You can make cheap glass canon 100kk dps with this skill gem and farm up to tank version but at the point then you can gear up you are probably going to vomit of boss killing farm

The gear in this video was probably between 600-700 divs. You can probably make a “budget” version with about 30% less damage for a bit under half of that would be my guess

How is the clear for t16 mapping? Do the herald of ash explosions do a good job?

Yeah you get Herald of Ash pops and have a decent chunk of increased area of effect on the tree. The clear feels decent - best in indoor layouts like Defiled Cathedral

so why is cold conversion so important here? you dont really doubledip do you?

You scale damage on both parts of the aura - so you benefit from the physical damage as extra (the spell is pure phys damage - and we scale a lot of flat damage with gem levels) - and then we're converting all to cold so we benefit from the more cold damage. This is why you see most phys builds convert to cold, since you don't get that much value with something like fire for example.

Also because we're inquisitor - we ignore resistance with crits, so we don't need to worry about ele weakness or frostbite with cold dmg
