I make lots of water features with glass items from the thrift. No matter how wide your bowl, those different tips are going to spray your water all over! I suggest taking the top off and allowing the water to bubble out of the funnel shaped top it gives a nice water sound without loosing water from your feature so quickly
I agree 💯 I have to keep a hose on very low so it doesn't lose water so quickly, the wind, even if very faint, moves the spray, you're right, just for the sound, I'll take your suggestion 👍... I just keep it in the shade now😊
I’m not sure if anyone has mentioned this but in Indiana we have Family Dollar’s that are also owned by Dollar Tree and you can pick up the stands as well as a lot of the “Dollar Tree Plus” items there.
I live within 30-45 minutes of 5 different DT stores, but only 1 has been turned into a DT Plus so far. I was SO excited when they first converted it because I found so many amazing items. Including those plant stands. I went the other day, for those plant stands and citronella buckets, because I put up a small pool and wanted to use the stands for my citronella buckets. They didn't have a single plant stand or a single citronella bucket, or candle, in the whole store. They didn't even have any cute solar lights either. I was so bummed. I ended up paying $7, for the exact same plant stands, from Family Dollar and I had to buy my citronella buckets at Walmart, which cost more as well. 😕 I guess I'm going to have to start snatching stuff up, when I find it at our DT Plus.

With the DIY door mat you can also use freezer paper. You can use your cricut to cut whatever design you want into the freezer paper, then use an iron or heat press to tack the freezer paper down (you may have to use pin needles to tack down any loose letters) I then taped everything I did not want colored. I recommend getting some Black waterproof Flex Seal Spray. It works amazing and won't fade! :) Remove all freezer paper and there you go! :) You could even use it under a planter :)
We have a similar Water Fountain.
Suggestion: Use a different spout that came in the box, for a lower Fountain. ❤😊

They make lighted solar fountains too that run at night. You have to change the spout so it doesn't spray everywhere. I put one in a bird bath too, the birds love it

i have bright turquoise Adirondack chairs, I have been spray painting all my wrought iron, red , yellow, turquoise, and green really pops!! instead of the boring black colors...i bought 2 of those solar pumps about 6 years ago they work fabulous, but the water will pump out fast so you have to keep filling them up,,,,number 7 is my fav

I have one of those solar powered fountain pieces too. I was disappointed to find that they don’t hold energy but my guess it’s due to the motor. I still love it. My makeshift fountain is a metal planter that came with a stand…perfect for my small patio. And I can move it around to follow the sun. There is a little lever under the plate where you can control the height of the water and it came with plastic pegs to help stabilize it in the water so it’s always centered in whatever vessel you’re using.
Loved several but #4 was my favorite!
Walmart still has the coir mats for $5.97-I bought a few months ago to make personalized gifts for friends.

With a windy area those plant stands would be all over the yard and the plants depotted

I live in a very windy area and I have to add LARGE rocks to my planters and I use alot of wire and rebar 😂

If you cut the pieces of a Plastic hanging plant hanger that has 3 or 4 extensions on it, you can measure them and clip them on the outside of the solar fountain and it will keep the solar fountain in the middle of the bowl.

For the price of the rug and flex seal spray, tape and paint. I’ll buy a rug because I have seen the same exact thing in the stores. Unless you just like to diy , I do a lot of diy but I’m figuring I’m saving money.

I have the same solar fountain,. I seen if you use straws or bamboo skewers stick in the sides and trim down to keep the unit in the center of bowl. I used bamboo skewers
