Hope you guys are having a great Friday!! Was time to check out some more STYX! Amazing employment newer production elements while still holding on to that killer rock sound, a banger for sure! Stay awesome friends! 🔥🤟🏻
Andy & Alex Good call on this classic song. One thing about Styx is when u get their albums you know what you’re gonna get. Very distinct vocals and funky grooves with distinct guitar 🎸 work. Now....When you play PAINKILLER by Judas Priest, turn your headphones up to get the full effect of those machine gun drums at the beginning You dudes are doing good. Keep it up. ✌🏻 out clowns!
TBH I don't care what tracks y'all react to by STYX cause they're all great!!! Some of my favorites are Mr. Roboto, Come Sail Away, Lady, Babe, Pieces of Eight, Suite Madame Blue, Queen of Spades, Grand Illusion, Blue Collar Man...🤘😎🤘
Seen these guys in 76 at Ohio River Jam in Cincy. 9 bands $9.00, Aerosmith, Blue Oyster Cult, Black Oak Arkansas, R.E.O Speedwagon, Outlaws, Status Quo, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Styx and Bobby Womack. 60,000 plus Nippert Stadium Football Field. Those were the days LOL
The New Floyd The first episode of Freaks and Geeks plays “Come Sail Away” at the end during a school dance scene. It’s a perfect moment for those of us who were in high school in the late 70’s and early 80’s.
Styx rose up when hard rock started to become glossy and mainstream. It was a trend of the late 70s, and it was the undoing of many bands, much like today. Still Styx had a talent for ballads, humor, hooks and commercial hard rock. They were hugely popular for a few years, dominating rock/pop radio in the US just before and after around 1980 along with bands like REO Speedwagon and Supertramp.
FYI, guys, the lead vocalist in this song, Tommy Shaw, went on to form Damn Yankees with Ted Nugent and Jack Blades (bassist/vocalist from Night Ranger). They had 2 or 3 hits from their debut album.
"Renegade" and 'Too Much Time on My Hands" are sung by Styx's Tommy Shaw ... as is "Fooling Yourself (Angry Young Man)." Styx also had many hits - that sound way different than Tommy Shaw's songs - with his bandmate Dennis DeYoung, who sang lead on "Lady," "Come Sail Away," and the weirdly fun "Mr. Roboto."
A&A, Styx is a gold mine of great music, with some serious cheese mixed in, That being said, Blue Collar Man, Crystal Ball, Snowblind, Suite Madame Blue, Fooling Yourself (hell, the entire Grand Illusion album for that matter) but most of all, for me, is The Grand Illusion. I was thirteen when it was released and very, very few songs have ever spoken to me like Grand Illusion did. The music is spectacular but the lyrics, wow. For a lost, confused teen, I felt like someone finally heard me.
Blue Collar Man The Grand Illusion Fooling Yourself (The Angry Young Man) Crystal Ball Suite Madame Blue All of those are awesome songs. Keep up the great work, guys!
Glad to see you guys getting your STYX FYX! The musical diversity of STYX is one of their greatest attributes and the Renegade/Too Much Time on My Hands is a prime example of that. I would recommend "Come Sail Away". Warning NOT, I repeat, NOT to use the "Official Video" version which cuts out the middle section of the song!!! Please listen to the 6 minute version which is the TRUE version of the song. Love the channel and keep the STYX comin'.
Oh, man, there are so many good Styx songs out there for you guys. Blue Collar Man, Come Sail Away, Lady, Lorelei, The Best of Times, Fooling Yourself, Babe, Miss America, The Grand Illusion, and more.
Hey guys. First off I graduated from high school in 1978 so Styx was very popular with me. Crystal Ball is one I'd love to see you guys do. Grand Illusion is another. Great work you two. Love to see the music from my era being enjoyed.
YES...YES...YES!!! Ridin' The Storm Out live (from the 1977 live album "You Get What You Play For") is ABSOLUTE REO Speedwagon listening and the cut that should be played for introducing someone to this band. This is a perfect example from my post above wincing on some of the recent song choices lately and how a wrong song can turn someone off immediately from a band and not give them another chance. If someone is curious about REO Then "Ridin' The Storm Out" is a perfect place to start because like many bands of the 70's and 80's they started out class A, arse kickin' rock n roll band and then went softer than your great grand dad's love unit!! REO is 2 different bands (see night ranger), arse kickin' rock from about 71 (noting the debut of gary richrath and his guitar & song writing skills) through 1980 and then came the other band that started writing love songs for 14 year old girls like "don't let him go" and over the cliff they fell. Buh-BY!! Richrath then tried a solo gig but the record wasn't backed well by the label. Gary also had his demons as many musicians do and it cost him his spot in REO and soon after his solo act tanked and he drank himself to death. Anyhow, REO was once a great rock band so WHOEVER decides what goes into A & A's headphones, the 1977 cut of Ridin' The Storm Out on the "You Get What You Play For" album is the ticket to the REAL REO. Git 'Er Done!!
You cannot REALLY get into Styx without these songs: 1) Snowblind (Paradise Theater) 2) Suite Madam Blue (Equinox) 3) Crystal Ball (Crystal Ball), the first album with Tommy Shaw 4) Blue Collar Man And, probably the song that launched them into super stardom: Come Sail Away (Grand Illusion)
I remember Styx mostly in the 70's with the songs from the Grand Illusion album on the radio a lot. My favorite is Come Sail Away, but I also remember Fooling Yourself and The Grand Illusion.
You guys obviously love Tommy Shaw’s vocals. You should check out his other band Damn Yankee’s and react to songs like Come again or High Enough.Awesome songs!
Glad to see CHRYSTAL BALL getting props. It's my fav Styx song. Killer harmony vocals!! It was (16 year old) Tommy Shaw's first song he ever wrote and it got him the Styx gig. Like Equinox before it, that whole album is killer and one of rocks finest albums.
Yes, 80's production, but very early (with at least five toes hanging on to the 70's). For more STYX, check out their first hit from back in the Wooden Nickel days - 'Lady.' For later hits check out 'Come Sail Away,' Fooling Yourself' - or anything from Grand Illusion album.
One thing that distinguishes great 80's rock is that the best bands didn't get stuck with a single formula. Much of what is produced today by an artist sounds like that artist... they have one sound and all of their songs sound like it. The great ones re-invent their sound, and in the 80's (and the later 70's to a degree) they were always changing. You can't listen to one or two songs from Styx and know Styx; you have to experience it all.
OMG yes!!! Where do I start, there are so many gems by this band. "Suite Madame Blue", "Miss America", "Grand Illusion" I could keep going LOL but I'll stop there. Way to go with the clapping Alex, spot on!
Maggot Brain by Funkadelic with the late , great Eddie Hazel on guitar. Produced by George Clinton , of Parliament / Dr. Funkenstein fame. Really awesome guitarworks !
Styx is SO diverse, partly due to the fact all lineups had 3 lead vocalists/songwriters with great voices. The classic lineup (1976-1983, 1995-1999) had three awesome songwriters. The Top 40 singles (they had 8 Top 10's) would be one catalog, and the album tracks would be a HUGE catalog. Collaborations of 2 or 3 of the songwriters were very cool too. The following recommendations are a mix of the above (lead singers in parentheses) Come Sail Away (Dennis Deyoung) Put Me On (James Young/DDY) Queen of Spades (DDY) Fooling Yourself (Tommy Shaw) Great White Hope (JY) Snowblind (JY/TS) Man In The Wilderness (TS) Castle Walls (DDY) Borrowed Time (DDY) Rockin' The Paradise (DDY) Miss America (JY) Half Penny/Two Penny (JY) Cold War (TS) And, after you pick a couple of the above more "rock" songs, you guys NEED to react to the controversial Mr. Roboto (DDY)!
Tommy Shaw (singing this and lead guitar) was my favorite Styx member. He's just so fun to watch, has a fabulous voice and his guitar riffs are the best. Ahh memories....
Haha, TOTAL radio song. They played it constantly, but it was so catchy, I didn’t mind it too much. Alex, I was waiting to see if you’d clap along-it’s hard not to, right? EARLY 80’s realness here, gentlemen.
Styx is best in the 70s. My 10 year old self used to fall asleep listening to Grand Illusion (1977) on my 8-track (and those babies play all night, over and over till you stopped them) with big old headphones on. Paradise Theater 1981 was probably the last album I really liked. Earlier Styx is really worth diving into and if you ever get a chance - do put your headphones on and listen to Grand Illusion all the way through some night, promise, you'll love it.
My favorite Styx songs are "Crystal Ball" " Lady" "Come Sail Away" " Grand Illusion" " and " Suite Madame Blue.!! Keep on Rocking guys & have a fantastic day.
Check out the Styx song "Babe". Extremely divisive song amongst the fans, but I always loved that song. It was the very first song I ever fell in love with as a child. In 1979, I was 4 years old and I heard that song and instantly loved it. Some fans love it, but a lot of fans don't like it at all, even though it was a huge #1 song at the time.
I grew up on this stuff. Listen to this entire album. Beginning to end. It's really a rock n roll musical. There is live version on YT I saw the other day that is just amazing! Worth the watch just to see Tommy and Dennis in their prime.
Other great songs by Styx are, The best of times, Lonely people, Why me, Nothing ever goes as planned, Fooling yourself, and if you like harder Rock, try, Miss America, Half penny two penny, The Queen of spades and Snowblind.
Styx has sooo many great songs, here’s a few good ones, Miss America, Sweet Madame Blue, Man in the wilderness, Snow blind , Crystal Ball, Blue collar man, Superstar! Happy listening!🙌🏻
Oh guys, thank you, thank you. I love Styx and always loved, loved this song. The beat pulls you in right away. It’s like a bunch of clocks ticking different times but all together. I don’t know how else to explain it; but it gets me every time. You guys made a great choice.
Major Styx fan here so best banger left is “Blue Collar Man”, but “Suite Madam Blue” is sooooo good, and “Crystal Ball” is to Styx as “Hitch a Ride” is to Boston - all that being said “Come Sail Away” best of all worlds
Blue Collar Man, Grand Illusion, Man In The Wilderness, Fooling Yourself, Suite Madame Blue, Crystal Ball, Come Sail Away, hell all of Grand Illusion, most of Pieces Of Eight, and many others
Young dudes...saw them 3 times in 70’s , totally Rocked!! One of arena rocks masters. Dennis DeYoung is still playing solo and Tommy Shaw still has a great fricking voice. Keep it up, living my old bones thru you young dudes, so remind me of me..😂😂😂😎🎧🤟🏻✌🏻
I saw Styx for the The Grand Illusion tour. The first line was welcome to the grand illusion, and it was. It was one of the tasteful concert and one of the best I have ever seen. I have seen over 100 concerts, and this was up there.
I think you're wrong about the fun. This is from the Paradise Theater album (1980) and it marked the beginning of a rift between Dennis DeYoung and Tommy Shaw (one of my favorite guitarists). DeYoung was more experimental and kept adding theatrical elements into the music. The other members, most notably Shaw, didn't like it. It eventually led to them ousting DeYoung. They had some great hits in the 70s and 80s. I'd recommend "Come Sail Away" and "Fooling Yourself" off the top of my head. You should also give Damn Yankees a listen. It's a band comprised of Tommy Shaw, Ted Nugent, Jack Blades, and Michael Cartellone.
The riff between band members started after *Cornerstone* was released. Dennis was actually first fired in 1980. But the guys couldn't find a replacement for him at the time, so they asked Dennis to come back. Even during their Wooden Nickel period though, and *Equinox,* they had problems with DeYoung. He was one of the main reasons John Curulewski left the band in 1975...
Styx has many songs to explore. Come Sail Away is probably their most famous one. Other good ones are The Grand Illusion which has deep lyrics, Fooling Yourself, Castle Walls, Crystal Ball, Blue Collar Man and many others.
Styx had three singer/songwriters during their heyday. You've listened to two songs sung by Tommy Shaw. This may be a different tact for the two of you, I suggest you listen to three songs in a row, one from each singer. Suite Madame Blue (Dennis DeYoung circa 1976, Miss America (James Young - 1977) and Blue Collar Man (Tommy Shaw - 1979). Three unique songs by each guy in the band. You won't regret it. :) Oh, and a constant supporting them were twin bothers Chuck and John Panazzo on base and drums/percussion.
Seen Styx twice. Second time was in 2022. Just turned 50 and it was 50 years of Styx, had to get me a shirt, lol.. so awesome. In 1st grade Babe was my favorite song, 😁 Feeling alittle nostalgic.
th-cam.com/video/dASsnykRwm4/w-d-xo.html Now watch this version. Done where we seen them with local musicians. My daughter almost went there but instead liked the program at Baldwin Wallace more.
Come sail away. Must listen. I so enjoy watching this younger generation enjoying all the great music that came out of the 70s and 80s. Best music ever.
You both are about my daughters age and I love that your generation is getting to experience this music. She has always loved classic rock from 60-80’s. Keep seeking out the sounds
I've become a big Styx fan over the past few months.. If you are interested into delving into the real rare progressive rock sound check out their first 4 albums from Wooden Nickel.. My favorite albums from the early days are Styx II and Man of Miracles!. A must listen to especially DeYoungs stuff especially Suzanne, Father OSA and Man of Miracles.
Love you both, and you're great taste in music....This is Tommy Shaw's song, lead singing...I just saw and got to meet Styx a few months ago and not only do they sound incredible, you would never know Tommy is 65/66, his energy, voice and looks are years younger, another plus, the entire band is humble and plays for the love of music and is so giving to their fans....if ever in your area, a truly great concert to see.....Have an incredible weekend, and Rock On!!
Just watched your Boston - More Than a Feeling video. Been aware of your content for about 3 weeks now and see you're doing great. Some treasures are for discerning listeners and you definitely qualify soooo. Challenge: Of the following which do you like more? Edgar Winter - Frankenstien or Boston - The Launch. They are both nonvocal instrumental so the music is the message. Give those two a listen and I'd love to watch your reaction and hear your thoughts. Requirement. Serious volume on both.
I bought "They only come out at night" , when I was 12 or 13, specifically for Frankenstein. It was the first album I bought, and it took me awhile to save enough allowance to buy it, but well worth it. Free Ride was a bonus. I'm now 56, and it remains one of my all-time favorites. I love rock instrumentals, like Hocus Pocus by Focus(a little yodeling, but no lyrics, YYZ by Rush, and Outta Space by Billy Preston(more funk than rock), but it STILL rocks.
You should react to Styx "Fooling Yourself"! The entire Grand Illusion album is a masterpiece! I was 13 when it was released and I've loved the album ever since!
Just saw them live in concert a couple weeks ago. They’re still stellar musicians...into their mid and late 60’s! Fun to see a couple of young guys experiencing an older generation of rock music for the first time!

✌🏻 out clowns!
Grand Illusion is a popular Styx tune BTW...
TBH I don't care what tracks y'all react to by STYX cause they're all great!!! Some of my favorites are Mr. Roboto, Come Sail Away, Lady, Babe, Pieces of Eight, Suite Madame Blue, Queen of Spades, Grand Illusion, Blue Collar Man...🤘😎🤘
Andy & Alex you guys should definitely do Come Sail Away by STYX, this was a great video guys keep it going!
Seen these guys in 76 at Ohio River Jam in Cincy. 9 bands $9.00, Aerosmith, Blue Oyster Cult, Black Oak Arkansas, R.E.O Speedwagon, Outlaws, Status Quo, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Styx and Bobby Womack. 60,000 plus Nippert Stadium Football Field. Those were the days LOL
Come Sail Away and Grand Illusion are required Styx listening...
The New Floyd The first episode of Freaks and Geeks plays “Come Sail Away” at the end during a school dance scene. It’s a perfect moment for those of us who were in high school in the late 70’s and early 80’s.
The 2 above mentioned songs are WAY better than this song. Way!
Seconding both choices
Would you not add Foolin Yourself to that list? Based on the album connection.
@@Veggamattic That's a great song. Other nice ones, from other albums, Crystal Ball, Queen of spades..
“Blue Collar Man”- my favorite Styx song. Second fave would be “the Grand Illusion”.
I used to listen to it whenever I had to get a different job. Great tune!
Agreed! Probably my all-time favorite of theirs. Tommy Shaw's songs were always my favorites.
Exellent choice. Turn it uuuppp!!!!
Blue Collar Man will always be my all time favorite song, for being FRICKIN AMAZING and for being the song that First brought me to Styx.
*"Blue Collar Man"* is my absolute favorite Styx track. But
*"Miss America"* is a VERY close second...🎸🎲🎶
LOVE Tommy Shaw. great singer and guitar player
One of THE best 80s bands!
Come Sail Away is probably one of Styx's biggest hits. I'd do that one next.
Definitely. Show me the Way is good too
Miss America, Live!!!
Half Penny Two Penny is my favorite from this album -- that song bangs.
Styx was and still is one of the best bands ever.. I see them every time they come around,,
One of my favs. Saw them during their Grand Illusion and Mr Roboto tours.
More Styx, Snowblind, Miss America, Crystal Ball and Suite Madame Blue.
Miss America for sure
You know it Joe S
Suite Madame Blue is still remarkably topical. Great song.
Joe S Miss America is such a great song.
Lorelei is great too
Suite Madame Blue absolutely goes hard as fuck
FYI, guys, the lead vocalist in this song, Tommy Shaw, went on to form Damn Yankees with Ted Nugent and Jack Blades (bassist/vocalist from Night Ranger). They had 2 or 3 hits from their debut album.

Come Sail Away - Styx - Probably already heard it, but it's a top tier song
Styx songs that MUST be listened to..Come sail away,Fooling yourself,Crystal Ball,Boat on the river and Mr.Roboto
Fooling Yourself, Miss America, Man in the Wilderness
Blue Collar Man
The Grand Illusion
Fooling Yourself (The Angry Young Man)
Crystal Ball
Suite Madame Blue
All of those are awesome songs. Keep up the great work, guys!
The Styx album, The Grand Illusion, provided a few excellent tracks including the title track as well as "Miss America."
Suite Madame Blue is a classic Styx tune from 1975 EQUINOX album. Light Up and Lorelei are great tracks from the album, too
Glad to see you guys getting your STYX FYX! Sounds to me like you guys need to get introduced to REO Speedwagon! Rinding the Storm Out (live)!!
Yeah Please React To Them
REO: TAKE IT ON THE RUN - RIDIN’ THE STORM OUT -ROLL WITH THE CHANGES- Who wouldn’t love to hear LIKE YOU DO. BANGER!!
Oh yeah!
Absolutely. Also Take It On The Run. Roll With The Changes is pretty good also.
You cannot REALLY get into Styx without these songs:

2) Suite Madam Blue (Equinox)
3) Crystal Ball (Crystal Ball), the first album with Tommy Shaw
4) Blue Collar Man
And, probably the song that launched them into super stardom: Come Sail Away (Grand Illusion)
I remember Styx mostly in the 70's with the songs from the Grand Illusion album on the radio a lot. My favorite is Come Sail Away, but I also remember Fooling Yourself and The Grand Illusion.
Good ole 1981...only 38 years ago...LOVE this band...and your reaction...
You guys obviously love Tommy Shaw’s vocals. You should check out his other band Damn Yankee’s and react to songs like Come again or High Enough.Awesome songs!
darrell wood Ted Nugent also plays in this band.
Red Miner and Jack Blades of Night Ranger.Great band IMO
darrell wood High Enough was my wedding song. Im not traditional. I needed a rock song. 😎
Man in the Wilderness and Castle Walls (back to back songs from the Grand Illusion album) are my favorites. You MUST give a listen.

I loved Styx! 1970s baby! We had em' all!!! So miss those days.
Lady (original version not the rerecording), Crystal Ball, Suite Madame Blue, Grand Illusion
YES! Crystal Ball all day!
OMG yes!!! Where do I start, there are so many gems by this band. "Suite Madame Blue", "Miss America", "Grand Illusion" I could keep going LOL but I'll stop there. Way to go with the clapping Alex, spot on!
Guys....if you like Renegade....then I recommend Blue Collar Man by Styx
Maggot Brain by Funkadelic with the late , great Eddie Hazel on guitar. Produced by George Clinton , of Parliament / Dr. Funkenstein fame. Really awesome guitarworks !
OH MAN! This reaction is priceless! Like 2 bobblehead dolls!

Come Sail Away (Dennis Deyoung)
Put Me On (James Young/DDY)
Queen of Spades (DDY)
Fooling Yourself (Tommy Shaw)
Great White Hope (JY)
Snowblind (JY/TS)
Man In The Wilderness (TS)
Castle Walls (DDY)
Borrowed Time (DDY)
Rockin' The Paradise (DDY)
Miss America (JY)
Half Penny/Two Penny (JY)
Cold War (TS)
And, after you pick a couple of the above more "rock" songs, you guys NEED to react to the controversial Mr. Roboto (DDY)!
Great vocals on this track. Love the New Wave bent as well. Check out Mr. Roboto for their most experimental song.
Exactly why they should try it. It was out there, In its day.
Tommy Shaw (singing this and lead guitar) was my favorite Styx member. He's just so fun to watch, has a fabulous voice and his guitar riffs are the best. Ahh memories....

I love Styx. Of course, as a girl, I love their song “Come Sail Away.” Love the Hendrix shirt Andy. Great video guys.
Check out Blue Collar Man. Another great one from Styx.
dudes, you'll enjoy SNOWBLIND, SUITE MADAM BLUE and my favorite STYX song, QUEEN OF SPADES, ENJOY.
Castle Walls, Fooling Yourself, Blue Collar Man, Lorelei, Crystal Ball, Come Sail Away...so many great Styx songs.
Other great songs by Styx are, The best of times, Lonely people, Why me, Nothing ever goes as planned, Fooling yourself, and if you like harder Rock, try, Miss America, Half penny two penny, The Queen of spades and Snowblind.
Great review, guys. Glad you liked it!
Styx has sooo many great songs, here’s a few good ones, Miss America, Sweet Madame Blue, Man in the wilderness, Snow blind , Crystal Ball, Blue collar man, Superstar! Happy listening!🙌🏻

Great live band, saw them twice WITH Dennis DeYoung. Talent all around. Crystal Ball, play it!
Miss America and Man in the Wilderness are tops on my list.
Styx is my favorite group ever!!!!!!!!!! Thank you.
Oh guys, thank you, thank you. I love Styx and always loved, loved this song. The beat pulls you in right away. It’s like a bunch of clocks ticking different times but all together. I don’t know how else to explain it; but it gets me every time. You guys made a great choice.

Crystal Ball. You'll love how it starts out slow and builds with their signature vocal sound and style of rock.
I saw Styx for Grand Illusion. The first line sung was 'Welcome to the Grand Illusion' What a perfect way to start a concert.
Blue Collar Man, Grand Illusion, Man In The Wilderness, Fooling Yourself, Suite Madame Blue, Crystal Ball, Come Sail Away, hell all of Grand Illusion, most of Pieces Of Eight, and many others
I second that list. Especially Fooling Yourself and Castle Walls. As well as Man in the Wilderness.
Pieces of Eight is their best, IMO.
Absolutely with you there.
Guys I am a huge STYX fan - please see them in concert when they start up - they are amazing. They are a tight band that brings it at every show.
A fantastic album. Check out Suite Madam Blue, one of my favs
I remember skating with my girl at the roller rink and everyone clap clapping along with this song.
Damn Yankees! Whoop!
One of my favorite Styx songs. Great music and hilarious lyrics.
Styx has many songs to explore. Come Sail Away is probably their most famous one. Other good ones are The Grand Illusion which has deep lyrics, Fooling Yourself, Castle Walls, Crystal Ball, Blue Collar Man and many others.
Saw them @ the Lakeland Civic center
Florida in early 70’s. This song rocked the place!!!
Suite Madame Blue. It's no contest. Their song about America. It's epic!
"Miss America" which features the third lead singer(?) James Young. Such a versatile band!
My very close second favorite Styx song. JY is fantastic. I've yet to hear anyone react to it...
Oh, and a constant supporting them were twin bothers Chuck and John Panazzo on base and drums/percussion.
J Wine still pushing you do this, maybe a Friday or Saturday eve. 😎
Seen Styx twice. Second time was in 2022. Just turned 50 and it was 50 years of Styx, had to get me a shirt, lol.. so awesome. In 1st grade Babe was my favorite song, 😁 Feeling alittle nostalgic.
I started taking my daughter to see them live every year till she got married. So we have about 10 concerts together with them
th-cam.com/video/dASsnykRwm4/w-d-xo.html
Now watch this version. Done where we seen them with local musicians. My daughter almost went there but instead liked the program at Baldwin Wallace more.
Grand Illusion is my favorite Styx album...Songs The Grand Illusion, Fooling Yourself, Come Sail Away, Miss America, Castle Walls! All killer...
“Babe” is a beautiful one.
Ho-hum, boring...
@@kengarner3625 that's too bad - Babe has a beautiful melody
Come sail away. Must listen. I so enjoy watching this younger generation enjoying all the great music that came out of the 70s and 80s. Best music ever.
Great that u picked up the difference in the music. Most agree that their older stuff was much harder and substantial
Man of Miracles is EPIC. I don't think anyone has done a reaction video to that one, would love to see it here by A&A.
I’m such an old bat that I remember when all these songs first came out
Seeing Styx summer 2022! Anyone else??
So glad you guys enjoyed this song, A&A! It was fun seeing you get the clap part down! \|/
Full version of come sail away stellar
check out "Superstar" off of Grand Illusion or "Castle walls"
My favs are Suite Madame Blue and Crystal Ball!! Styx is one of the the best Classic Rock Bands!!
I saw this live in concert in the late 80’s ?! Lakeland FL ! This song rocked the house!!!
Gotta do Blue Collar Man...best song...great job as always guys...
So glad you like them! Great live in concert! My first concert!
Some other great Styx songs are "Lady", Mr. Roboto" "Lorelei" and "Show me the way" to name just a few 🤘😎
😂
For a Chick....YES !!!!!
Oh my! Forgot about Lorelie! Going to listen to it right now. Thanks!
COME SAIL AWAY... You'll be blown away.. these guys knew how to write, play and sang...not sing but sang!!
Suite madam blue... castle walls....(or older) -crystal ball
I saw them twice in the 70s in concert. Once was the tour for this album. They were amazing and still are!
