I agree with the order of care in this case of an animal in major distress. Warmth & giving them drinking water should be first, then food, then bathed if needed, etc. Overall you’re an angel for rescuing this little creature that was at death’s door.❤❤❤❤

Hello people! As an animal rescuer, let me give you some needed advice. You do NOT take a stressed kitten that is half dead and BATHE it. That is NOT what you do. This is wrong. The people should have taken the kitten, wrapped it up in a towel, dried it off and THEN given it water first and then FOOD. You do NOT take a kitten that is in serious duress and bathe it. That is NOT what you do. You first STABILIZE the kitten. I wish more people understood this. It's not hard, it is COMMON SENSE!!! The danger is that the kitten will get pneumonia and die.

Well, I'm just glad the guy saved the sweet little thing. It's true I thought he was going to half-drown the poor little thing, especially showering the face. It looked like a drowned little rat to begin with and then turned into such a gorgeous creature with fluffy fur. He did his best for the kitten, and I am grateful. His heart is compassionate and in the right place. Not sure if he is a professional rescuer, so perhaps he'll heed your advice. I think he didn't want to bring fleas into the house... but it is really critical to warm the small animals when they are rescued, especially if they are cold and wet.
True, the stress from a bath too soon is very traumatic for a kitten.
@@annelbeab8124 blanket, heating pad is much better. Then bathe after. We work for 6 cat rescue groups in Edmonton Canada.🇨🇦
We also do volunteer photo shoots to raise money for cat and dog rescue organizations. And grow and donate about 10 lbs of catnip and seeds.. we give out to shelters and friends.
We’ve got literally hundreds of cats buzzed on catnip. 😹✨🌱🌱🌱.

Warming the kitten with water,you could have gave the kitten a heart attack! You never warm any animal with water when they are wet and cold,instead you wrap them in warm blanket use a heat pad not turned up on high but warm,so that you raise the animals body temperature slowly. First thing you should have done is taken kitty to the vet. If you do not know the proper order and ways to care for animals,doing so wrong can cause harm and even death. Research proper procedure and how to treat animals being knowledgeable,makes all the difference in rescuing animals. Good to see the little kitten made it.

Also if there any need to eat him liquid food then be careful so that the liquid don’t enter in his or her lungs 🫁 through the breath canal , feed her by the side of his or her mouth little by little. 😭🤲🤲🤲🤲
