different angles really does make and break the vid just learning this stuff and i now notice this as i look at vids and since your doing help vids i thought id comment on this another great vid from you

Virtual camera is built in to OBS.
Advanced scene switcher seems to have one bug though. If a scene not named in any of the macros is playing the macro tends to execute anyway. I have several scenes set up where I'm doing an if such and such a scene is active then do something else. But in the condition where the scene playing is not the scene mentioned in the macro I still experience random macro executions.

Hi Sir, How to Make Video Background similar to your video background
Trivium is one of my favorite bands. Been a fan for almost 15 years.
With the automatic scene switcher... can you use it to record a whole podcast that is build in segments just by setting this up and letting it run through the entire list of scenes, from start to finish? Example, if I wanted to have several parts to a podcast, and I set it all up, then have it triggered by by "start recording" and then have it stop recording after the last scene, we'll call it the outro, then automatically file it all for me?
Whoever develops and gives these plugins for free is a life saver!
Quick one, is it possible to screen record and show a coding tutorial in Vertical format? I am worried what would happen when the length of the lines is longer than the horizontal video space of the vertical format.

Yeah you can change the resolution of your canvas to whatever you want. Go to Settings > Video > It's at the top. So if you want 1080 x 1920 instead of 1920 x 1080 you can just swap the values there. Happy coding.

I can't get the cources of my camera to move like you have, I did everything you did! Is there anything in the setting needs to be activated in order that action to work for me?
These are helpful ideas, especially the tutorial. my only gripe was the number of times you begin to say something and then half way through you completely change what you are saying, eg "so the first thing you wanna do is click over here and set it... oh and you can change the name of it by clicking... just let me put it over there... and here's an option to change how many" and it makes it VERY difficult to follow.

@@CreativeReactionTvIt's a normal question posed to anyone looking for new equipment. Considering that you have an old 2-core laptop now, it doesn't give the appearance that you have an unlimited budget. Anyway, you can practically go with almost any current gaming laptop and do way better. You can even go with an i5 CPU if the i7-based laptops are out of your price range. The real key here is RAM. 24GB minimum; 32GB or more, optimal. And make sure you have a decent GPU (e.g. NVIDIA GeForce RTX) for video processing.
Have you set OBS's bitrate to 2500 or higher?
I want to switch from one camera to the other every 6 seconds automatically for the duration of the recording. I tried with the advanced scene switcher but can´t get it right.
if you put 2 zeros in front of the semicolon it will create chapters on your video .. but you probably already knew that ( something like this 00:00 Intro then 01:30 Move Transition Plugin ... )
I tried doing the shape Filter to change the shape but it didn't work. I wanted to use a circle mask but it was still shaped like a rectangle. What am I doing wrong?
