Our joint project "Geheimsache Igel" has already celebrated its twenty-fifth anniversary! In over 4,400 captivating performances, my ensemble and I have brought this play to life in countless kindergartens, daycare centers, and primary schools. The feedback from dedicated educators has been overwhelming, and the children are enthusiastically engaged. "Geheimsache Igel" has been consistently praised for its unique approach to teaching violence prevention in a child-friendly, exciting, and humorous way. It touches the young audience on a deep and lasting level.
Through our group and classroom activities, we aim to help children better understand their social environment and feel safer within it. We strive to break down prejudices, fears, and inhibitions. Our goal is to teach children to recognize their own needs and communicate them clearly to others, while also learning to respect others' needs and boundaries. We want to encourage children to act independently and proactively, thereby strengthening their self-confidence. Our aim is to curb violence in our society and create a social climate that supports and strengthens children's development-for the benefit of us all.
