I wanted to produce this video as a way of testing my creativity and exploring the behind the scenes of film. I am very grateful for the overwhelming support from my family, friends, the crew and my mentors who have helped me throughout this process.
I first met Marinda Davis in 2012, and ever since she has inspired me to take risks in dancing and dance every dance as if it was the last. I hope this video has done Marinda's choreography justice. She is a genius and I thank her for believing in me.

Hey Alex,
You're so refreshing to watch, when I watch you I realise that it's ok to be myself and to forget some people that have hurt me so that I can make my life better. When I saw this it reminded me of scouts.
I am a scout in Australia (Yes I am a girl but we don't call it Boy Scouts just scouts but we also have girl guides for girls only)
Scouts have brought so many memories for me, my scout den got burnt down last year and nothing has went to plan we lost stuff you can't replace, the memories that were in the walls feel like they all disappeared now, but when I watched this it made me think they're not! I can make them alive again and re live them. Thank you for being an inspiration

Whats your fav episode of TNS you have ever filmed? Great dancing by the way x
That is such a hard question!! I really loved filming the regional episodes in season 4 because we are able to perform in front of fans! It was also my first time performing with The Next Step! Specifically, the regionals hip hop dance 'Famous' was so fun to film! Those are definetly some of my favourite episodes. I also have some favs in season six that I can't mention yet! :) Stay tuned!

This is beautiful. I absolutely love how much emotion you show. Do you have any tips for dancers trying to better themselves technically. I've been watching you dance since your first season on the next step and you've grown so much. What an inspiration.
Thank you for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed it :) Thanks for supporting the show. It means a lot :) For improving technique, I always to turn to ballet! I'm actually going through the process of improving my technique currently and therefore have increased the amount of ballet I do each week. Ballet is the foundation of all dance and where good technique can be established and improved. I hope that helps! All the best!

It was a FULL day of shooting! I think my call time was 7am and we wrapped really late that night. So fun though! I'm sorry to hear you had to leave early. Thank you for all the support and I hope to meet you someday :) All the best.
