    It looks great! You took from a toy to a scale model with the modifications and painting. It so much better now. Thanks for sharing this.

    Nice result! I was inwardly cringing when you were talking about putting this in the oven, though, as these toys are already made of a soft plastic. My tip is to treat yourself to some 5 minute epoxy putty, and you'll never look back.

      I need to look into the 5 min epoxy. Thanks.

    I always hold my breath when you’re using your exacto blade 😬 I’m glad you didn’t lose any digits. Great job (as always)! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

    That turned out super cool, way more realistic and movie/show accurate! It's amazing what a few modifications and the right paint in the right places can do to some of these toys. Excellent video, great job on this one. I love it!!
    Really amazed that you used Sculpey on this and actually baked (😱) this in the oven. Very risky! As others have said in the comments, 5-minute/2-part epoxy would have been the safer bet.
    Great stuff, thanks for sharing, and keep on keeping on!!

      Thank you very much! I will totally look into the 5 min epoxy.

    Awesome job Doc, I was very surprised to hear you used sculpey and it survived the oven, I know sculpey bakes at low temp but that's crazy. 👍😎

      I was running out of time so it was definitely a gamble... 😂
      The saddle bags were fine but the bike was a little floppy until I ran it under cold water. It maybe wasn't the smartest idea but hey, it worked! 😂

    Very nice. I couldn't belive you put that in the oven. But hey it worked. That vinyl plastic Hasbro uses is nice because it cuts easily, but yeah it's really difficult to glue on it. I use gorilla super glue and still have difficulty.

    beautiful. I just got into collecting/customization/dioramas etc. but my painting skills definitely need some work, so videos like this are very helpful :)

    Maybe next time you can use Apoxie Sculpt. Works better than clay. Especially on figures.

    • @DRToysCreations
      @DRToysCreations  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, I have Magic Sculpt Epoxy clay, just didn't have time for it to dry if I wanted to get my video published... so i rolled the dice.😂
      Thanks for watching.

    Unsure if you mentioned anything about it (I'm partially impaired of hearing) but next time you need to fill some holes
    without risking to melt anything in the oven (surprised the toy survived, phew), you could use two-part epoxy putty.
    Regardless, superb job as always :>

      Yeah, I have Mili Put but it take a few hours to dry and I didn't have enough time for that... I totally know I dodged a bullet on this one! 😂

  • @scottmefford6917
    @scottmefford6917 ปีที่แล้ว

    I've never used Milliput myself. I do know, however, that Kneadatite (Green Stuff) begins curing pretty hard in about a half an hour.

    • @DRToysCreations
      @DRToysCreations  ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven’t used the green stuff. I recently have been using Magic Sculpt. I like it… I do wanna try the green stuff at some point.

    Awesome work!!! I love watching your repaints or 'glow-ups' of toys just as much as I enjoy watching you make droids out of random materials! Have you thought about making droids based off characters? (ex: sailor moon, spiderman, batman, homer simpson, etc) Can't wait to see your other project! Keep up the great work!!!

    You can also harden sculpey by boiling it I’ve found

    Amazing looks so much better than it's stock version! Have you heard of the table too game Gaslands? It's the ultimate game for kit bashing makers.

      Because I still work a fulltime job and am doing this as a "hobby" I have avoided doing commissions just for the sake of not wanting to stress over what I currently enjoy. 😀

    Ended up using the child from that toy with my 3.75 Mando and Cara Dune. the bike i modified for Jawa usage.. that little Mando now rides on the back of a Godzilla figure.. Together that set looks kind of wacky.
